everything was perfect and we enjoyed every moment , the stuff and Ali was so helpful and kind and he really helped us with all what we needed. The villa was so clean and nice and the house keeper was very friendly, Thank you Ali and all team in le meridian

The private swimming pool was a nice experience. The room service was quick and efficient. The food quality was excellent and it had good variety. The staff were warm and welcoming. Our trip advisor Ali helped us out throughout our stay including reservations and guidance. The place was very clean neat.

An amazing resort in the Maldives. I was pleasantly surprised with the facilities at the resort. The team at the hotel are exceptional. I really couldn’t fault them. To the welcome team with Absam.. chef Assaf… service team manager Jared… service staff Pushpa.. all exceptional. The food is magnificent and the variety is amazing. The quality of the fresh food and the presentation. Jared was kind enough to invite us to the Japanese restaurant which was really good. The beach is good and it’s a really nice resort with lots to do. The only thing letting our trip down was the weather but we still managed to make the best of it. Highly recommended. It’s the people and service that makes a holiday and the Le Méridien didn’t let us down.

A standout feature is the Resort General Manager, who personally greets all guests at every seaplane departure, adding a personal touch to the stay. While the food is satisfactory, there is room for enhancement to match the overall excellence of the resort. Overall, La Meridian Maldives is a fantastic destination for those seeking a picturesque and hospitable retreat.

Booked a trip to Le Meridien Maldives for 4 nights + 1 night in Male City. We travelled in a grp of 2 couples and were coming from Singapore. The resort itself was amazing,after reading the reviews online, i must say the hotel lived up to expectations! The food was stellar, there were 3 restaurants to choose from under half board for dinner. Breakfast spread every morning had variety and change of menus. We did prefer Vella's steak for dinner as opposed to Rivera restaurant. We found ourselves sufficiently full from just breakfast and dinner. Service in the resort was prompt, there were times where buggy was alil slow, but mainly attributed to peak hours like rainy days/checkout period/dinner time. But other than that, it was always on point with very friendly staff all around. There was no "pressure to tip" like other resort reviews but we felt like we wanted to as the staff truly went out of their way to assist us throughout the stay. We did the dolphin tour for 95usd/pax and saw sooo many, it was amazing especially with the sunset backdrop. Our overwater villa was spotless and modern, beds were hard for me but the resort rectified it with duvets. We swam almost daily from our balcony to their reef, saw baby sharkx1, stingrayx1 and turtles x2. Fish and reefs were wonderful, current does get alil strong sometimes but we were able to stand at most parts of the sea, it wasnt very deep (depending on where you choose to swim). Sea plane journey was seamless, we rested at the le meridian lounge while waiting for boarding they had fruits, drinks and snacks. All in all, a wonderful trip. I was thinking it would be a once in a lifetime trip, but we would 100% return!

It was my first time visiting the Maldives. When we got off the seaplane, we were greeted by the hotel staff. Mr. nauf was in charge of the stay, and he carefully guided us around the facility, and he was always very kind and helpful with dinner reservations and any questions we had during our stay, so we were able to spend our time with peace of mind. It was the rainy season, and although the weather forecast said it would rain every day, we had some brief squalls, but there were sunny spells, so we had a great time. This is a recommended spot with a large house reef where you can enjoy snorkeling. I would love to go again. Thank you very much.

We had a great stay at the Le Meredien Maldives, our home away from home for 7 days in April 2024. They made our 25th anniversary extra special. The facilities were fantastic but it was the staff that truly made our stay exceptional. We booked the Sunrise Overwater villa and were upgraded to the Sunset Overwater villas. The hotel sent us a reminder email to pay for the seaplane transfers from the Male airport to the resort. The resort itself looks quite new and is constantly maintained by the staff given the tropical climate. We received an anniversary cake and bottle of wine when we checked into the villa. Everyone was really friendly and staff members took time out to check on us during our meals. At the risk of missing someone, we wanted to recognize these staff members who really went out of our way to make our stay exceptional. We will be back! We had a family trip here. The experience was generally great. The on-water villa is nice. The island is quiet and can see the milky way by naked eyes. The food is nice but a bit expensive. There are a lot of free facilities to use, like for childcare and snorkeling.

Our stay at Le Méridien Hotel in the Maldives was nothing short of delightful. Surrounded by beautiful blue waters and sandy beaches, it was a perfect getaway of working life. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the culinary experience, with our personal highlight being the teppanyaki and experience (albeit somewhat expensive). The spa facilities were equally impressive, providing relaxing massages in a wonderful ambiance. However, while the food and spa exceeded our expectations, we found the service at the pool and reception staff to be somewhat lacking. While friendly, they could have been more attentive to our needs, and at times, we felt a bit neglected, next to the reception messing up our departure schedule. On a brighter note, the music and DJ at the hotel were fantastic. Their selection of tunes perfectly complemented the island setting, and we found ourselves Shazaming quite a few songs to add to our own vacation playlist. Overall, our stay at Le Méridien Hotel was memorable, thanks to its excellent food, luxurious spa, and captivating music. Despite some shortcomings in service, we would gladly return for another retreat in paradise.
