Een mooie locatie in het centrum van Taormina en toch zeer rustig gelegen. Vanop het terras een prachtig zicht op de Etna en de zee. Pino en Francesco zijn enorm gastvrij en vriendelijk. De kamers zijn picco bello in orde en het ontbijt “ fantastisch “! Cari Fransesca e Pino, Grazie mille per la vostra ospitalità ! Ci mancano già la tua fantastica colazione e le deliziose torte ! Wij verbleven van zondag 24 april t/m zondag 1 mei in Casa Turchetti. We kwamen de 24e op tijd aan, vanwege een vroege vlucht. Om 11 uur ‘s ochtends werden wij warm welkom geheten door Pino en Francesca. De koffers werden naar de kamer gebracht en we konden meteen inchecken. We hadden een gratis upgrade gekregen naar de suite ipv de oorspronkelijke superior room. Echt fantastisch! Prachtige vloer, een heerlijk bed en een prima badkamer. Iedere ochtend stond er vanaf 08.30 een erg lekker ontbijt voor ons klaar. Vers fruit, zelfgebakken taarten, brood, allerlei soorten beleg (ook zelfgemaakte marmelade, verder veelal streekproducten). Bij het ontbijt werd koffie en verse jus geserveerd. We zaten iedere ochtend op het dakterras, met prachtig uitzicht, en lekker in de zon. De Etna-excursie (aanrader) heeft Pino voor ons geboekt. Ook voorziet hij je graag van allerlei tips over restaurants en bezienswaardigheden. Taormina is een gezellif stadje met enorm veel trappen. Gelukkig zijn wij jong en goed ter been. Wanneer je naar Isola Bella bent geweest, kun je de kabelbaan terugnemen naar het oude centrum. Duurt 3 minuten en kost €3 pp, maar scheelt een enorme klim. Pino en Francesca zijn enorm gastvrij en hebben een prachtige b&b in het centrum van Taormina. Ze vinden het echt belangrijk dat de gasten het naar hun zin hebben. Wij kunnen niet anders dan anderen aanraden hiernaartoe te gaan!

Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad in Casa Turchetti. Het hotel is stijlvol en met aandacht ingericht en de kamers zijn voorzien van alle gemakken (airco, regendouche en een goed bed). De eigenaren zijn zeer gastvrij en betrokken. Ze hebben goede tips m.b.t. restaurants, excursies, strand en bezienswaardigheden en staan constant voor je klaar. Iedere ochtend een heerlijk vers bereid ontbijt met lokale producten op het dakterras (met een prachtig uitzicht op Taormina, de Etna en de zee) en 's avonds voor het diner een drankje. Als je het hotel uitloopt, sta je binnen 50 treden in de prachtige hoofdstraat van Taormina. Het is in augustus erg druk in de stad, maar daarvan merk je in het hotel en op het dakterras weinig. Het strand is iets verder weg, maar daarvoor hebben de eigenaren ook een goede oplossing. Al met al, een absolute aanrader voor iedereen die Sicilië bezoekt.

Mooie locatie in het centrum van Taormina. Bij de eigenaren, Pino en Francesca staat de gastvrijheid zeer hoog in het vaandel. Het ontbijt geserveerd op het dakterras is tot in de puntjes verzorgd. De verse broodjes, streekproducten, huisgemaakte jam, taarten en limoncello zijn zeer smakelijk. Wij hebben genoten, zeker een aanrader! Jeroen en Monique

This accommodation is in the perfect location off of Corso Umberto. This location makes it is easy to access everything in Taormina. Not only is the location perfect but the staff that run this place are some of the most authentic and genuine people. A wife and husband own and run the hotel. They truly want their guests to have the best stay possible. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast that is served daily is delicious and provides a multitude of options. If you’re looking to book a stay, this is the place to be at!

Believe the reviews.... This is one of the best boutique hotels that we have EVER stayed in. The hotel is situated perfectly, right at the centre of Taormina. The rooms are beautifully finished with classy decoration, and lovely touches that retain the building's history. The breakfast is absolutely to die for, with local produce, fruit, and delicious home baked cakes. Oh my goodness... the terrace where breakfast is served is incredible. Stunning coastline, the Greek amphitheatre, Etna smoking, and beautiful hillside behind. I still can't believe how good it was (and Aperol in the evening was equally spectacular, literally drinking in the view). If that wasn't enough, the thing that sets this hotel above all others is the people. Pino and Francesca make you feel like family, and their daughters are so warm and friendly. Also every morning we were greeted by the lovely "Joosy" (I've definitely spelled that wrong). You feel like nothing is a problem and that they would do anything for you. Casa Turchetti is absolutely wonderful and we are so glad we had the good fortune to stay there (my wife and teenage daughter). Please do believe the reviews and try and book there. I can guarantee you won't regret it ;)

My sister and I recently hit the jackpot when we booked our stay at Casa Turchetti! It is truly one of the VERY BEST B&Bs that I’ve stayed at any place in the world- and I’ve stayed at many during the past 50 years! There were so many little touches that made the room, the location, our breakfast and our hosts fabulous! And for fellow celiac-sufferers out there, breakfast (served on the huge terrace overlooking the ocean, the town, and Mt. Etna) was wonderful: bacon and eggs, orange juice, lots of fresh fruit (the Sicilian mango was awesome!), gluten-free toast, cappuccino, and wonderful homemade jams/marmalades (and beautiful pastries for those without celiac). The room had a wonderfully comfortable bed, a little sitting area with couch, lots of storage space, a mini-refrigerator, lovely toiletries, lush bath towels, and bathrobes and slippers! All of the comforts of home were there in this beautiful old structure. Our hosts Flavia and her parents, Pino and Francesca, are a great family and so very pleasant and accommodating. After a few days we felt like we were family! You’ll be very lucky if you can secure a reservation at Casa Turchetti; you won’t be disappointed!

Staying at Casa Turchetti was like being with family. The owners are so warm and welcoming. The room had everything you could possibly need. Breakfast was wonderful and the view from the terrace is spectacular. The location is perfect. I highly recommend this place.

A beautifully restored space run by the nicest couple you could imagine. The location is great. The breakfast is wonderful and served on a terrace with spectacular views. The terrace is also the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine after sightseeing.
