Hotel Palacio de Meras

Beautiful property and room. Great food in the hotel restaurant. All the staff was pleasant and very helpful - even though my Spanish is terrible. Grocery store and other restaurants and stores writhing short walking distance. Room had an actual tub which was awesome after a day on the Camino!

Teneo is the first beautiful town on the Camino after a few dodgy towns. The hotel had a beautiful paining on the wall of the reception to desplay the history of this area of Spain. The rooms is up to standard with a comfortable mastress and bath/shower. We also had dinner in the beautiful closed old courtyard. The food was great. The breakfast was very small.

The room was good, the shower in the bath is uncomfortable. The service in the hotel is just available in spanish, we asked for that. We've been there for 3 days and we have never been greeted. They don't notice us when we pass.

The staff are very friendly and professional. They endured our basic Spanish and they spoke adequate English. The hotel is first class.

This is a beautiful hotel, in a sensitively restored villa. ( the green building in the photo is not the palacio). Spotlessly clean. My husband had an accident in Tineo and the staff could not have been more helpful or caring, going ‘above and beyond’ to facilitate a trip to the hospital in Cangas. All in all, a well run hotel with an excellent restaurant.

Hotel Palacio de Meras 7. Bis 9. Juli Unterwegs auf dem Camino habe ich hier 2 Nächte gebucht für 290  Euro Frühstück kostet separat. Das Zimmer ist gross und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Kahle Wände ohne Fotos oder ein Bild. Wenn man zu zweit reist gibt es nur eine Sitzmöglichkeit: das Bett. Wenn du aber am Kopfende sitzt und an der Wand anlehnst rutsch das Bett weg. Mein Zimmer war gegen die Strasse. Somit hatte ich den Lärm von der Strasse (Fenster geschlossen, dichten aber fast nicht) und vom Restaurant. Es gbit keine Trinkgläser auf dem Zimmer. Im Bad sind die Zahngläser dünne Plastikgläser (ohne Schutz direkt umgekehrt auf der Ablage. Das Restaurant befindet sich im ehemaligen Innenhof, der überdacht und sehr ringhörig ist. Man hört die Stimmen der Leute und das klappern des Geschirrs. Das Hotel ist aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, dies könnte man mit alten Fotos dokumentieren. Tatsächlich habe ich eins entdeckt: versteckt im Restaurant. Essen im Restaurant: Bitte vermeiden! Das Personal ist nicht besonders motiviert. Man muss den Tisch vorher reservieren und bekommt als Alleinreisender einen Tisch am Rand zugewiesen. Der Tisch ist - obwohl füe 1 Person reserviert - für 2 aufgedeckt. Das 2te Gedeck wird auch nie weggeräumt. Habe als Vorspeise Spargeln bestellt. Sie wurden kalt aus dem Kühlschrank serviert - gekocht ohne Salz - mit ein paar kleinen Tupfern Mayonaise und etwas Mischsalat ohne Sauce garniert. Zum Hauptgang habe ich ein Entrecote "bleu" bestellt. Das kam dann fast durchgebraten auf kaltem Teller mit ein wenig Pommes und wieder ein Häufchen Mischsalat (mind. 1 Tag alt) ohne Sauce. Habe das Fleisch reklamiert und bekam dan tatsächlich ein "bleu" serviert: Auf dem gleichen kalten Teller. Ohne Sauce und nicht gewürzt. Die Pommes waren inzwischen kalt. Auf ein Dessert habe ich dann verzichtet. Frühstück: Buffet mit grosser Auswahl. Den Kaffee kann man selber nehmen. Hat nur Kapselmaschine. Eierspeisen sind vorgebraten und angetrocknet. Fleisch und  billiger Scheibenkäse sind auf Platten bedeckt mit Plastikfolie. Hoffentlich hat nicht der Kellner, welcher stumm die Tische abräumt, die Folie daruf getan: Zum Abräumen hat er das System, welches man von billigen Spelunken kennt.  3 Gläser werden mit 3 Finger zusammen gepackt, jeder in einem Glas, und so in die Küche getragen. FAZIT: Übernachten ist OK wenn man nicht sehr viel Wert auf Ruhe legt (Nach der Essenszeit ist es ruhig) und soviel Geld ausgeben will. Umweltschutz ist definitiv hier kein Thema. Im Bad nur kleine Fläschchen und beim Frühstück kleine Verpackungen. Auch Reparaturen und Unterhalt werden nicht so ernst genommen. Siehe meine Fotos.

Me he quedado muy sorprendida con la calidad de este hotel, ya que viendo opiniones pensé no sería tan bueno y a mi me ha gustado mucho, especialmente llegando cansada luego de un día haciendo el camino de Santiago. El personal muy amable y amistoso, la habitación amplia, cómoda , bien iluminada, muy limpia. Y el baño muy moderno y cómodo (ver fotos) Desayuno bien, sin ser excelente, también he cenado muy bien en el lugar

Nos alojamos en el albergue y los habitáculos para cuatro peregrinos eran muy pequeños. El alquiler a 4 euros por una manta para el frío de la noche, me pareció abusivo. El número de baños un poco justo para los cincuentitantos peregrinos que podíamos dormir allí. El menú del peregrino no lo probé, pero me comentaron que bien de precio y calidad. El precio por estancia, 16 euros, también me pareció bien.

Entre la chambre et le petit déjeuner nous avons rien à dire pour le repas pèlerin une honte en plus vous les couvrez en ne programment pas mon avis ne me demander plus jamais un seul avis en France et en Europe J’ai honte pour vous de couvrir des gens qui ne respecte pas leur client je vous confirme que notre repas était des restes qu’on donne aux cochons c’est fini à tout jamais avec tripadvisor c’est honteux
