Boutech Jiantan Hotel

Het hotel is redelijk schoon. De locatie is ook erg handig. Maar toen we vertrokken, vroegen we de receptionist om ons te helpen een bedrijfsauto naar Jiufen te bellen. De receptionist zei dat het 18.00 uur was. De chauffeur die in de bus stapte, vertelde ons dat hij slechts 1.200,- in rekening bracht. 😡Is het niet een dienst die een hotel zou moeten hebben om gasten te helpen een taxi te bellen? Brengt u ons nog steeds 600 servicekosten in rekening? Ze hebben het ons niet verteld nadat ze het hadden geaccepteerd⋯⋯😡. Bovendien moet de receptionist hebben samengespannen met de chauffeur en ermee hebben ingestemd ons alleen de berg af te rijden en zei dat Jiufen het voertuig bestuurde. Maar toen we in Jiufen aankwamen, namen bedrijfsvoertuigen en taxi's allemaal foto's de berg op... Vanwege de hevige regen zei de chauffeur dat het 300 euro extra zou kosten om ons naar de B&B te brengen. Wat is dit in hemelsnaam. Het zijn allemaal leugenaars. Ik had opeens een slechte indruk van Taiwan!

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. Conveniently situated, the hotel is a short distance from the MRT station (800 m.), making transportation easy. A mere 10-minute walk will take you to the bustling Shilin Night Market, where an array of local food and interesting items awaits. Additionally, the hotel's bathroom facilities were clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable experience.

Very comfortable stay. The only down side is that breakfast around the location may not be as fantastic.

Very nice hotel located at the heart of Shilin. It has great access to the rest of Taipei thanks to the nearby station. Bus connections are also good and of course it is close to the famous (but overrated) Shilin night market. The rooms themselves are mostly clean but I noticed a few dirty spots here and there. It is quite tech-friendly with a smart toilet, and service is very kind. There is a laundry room (you need 10 NTD coins) and a free parking garage, which I think is a very nice plus.

The staff was really nice & accomodations was super clean & comfortable, not to mentioned that 7-11 & family mart are 2-5mins away making it very convenient. Will definitely book again when I visit Taipei again.

Room was clean, big mirror, nice deco. Lift was ok as I stayed at level 5, no need to wait too long

Booked this hotel based on many positive reviews and tbh is impressed with review saying hotel provides Dyson hair dryer. But actually it is not during our stay. Hmmm, maybe they have changed it? Anyway, we booked a 3 single bedroom. It is cozy and spacious but is end lot room right beside the controller room, there are noise disturbances during midnight for continuous 3 nights. Not too close to the town, about 15mins distance to MRT (crossing along Shilin night market) and bus station depending which line you’re heading. Had breakfast at Louisa coffee, attaching with the hotel which is very convenient for quick bite before our day start; but it took quite long to prepare 3 sandwiches. There are 2 lifts and is also take quite some waiting time during the peak. Despite disappoin**ent at first and noise, overall is clean and friendly front desk service.

New hotel with smart devices in the room. The toilet bowl is so high tech that it keep flushing water whenever it scanned movement. Location is convenient. 10min walk to Jiantan MRT and Shi Lin Night Market. There are good local food for breakfast, beef noodle stall, Family Mart and 7-eleven all within walking distance, abt 5min. Pricing is reasonable too.

Nice experience. Good location. Safe n clean.
