We had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Taodomus this week. We stayed there for the last two days of a 21 day vacation to southern Italy and Sicily. We couldn’t be happier about the quality of the rooms, all of the small touches like cookies and bottled water in the rooms. We informed the staff that we were celebrating our 45 th wedding anniversary and were given a nice bottle of Prosecco, nuts and a fruit platter. The breakfast could not be better. The food was of the highest quality. In addition to the excellent buffet, you can order from a selection of eggs, omelets, crepes and pancakes. We had a pesto crepe filled with pistachio butter and lemon topped with pistachio bits. Heavenly! The bar and breakfast area is on the top floor overlooking the town and the Ionian Sea. Special thanks to Daniel and Julia for providing such top notch service. We strongly recommend that you stay at the Hotel Taodomus if you are visiting Taormina.

Me and my mum visited the hotel in late October. Before we came we felt so worn out by our daily routine and life in rainy Bristol. We have stayed at the hotel for a week and are leaving tomorrow feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated! The hotel is stunning, with beautiful views of mount Etna, the sea and Taormina. The breakfast is delicious and has a wide selection of tasty food suitable for a variety of dietary requirements. The hotel is in a perfect location as it is central but in a slightly quieter end of the town. We cannot praise the staff enough! They were all so helpful, sweet and welcoming. Daniel gave us lots of great recommendations and we loved going to the beach and visiting the amphitheatre. Maria was also incredibly sweet and helped us work the TV!The reception staff helped us book trips and this was helpful due to our lack of Italian! The ladies at breakfast were also so hospitable!We also came to celebrate my 30th birthday and we honestly couldn’t have had a better time so a big thank you to the staff! :) This was genuinely the best holiday we’ve ever had!

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Taormina. Fantastic location on the Main Street. Everything easily accessible. Great staff and service. Nothing too much trouble. Very comfortable with all the needed amenities. Perfect t hotel offering everything needed for a short break.

We were one of the first guests to stay here after its renovation. This place is immaculate. Very clean and in a perfect location on the Corso. Staff extremely helpful and attentive. They opened the kitchen early for us as we were checking out earlier due to an early flight. Served us breakfast before we left. Would definitely return.

Our cab had to leave us off just before the walled area making it hard to find the hotel. However when calling reception, the woman stepped outside to look for us in the crowd to ensure we found it. She spent time checking us in, explaining everything and showing us to our room. While small, it was tastefully furnished, clean, and functional, and the bed cozy. We requested a bigger room for our second night and they moved us to one without an additional charge, which was nice. The vegetarian breakfasts that were served on the top floor with exceptional views, were delicious with plenty of choices and great service. Overall, the hotel was first rate with modern amenities and environmentally-friendly practices.

My wife and I spent 3 wonderful nights at Hotel Taodomus. It is conveniently located on Corso Umberto, the cobble stone pedestrian-only main street in Taormina that leads from the Porta Messina across the city to the Porta Catania, and it is less than a 10-minute walk from the nearby Porta Catania parking garage. Our room had a distant view of the ocean, was clean, relaxing, and comfortable. After walking along Corso Umberto and viewing the shops and restaurants, I suggest exploring the nearby narrow small streets that are less crowded and very charming. You will find several hidden outstanding places to eat. Hotel Taodomus provides a great breakfast on the upper deck with a splendid view of the ocean. Their staff was pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. I highly recommend.

Very helpful staff. The breakfast was the best we had in all of Sicily. Wonderful homemade items. Great location - quiet even though on the main walkway. Room was lovely. Top level had gorgeous views. I would request a view room next time. Parking is close by although not on the premises.

Very beautiful hotel, modern and classic traditional atmosphere at one. The breakfast was exceptional and, the poached eggs are absolutely recommandable! I recommend the hotel also for the location. I love how clean and comfortable it is, I would have liked more traditional decorations in the room. The service was extremely good. Friendly and helpful!

Started with a detailed email that was so helpful and guided us perfectly. Location is just the best- convenient and perfect for someone that is not able to climb too many stairs. Easy check on process. Staff were all respectful and responsive- they couldn’t have been more concerned. Rooms are immaculate and well appointed. Modern amenities throughout, while still honoring the historic decorative elements of Taormina. Beautiful terrace that you could enjoy for Apertivo time and breakfast. Service was impeccable and consistent. Host gave us great dinner advice - off the tourist path. I would highly recommend to any type of traveler.
