Sun Resort Bandhavgarh

Sun resort, located near Tala gate, is a budget-friendly property in Bandhavgarh. The rooms and toilets are spick and span. The restaurant serves delicious and freshly prepared food. All the staffs are very kind, and generous. The service has been excellent. The team ensured that we get everything that is needed to make us feel comfortable in between the hectic safari schedule.They packed the breakfast before the morning safari.We had multiple tiger sightings in the safari rides,and it was an excellent trip. The ***ager, Mr. Indrapal Singh, is extremely helpful. We had the return train from Beohari at 2.00 am, and the cab was arranged even at the wee hour to ensure safe, and comfortable ride. I thank the whole team of the resort from the bottom of my heart.

I stayed at Sun Resort Bandhavgarh with my four other family members including my parents and child from 18.12.2022 to 21.12.2022. The property is very close (approximately 500 meters away) to the famous Tala gate of the Bandhavgarh Reserve Forest. Bandhavgarh Reserve Forest has three zones to visit viz. Khitauli, Magadhi and Tala and most of the Hotels or Resorts are located near Tala Gate. Apart from that there are very few hotels just one or two at other distant places or near the other zones. So, it is wise to stay near the Tala Gate. And if anyone doesn’t expect 5-star accommodation in this jungle area then Sun Resort is one of the best places to stay. The property offers two types of rooms – AC Deluxe Room and AC Super Deluxe Room. Deluxe rooms are on the ground floor and Super Deluxe Rooms are on the first floor and more spacious than the Deluxe Rooms. We booked Super Deluxe Rooms and stayed at room no. 116 and 117. Super Deluxe rooms 114, and 115 shares a common balcony and so also rooms 116, and 117. From this balcony the inside premise of the resort is visible. There is also a narrow passage joining all these four rooms at the opposite side of the balcony from where the buffer zone is visible though I shouldn’t say the view is great from there. Rooms are spacious, neat and clean and have all the basic amenities. The bathroom is also spacious and fitted with a geyser so that in the winter season hot water is available all the time. Rooms are cleaned every day. In the winter season, they provide a room heater on request for which they billed a nominal amount. The resort also has an in-house restaurant and the food is also very much tasty. Check-in and out are smooth. All the staffs are humble and courteous and very much helpful. In general room service or restaurant, facility starts at 8 a.m. in the morning but if anyone needs tea or light breakfast then that was available before that time. But for that, they should be pre-informed on the earlier day. For example, on the day of the jungle safari, we requested them to serve the tea at 5:30 a.m. and they served that on time. Inside the premise, there is a big lawn and a swimming pool. So, anyone can enjoy leisure time in any of those places. There is provision for the arrangement of a Jeep Safari in the Bandhavgarh National Forest though we do not avail of that because we have made that arrangement in advance. But if anyone wishes then they can talk with them but It is better to do that well in advance otherwise it may be difficult to get the booking. Thus overall, it is a nice stay in the Sun Resort Bandhavgarh and I wish to stay again there.

Nice Resort, good food, Nice pool. Enjoyed the Bandavgarh Tiger reserve as safari jeeps came at punctual time to the resort for pick-up in early morning and afternoon. The Lawn and the swimming pool was great to relax after a exhorted Safari in Summer.

We came to the sun Resort for two night stay, and stay was memorable, food was amazing, all restaurants are well maintained and having beautiful Ambience ,good location clean and comfortable. friendly staff, especially Mr Amit Dubey the best host, they make there best efforts to make you feel like your second home, they arrange tiger safari for us and we got 02 tigers in magadhi zone. best property in Bandhavgarh will visit again soon. wonderful experience....

Good resort . Staff is very cooperative. Food is very nice and tasty. They arrange for pick up and drop till the ticket counter. The garden is very good. They arrange for the bonfire at reasonable rates. The rooms are clean and hot water is available throughout the day.

The property could have been better utilized for space. Other than that hospitality, food, etc is really very good. The staff are very cooperative. The cleanliness of the hotel has been kept at high levels.

Excellent service...Amazing food.they work till 3am-4am at ur service..Service u will get as u want ...best for bachelors and family..second time it was and more joyful...they got tatkal safari tickets also for us wic is very hard to get . Thanks Amit dubey for your cooperation

It was great resort room was clean and good, enjoyed alot in swimming pool. Environment and staff is good. Also, they were helpful according to your requirements and try to provide you with the best they can.
