Holly Lodge Boutique B&B

The perfect venue! We stayed in the spacious 'Ivy' room with en-suite shower room. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable with good storage and a cute sofa to while away the time planning the next adventure. Holly Lodge is a cleverly designed property with a beautiful garden complete with cosy corners. Bicycles are available. The bed and linen were sumptuous as too was the breakfast with delicious options available. Thursford is the perfect location from which to explore the Norfolk coastline and beyond. This property has well deserved reviews and we would not hesitate to return. Thank you to the Holly Lodge team

Amazing gem of a boutique B&B, rooms have everything. Nespresso, water, wine.. Breakfast are good quality.. Electric point for the car. its in a great location to visit norfolk. We would recommend this place to any couple wanting a great break

My husband and I stayed here for the first time in March, it’s a beautiful property in a lovely, quiet location. We stayed in the Ivy room which was beautifully designed as is the whole place with lovely little personal touches throughout. The staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful and we were really made to feel at home. We will definitely return and would highly recommend Holly Lodge ☺️

We always book this accommodation when we go to the Thursford Chris**as Spectacular. The place has never disappointed, we choose to stay in one of the cottages and it is cosy in there. Breakfast is always great and the staff are so friendly, we won't hesitate to return again in 2024.

We stayed in Misletoe, the room was immaculate and the meet and great staff were friendly. Pity we didn't book 2 nights. Breakfast was cooked especially for you and the choice is endless. The porridge was the best I have tasted..much better than mine. Will be booking again as this is within walking distance of the Thursford Spectacular show.

Absolutely perfect! A beautiful house with more that you could wish for. Was sad to only be staying one night. Our party stayed in Mistletoe in The Lodge and the Shepherds Hut which was fabulous. Real luxury. And if you’re going to the Thursford Chris**as Spectacular it is a 3 minute walk away.

This gem of a small boutique B & B is absolutely perfect for the Thursford Chris**as Spectacular as it is very near, yet quiet and peaceful To be recommended for both Winter and Summer stays We have already booked for 2024

Great accommodation. Room was full of charm and character with all the amenities you could want. Even a few extra ones like a bottle of wine and mince pies. Even though the shower room was a little snug it had all the quality items needed. The staff were excellent and the breakfast was superb. We have booked to stay here again next year.

Booked our first weekend away together as a couple and had tickets to Friday Thursford Chris**as show so wanted to be local. Noticed the shepherds hut was available and we can’t believe our luck as this was such a stunning spacious beautifully decorated place to spend the weekend. The attention to detail was second to none other than- everything was immaculately clean, cared for, thought of with cute little signs or pictures that made us smile. It was a home from home and felt extra special as it was tucked away behind the main house with its own garden, outdoor dining table and even a resident model sheep that we named “Ripley”. Every single staff member we spoke to remembered us, chatted and suggested where to try for dinner/visits etc.although you could easily do self catering in the hut do join the main house in the conservatory as it’s delicious and fun to meet other guests too. The food is served fresh and the bacon and sausage are proper servings and clearly locally sourced. We loved the fire, the Denby cups and plates, the helpful guide, the comfy bed and most of all the super friendly welcome and beautiful buildings - we can’t wait to revisit “our hut” and haven’t stopped telling people how lovely it all was since we got home Thank you x
