Dublin Airport

Very clean, friendly & professional staff, very comfortable room, quiet. Huge fluffy bath towel — but no washcloths? Shuttle charge E2.50. Bar service is open outside the restaurant, which has limited hours & small menu ( if you like pancakes or eggs benedict, for example, not on menu ) also doesn’t open for dinner until 6pm, rather inconvenient, and surpringly small dinner menu. Despite that, restaurant is very attractive, super clean, quiet, and table service was very professional . Esquires Coffee/ Cafe is attached but not directly accessible from inside hotel— good sandwiches, salad, soup but also extremely noisy ( from the acoustics) & hard to have a conversation. Would stay again— great night’s sleep.

We needed a hotel near the airport for an early flight. The hotel cost 1/2 the price of the hotels closer to the airport. It is only a 5 minute taxi or 2 minute bus ride from the terminals. All we needed were clean beds and a shower in the morning. That’s what we got. They must have problems with people taking things. The blow dryer and iron were attached to the room to prevent someone taking the. That wa kind of weird.

Nos trataron muy bien, habitaciones amplias y aseadas. Hubo una confusión con la reserva y sólo teníamos una habitación, pero lo arreglaron en el momento.

Restaurant doesn't open until 6pm which is problematic for travelers like myself who have been on buses, airplanes all day since 6 am and hungry when checking in at 4pm. Paid 15 euros for a hamburger without high expectations however this one was pretty tasteless ( hamburger like leather and bacon was not fried) . Service at bar substandard - bartender may have been in training however I was completely ignored by both him and his mentor ...it looked like they were more interested in mechanics of coffee machine - a simple "we'll be with you in a moment" would have sufficed as acknowledgment that I was sitting there ( and it was pretty obvious they knew I was there )but waited a full 10minutes before receiving service. Key to room also turns on master switch for electricity and since you only get one key, when you leave and need to pull the key out, room goes dark and electrical devices not charged for time you are away from room. You have to pay for shuttle to airport - ( which is okay since less than taxi I guess) but no one tells you shuttle only accepts cash of which I had none and driver would not allow me on bus- I went to front desk to see if I could get cash but they don't make this available - fortunately hotel manager got driver to let me on without cash payment so I could get to airport in time. Would have appreciated soap with shower rather than just body gel provided.

Gut gelegen für einen frühen Start am Flughafen (7min mit dem Shuttle) und einen Besuch in der Stadt Dublin (ca 40 min mit dem Bus für 2.60 Euro). Sehr angenehm war das hilfsbereite Personal.

Airport hotel is 2 miles away and I arrived at 23:00 I booked it to be close to airport so that wasn’t useful. When I got to hotel police were there. Also the booking said me and my wife Mrs pether and I’m not married so that was wrong. They have a shuttle bus to the airport but no details of when it runs and it was parked at the hotel so how is that useful when people are still coming all night long from the airport The room was clean enough £80 or €91 euro seems a lot though for a very basic hotel

The hospitality is not bad at all.
