While location to Funicicula and transport is gd, tiredness of old building letting them down. 3rd floor door lock realignment needed, so slamming to shut on every door this level means late return clients wake others, no jug to make early morning drink, no ability to use Eng language on TV, and no dbl cover over twin mattresses leaves a body in troughs or ridges.

In terms of welcome and quality, the hotel is just OK. On the other hand, it's a good price for this expensive location and right beside both the beach and the cable-car that will take you up to old Taormina. The location is great. Visit the expensive hotel opposite to see how the other half live.

worst hotel on our 9 day trip to sicily. lousy service. they write that they speak several languages but in they only speak Italian. in our room it was 30° something they couldn't fix. it was a very dirty shower and we found old nails on the bedding. they did not clean the room again. did not give us a new room. and also did not compensate for the impurities or A/C. lousy hotel. Steer away!!

We had a room on the top floor with amazing sea views..a little dated in decor but still charming...fabulous balcony with loungers and table/chairs...decent breakfast, nothing fancy..location is central and good with beaches either side to walk down steps to..the cable car to take you up to Taormina is located a short walk away and occasionally you share a car with 11 other people which can get crowded and hot..and then the town is very attractive but does get quite hot and busy in July.. although there are plenty of restaurants to easily get a seating with varying priced meals to suit all budgets..would go back to this hotel and location in future..taxi to train station is @ 25-30 euros

This is an old tired hotel that’s seen far better days. The location is good if you want to stay near the sea and near the gondola to Taormina. However it’s on a very busy road in the heart of the tourist area. But it’s a fairly depressing hotel with small poorly decorated and equiped rooms. Parking is available about 200m away in a public car park at 15 Euros per day. Staff are friendly and reasonably helpful. I wouldn’t recommend it or stay there again.

Stayed at Jónic hotel in Mazaro for 3 nights in a deluxe room. Positive: location could not be better, most beautiful beach in the area right outside the door, and 1 min walking from cable car to Taormina. Also get the deluxe room. The view from the terrace is absolutely breathtaking. Tip: they don’t have roomservice but you can take breakfast from the buffet and bring it up to your terrace yourself. Negative: paper thin walls. I could hear the people in the next room speak, and I could even hear their water running in the bathroom. If sleeping in or quiet is a must for you, this is not the place. It is very basic and not luxurious but clean and the staff is friendly. Overall good experience!

Great location- easy walk to the beach and short walk to the cable car to get to the main piazzas in Taormina. Our room was clean, air conditioning worked well and while our terrace didn’t overlook the sea, the garden was nicely maintained. The mattresses were a little firm for my taste but otherwise no complaints. We paid about 85 euros for the night and felt that we got great value for the money.

A very basic hotel, which is in serious need of an upgrade. The decor is very outdated. The shower flooded the bathroom. The breakfast is not great. No fresh fruit - I mean we are in Sicily! Fresh fruit is abundant! Perhaps loose some of the awful sweet store bought pastries and replace with fresh fruit! So much single use plastic🥹- plastic mugs wrapped in plastic, plastic wrapped amenities, bowls of little plastic individual jams and Nutella - that needs to be addressed.

3 stelle. Parcheggio a pagamento. Camera matrimoniale con 2 letti singoli con mobilia datata. Vista incantevole dal terrazzo. Pulizia da migliorare. Cattivo odore al mattino in bagno. Colazione buona. Ottima posizione per raggiungere Taormina attraverso una funivia adiacente. Spiagge con lidi a pagamento.
