A home like motel with welcoming staff, clean rooms, kitchen facilities. They even have a washing machine with drying function. Internet speed is fast. Easy access to the lake front and city center. Short driving to Huka falls and other scenery spots.

This was the best motel I have ever stayed at. I am very particular about bathrooms and bed when it comes to staying anywhere. This place was fabulous. It was very clean, comfortable bed and it’s at a great location. All the amenities were great. Everything was 10/10.

This was one of the best motels we have ever stayed at. I think it would be better described as a one bedroom apartment, as it had all the facilities, appliances and things you would need to stay there for some time. Very clean and modern, quiet and comfortable. We will stay here again on our next trip!

This place ticked every box! Clean and comfortable & had the perfect extras like a Bose speaker and pod coffee machine. The location was ideal for our stay, it was walking distance to town and central to other activities, the host less checkin was also a bonus.

Clean, well designed, good lighting for reading, 2 huge tvs, - one in living room abd the other in the bedroom, two very comfy chairs, lovely kitchen, good bed, washing machine abd dryer, dishwasher. We can very highly recommend this motel. Only 4 or 5 units so quiet but perfect.

This is now the 3rd time I’ve stayed at the Emotel! Great location in town, very near the lake and a short walk to the cafes and restaurants. Very clean and well equipped units with everything you need when away, nice little outside area too which is lovely to sit out. Would highly recommend!

Top quality place, very clean and tidy with everything you could need provided. I was really impressed with this place, having travelled the length and breadth of NZ the emotel was the best I stayed in. Taupō is also a great place to visit, lots to do on the lake, big town centre with lots of choice and friendly people.

Parking in front of the room, nice calm neighborhood, very clean, suitable for 4+ guests, all necessary facilities, included kitchen, dish washer, washing machine. In walking distance to lakefront, town, restaurants, actractions... unhappy to stay in emoteljust 2 nights.

Only motel ever for us with a low pillow option. All you need in facilities with easy parking in front of room, texted room code e access/security. Most powerful shower head spay you will see if you like that. Friendly and helpful hosts who encourage feed-back
