Roosje van de Kaap is een prachtig aangelegd en mooi onderhouden geheel van losstaande huisjes in oudhollandse sfeer. De eigenaren en medewerkers zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Heerlijk zwembad. Top.

* mooie grote propere kamer * goede WiFi * lekker ontbijt * vriendelijk personeel * mooie gezellig centrale plaats rond het zwembad * schommel voor de kindjes * prachtige tuin * omgeven door verschillende leuke restaurantjes en koffie-bars

Boutique Hotel Roosje van de Kaap is a beautiful complex of building in cap holländisch style. A beautiful garden, own terrace in front, clean swimming pool, nice welcoming.When we arrived there was thunder and lightning with heavy rain. But the apartment was cosy and we chilled in the comfortable big bed.The breakfast was good, unfortunately, the restaurant is closed.So we had to run through the pouring rain to a good restaurant near by.

Swellendam was a surprise. Day one we woke up late for breakfast, the Ladies popped down to remind us they would wait for us. Fantastic caring service. On leaving after breakfast, which was excellent, the receptionist made recommendations, one of which was the Spa next door. We chose to wait a day or two but made great friends at the Spa just going into book. Thereafter we walked the town, went into various museums, found execellent eateries all relaxed, good wholesome food and the Swellenberg Draft Beer, rates with the best. On one of the side roads we found a pottery expo, went in, everything open and laid out , with a sign on the door, we out, enjoy yourself and here is our number if you want anything. That made the trip, friendly people, safe environs, good food and soo much history. Will definitely stop off in Swellendam again.

We had an absolute amazing time at Roosje van de Kaap. The friendliness of te staff, the beautiful clean rooms, the awesome pools and delicious breakfast all made the stay one of the best memories of our holiday! Will stay there again, for sure!!!!!

We had a lovely stay and found the owners and staff welcoming and professional. Our room was very nice and opened onto the garden and swimming pool area. we were referred to a wonderful French Restaurant for dinner. We would recommend this as a stopover, even for a couple of days.

This is our second visit to Roosje van de Kaap and also this time a wonderful time. We love the accommodation and the location. Walking distance from some restaurants or just a short taxi ride to other. A nice pool to spend the day. Also a very nice Spa next door I can sincerely recommend.

We had a comfortable room which opened onto lovely gardens with a beautiful swimming pool, which my wife was glad to use after a long drive there. We stayed for just one night but wished it could have been longer. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and booked us a table for dinner at an excellent restaurant nearby. The hotel was close to many cafes and restaurants and other amenities, all within easy walking distance. Breakfast was very good and more than adequate. We were able to park just outside the room. We would happily stay there if we returned to Swellendam.

Perfect for a stop over on your way east of Cape Town, maybe for a safari, or for a few days stay. Nice restaurants in the town and the hotel itself is lovely with lovely staff and great breakfast. Plus a picturesque and quiet pool area.
