Shanxi Hotel

The hotel have a great breakfast. Make sure you book with breakfast. But their central air conditioner are not open for the cold one while in my stay. So sad.

Historic hotel located in central Taiyuan. Many food options available within 100m.

Wow -- I had no idea when I booked this that it was a historical building. This is a great complex of buildings with a nicely refurbished interior. The Chinese-style breakfast buffet was good, and the robe was excellent. Check this place out if you're in Taiyuan.

The property is good and better from outside

I found myself having to stay in Taiyuan due to the outbreak preventing me going home. After several phone calls I finally found this hotel that would receive foreign guests. The staff were very polite and I particularly wish to thank the front desk staff and the concierge who helped me with the various paperwork needed when I arrived. The room was very clean, well furnished and maintained. A fruit basket was delivered which I thought was a nice touch. Living so close to Taiyuan it is not somewhere I would usually need to stay but should the need arise again I would not hesitate to do so. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who asks me about a suitable hotel or if you are planning to stay in Taiyuan. The location is very convenient. Lots of food options and things to do nearby. All in all, Shanxi Hotel deserve praise.

先説結論，一個優點和缺點都很明顯的酒店，需要自己提前做好攻略，想清楚自己的需求是啥才不會影響旅行的心情。 這個酒店最大的特色就是距離旅遊景點很近（酒店本身就是景點），周圍不遠就是柳巷鐘樓街，吃住玩方便，酒店的夜景沒得説，很有山西晉商大院的土豪風，再傳10張照片都沒問題。酒店大堂很氣派，入住也快，晉盛樓是酒店主樓，旁邊有個小門刷房卡可以直接去文瀛湖公園。晉福樓是餐廳，價格比外面要高一些。 至於入住條件，可以説是比較老舊的，房間也不大，20平的房間有些狹小，佈局也屬於比較老派的。我這間房瓷盆還是裂的。但服務還可以，給的水也比較多，樓道里也可以自取。早餐品種豐富，確實提供汾酒了，不過頭腦需要單點，和外面的價位一樣。 總結起來這是一個比較老的酒店，服務上已經盡力了，但礙於硬件設施的限制也無法進一步提升，內部需要大裝修了。對於出遊來説，需要提前做好心理預期，才不至於太失望。

從杭州到山西旅行，住上了110歲的山西飯店，感覺很幸福，老飯店的夜景太美了，自助早餐品種挺多，晚上房間有水果、酸奶贈送，大堂有四、五樣飲品，老樓的房間面積有點小，但也温馨！飯店與有六百年歷史的文瀛公園相通，有孫中山、彭真紀念館，拿房卡可免費參觀道教寺院純陽宮，爽歪歪！

酒店確實氣派，地理位置特別好，附近吃飯方便，隔壁是純陽宮，酒店側門通往文瀛公園，然後一路走到柳巷，鐘樓大街，食品街，晉商博物館。貴賓樓房間大些，但是樓層太低，沒有景觀，離路邊小飯店太近，早晚略吵。早飯還要去主樓吃。早飯比較豐盛，一樓全天免費供應咖啡茶水。比較推薦。
