Todos Santos Boutique Hotel

Magical and World class. My wife and I live part-time in San Jose, Del Cabo, and every year take a trip to nearby Todo Santos, staying overnight to enjoy the local dining and arts scene. We were already familiar with the Todos Santos Inn, having stayed there in former times and enjoying its uniquely Old World Mexican hacienda character. When planning this year‘s trip, we read of the transformation of this historical Inn, and booked a reservation. We had no idea just how transformed and magical this place would be. We quickly came to know Marco and Kevin at the front desk (and later Rolando) - their warm welcome a sign of things to come. The new ownership came at the renovation with a complete understanding of what was to be preserved and enhanced, taking a “money is no object” approach in making this one of the finest boutique hotels imaginable. The bar, sumptuous and intimate in design - certainly requiring a special cocktail, mixed by bar meister Gabriel. We delighted in our special tasting dinners (both nights), hidden away in the very intimate wine cellar, surrounded by a wide array of world wines, attended to by the resident and knowing sommelier, Cesar, along with kindred spirits Jose Luis and Adrian. All prepared by their youthful and talented chef, Giovanay, incorporating the amazing local Baja seafood. Breakfast in the patio, served along with house made pastries and jam, was presented by the most gracious and charming young lady, Sherlyn, both mornings expertly brewing our bespoke Chemex coffee. And last, but not least, days lingering by the eternity-edged pool, letting go of everything. It felt like a vacation that we haven’t had for a very long time. We only were able to stay one night in April, but then vowed to return promptly for a longer stay, which is now. We reluctantly leave for the second time, much anticipating our return again next year to this magical place.

Fabulous, authentic experience in Todos Santos. This Inn has been lovingly and beautifully restored. The Inn staff (including Fernanda, Leticia and Roberto) was absolutely outstanding! The rooms are very nice and clean. Breakfast was delicious - coffee, tea and water were readily available. The location is great 0- walinking distace to everything in town. Surrounded by great food and drinks. Even before we checked in, the hotel contacted us about timing and any needs we may have. We did not have a car and they arranged rides for the airport and various outings. The staff even drove us which was above and beyond. We had a very fun evening in the gorgeous bar with flaming specialty drinks. Roberto did an incredible job mixing cocktails and entertaining us. The entire experience was wonderful. We will definitely be back and wil recommend the hotel to friends. Thanks for a fabulous stay.

Beautiful and charming hotel with a fabulous bar/lounge near to everything in town. Very relaxing and quiet with a wonderful friendly staff. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Nice that snacks, beer and water are available all day to guests at no charge.

Such a quaint hotel. It was an amazing experience. The staff was warm and welcoming. The service in the bar and restaurant was perfect. The food was off the chart. We only stayed only one night. Will come back again and stay a few nights and see the town.

The facilities and location were wonderful. The breakfast was lovely and the staff was very responsive. Our only complaint is that the pillows were too fat and hard for us and there was a little choice of types of pillow.

Room #7 is clean and have a very comfortable bed; however the air con is weak and doesn’t get cold. Good thing there’s a ceiling fan. I could hear the cars driving by at night so if you are a light sleeper, beware. Shower is strong with hot water, wi-fi strong, friendly staff and beautiful yard with nice small swimming pool and within steps to the center of town. Great location.

When you’re there, you forget your worries. This place is magical, and the staff are the most welcoming and attentive.

This hotel and the staff were both 10 out of 10. The property maintains the esthetic of 1870 while keeping all the necessary comforts of a top rated hotel. The bed was super comfy, room and grounds were clean, the staff was always available to help and their bar is top notch. We felt very well taken care of at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in town for the night. Thank you Todos Santos Inn!
