The refrigerator is not working. Has been told the staff. The staff still insist by even come check in the room. They gave me just a bucket of ice.

Mooi hotel, moderne ruime kamers met zicht op de rivier. Ontbijt is ok. Ontvangst was eerder koel maar is vermoedelijk te wijten aan het feit dat de medewerkster weinig of geen Engels sprak

Leuk en gemoedelijk hotel. Alleen ontbijt service verder geen restaurant lunch borrel mogelijkheden. Kamers heerlijk ruim en licht en super uitzicht op de river kwai. Diner hadden we bij goodtimes (daar ook de Tours geregeld) aan de overkant. Via de brug kom je daar. Met tuk tuk (via hotel gereserveerd) stond binnen 5 minuten voor de deur naar wasserette en restaurant zab zab

The reception was well prepared and fast. I got a room on the 3rd floor with a beautiful view on the river and the town on the opposite site.
In The Glory one is not too far from the busy area of Kanchanaburi, but has also quietness around.
Facilities are good, although the dining and breakfast aeea should have arrangements to isolate it from the sometimes windy conditions of the riverside.
Anyway fully recommendable.

Lovely hotel, staff didn’t speak much English but did their upmost to help you. Wouldn’t let me carry my bags, room overlooked the river and close to the tourist attractions.

On the face of it could be a Thai 4* except no lift so rated 3* but it is a bare 3* due to the fact that the mattress is rock hard as are the pillows never experienced anything as bad in the thousands of hotel rooms I have stayed at .Another big negative is the lack of soundproofing between rooms it's like your neighbors are in the room with you! When we arrived in the room no soap or toilet tissue. All in all way overpriced!
