Hotels bij Tongyeong Cable Car, Tongyeong-si

Sunny was there to greet us when we arrived. She could speak and understand English which was a big help to us. You will need your own transportation. The bus and taxi service is very limited. The rooms was very comfortable and has everything for an extended stay. Magnificent view of several local islands and plenty of jetties for fishing.

I honestly could not be more satisfied with this hotel! When I first booked, I noticed it looked like a newly opened property, and from the reviews it seemed the owners were running it with great care. The rooms looked stylish yet affordable, so I immediately reserved two nights without hesitation, and it turned out exactly as I had hoped! Although the hostess doesn’t speak much English, she was extremely warm and welcoming, and even kindly allowed us to check in early. The room was a bit small, but very well designed and beautifully decorated. What I loved most was the window view—it was so calming and made the whole environment feel wonderfully comfortable. On our second night, we met a man who also didn’t speak much English. At first I thought he walked away because we couldn’t speak Korean, but it turned out he had gone to use his translation app to communicate with us. He was equally hospitable. I suspect he was the owner, since the hostess mentioned that her husband designed this hotel. If you’re visiting Tongyeong, staying at this hotel is definitely the right choice. I strongly recommend booking a sea-view room. Tongyeong itself is a lovely small city, much more relaxing than Busan. I also visited Geoje Island, and honestly, the two days in Tongyeong and Geoje were the highlight of my entire trip. Busan was fun too, but it didn’t quite compare. I look forward to exploring more small cities in Korea in the future!

위치 좋습니다. 걸어다니기에 좀 멀지 않나 생각했는데, 다른 호텔도 다 이정도 거리는 될 거 같아요. 동피랑, 시장, 강구안, 삼도수군통제영 다 도보로 가능한 거리입니다 서피랑도 도보로 충분히 가능합니다.. 주차 넉넉해서 좋고 객실도 깨끗합니다. 조식은 커피, 샐러드 2종, 식빵, 모닝빵, 삶은 달걀, 반찬 5종, 국 있어요. 처음에는 먹을게 없다 싶었는데, 손 잘 가는 음식들로만 있어서 너무 잘 먹었습니다. 매생이굴국도 맛있었어요. 침대는 적당히 푹신해서 꿀잠 잤어요. 침구는 깨끗하고 이불 먼지는 없었습니다. 다만 테이블이 안정적이지 않아서 넘어지지 않도록 주의하셔야 합니다. 보통 tv밑에 있는 책상 겸 선반도 없지만 전체적으로 만족합니다. 숙소 고민 많이 하고 예약했는데 만족합니다. 가족여행이시라면 더더욱 추천합니다.

I planned to stay here for one night but stayed for 2. I loved the place and the owner is such a kind and interesting person. They have very beautiful cafe which feels like a botanical garden. Well, it might not be the warmest place in winter but as anywhere else in Korea. In general, I enjoyed the place it is clean and beautiful.

Plus: There was no holiday season when I stayed at the hotel, which made the experience very relaxing and enjoyable. The swimming pool, which is open from 09:00 to 20:00, was available only for me. I highly recommend the 5 PM boat tour—it was one of the best experiences in Tongyeong. The staff is very kind. The room with a balcony overlooking the sea is fantastic. Minus: There was only one restaurant offering grilled dishes for dinner. I didn’t have a chance to eat breakfast at the hotel, as they exceptionally did not offer breakfast during my stay. The hotel is located far from the city center, main harbor, and sightseeing spots. Take a taxi if you don’t have your own car.

청결하고, 숙소 위치가 시장과 동피랑에서 매우 가깝고, 바다가 보이는 뷰라 좋았습니다. 방음은 잘되는 편은 아니기에 민감하신 분은 이에 대한 대책을 세우고 가셔야 할겁니다. 주차장은 있지만 주차장 진입 및 주차 난이도가 약간 있습니다. 종합적으로 봤을 때, 가격 대비 아주 괜찮은 숙소라고 느꼈습니다. 추천합니다.

Room is a little small. Breakfast is complimentary, you do not need to pay more on Trip.com. We didn’t know breakfast is complimentary and had paid for a room package with breakfast. Location is excellent, can walk to the port area and Tongyeong Junggang Market. Towels provided are small, the hotel does not have the normal big shower towels. Cleanliness could have been better as we unfortunately encountered a big bug in our room 😖

Location is a little remote but the views are incredible. The hot tub in the unit was amazing and the rooms were comfortable and clean. I would only suggest that the living space would’ve been more comfortable if there was seating available other than the dining table. Overall a relaxing stay.

Good value, nice clean room. Great location close to the bus terminal. Lots of restaurants, shops and giant Emart close by, and not far from walking path along the water. We were able to borrow umbrellas when it rained too.
