Super goed hotel,zeer vriendelijk en netjes alsook het restaurant is de moeite en centraal gelegen maar toch rustig in de nacht. Een aanrader. Je kan ook fijn wandelen langs de kusten voldoende winkels en restaurants in de buurt. Ook de bussen zijn super ,men kan alle kanten op vis het autobus station en helemaal niet duur.

Geboekt voor één nacht, omdat we een dag in Alumuñecar moesten zijn. Uiteindelijk drie nachten gebleven. Leuke kamer, wel wat gehorig. We konden meegenieten van de escapades van de buren ;-(). Onbijt werd het niet: koud omeletje, kop thee en een wit bolletje ("we only have normal bread"). Tip: maak een kaartje met wat je aan ontbijt serveert en zorg voor een volkoren broodje. Restaurant was erg verrassend, hebben daar twee keer super gegeten.

Everything about this hotel is excellent! Starting with the management and staff. Very much a family feel with nothing being too much trouble. To be honest we’re not a very demanding couple but everything was spot on. Everything very Spanish in a very Spanish resort. We had a couple of evening meals at the hotel and was the best food we had in Almuneca. I really can’t praise this establishment enough. I guess if you wanted a pool this is not offered but it’s literally a stones throw from a fine beach and maybe that’s why it’s 3 star and not 4 Can’t wait to return!!!

The hotel has an ideal location with a great view of the bay and each unit has a nice balcony. We were there in November so their restaurant was only open for breakfast. Breakfast was fine. I’d give it a good over an average rating, but that’s not an option on Trip Advisor. I would stay again if we were in Almunecar. We wandered next door to the bird park and that was an enjoyable hour and half. We climbed to the top of the rock just across the road from the hotel and took some amazing sunset photos. The bar/tapas scene is a bit of a walk from the hotel but wasn’t hard to find.

Very average 2 star hotel, there is nothing there. The kitchen is miserable and one person attending front desk, bar and kitchen. There is an a restaurant next door with very poor food. We booked it for 7 nights but moved to another hotel the next day. Obviously the hotel didn’t give us any refund

The hotel is in a great area (near the beach and restaurants). It's a bit dated in decor, but it's clean and the staff is outstanding.

The Casablanca was a good choice. There is nothing not to like about this small family-run (?) hotel, in possibly the best location in Almuñécar, right next to the Peñones de San Cristóbal. The top-floor double room with balcony and sea view was perfectly well-appointed (although I suppose tea/coffee-making equipment would have been welcome, and maybe even possible - to be fair, we never asked!). A nice bathroom with good shower, excellent bedside lighting, a decent breakfast, friendly staff, and free parking close by (at least while we were there – it may have had something to do with the renovation works going on on the square in front of the hotel) made this a very pleasant stop for two nights. Recommended.
