Een perfecte ervaring in het restaurant! Wij hebben enorm genoten van de heerlijke gerechten en de fantastische bediening. We kregen op het laatste moment nog een tafel! Bedankt voor de fijne avond. Rosa en John

Prachtig koloniaal gebouw op een mooi locatie net buiten Swellendam. Luxe en ruime kamer en verzorging; 's avonds open haard aansteken en kruik in bed. Uitstekend diner en ontbijt (3 gangen!) Vriendelijk en gastvrij personeel, alles om je thuis te laten voelen.

Een locatie waar Hospitality met een hoofdletter geschreven mag worden! Heel goed ontbijt,attent personeel. Eigenares had al een preboeking voor ons gemaakt in een goed restaurant omdat hun eigen restaurant gesloten was. Kruik in bed omdat het erg koud was zo rond vriespunt. Mooie ruime kamer met open haard en zeer ruime badkamer. Zeker aan te bevelen.

Schoone Oordt is een prachtig hotel, in alle opzichten. Het hoofdgebouw met daarin het restaurant is heel sfeervol en mooi en dat geldt ook voor de kamers en badkamers, die zeer ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien zijn. Ook de tuin met het fijne zwembad is erg mooi. Het diner is van culinair niveau, qua gerechten en qua presentatie, de wijn uitstekend en het ontbijt met z'n 3-gangen keuzemenu overheerlijk. Pure verwennerij. De gastvrouw en gastheer zijn erg leuke mensen die samen met hun staf zorgen voor een geweldig verbllijf op top niveau. Bij de volgende reis naar Zuid-Afrika komen wij hier zeker terug!

Sfeervol hotel, met mooie kamers Zeer vriendelijk personeel! Heerlijk gezeten op de veranda en genoten van een high tea met verse scones De ontbijtruimte is mooi licht en het ontbijt was heerlijk!! Dank voor een te kort verblijf Een echte aanrader als je in swellendam wilt overnachten.

We had a wonderful evening at this evening during our stop in Swellendam. Everything was perfect from the spacious and well-appointed rooms, to beautiful common space, delicious meals and attentive staff. It was Thanksgiving and the perfect place for us to enjoy a lovely stay without our family. Prior to leaving we saw that even our car had been washed. The inn has been meticulously renovated and is a must visit.

Beautiful, cosy and warm family hotel. Food was superb, especially breakfast which was four course meal! Kids loved swimming pool and fish and my older son said he had best sleep ever (and he doesn’t sleep much). Staff were incredibly friendly and professional going out of their way to help my husband who had upset stomach. Facilities were great and we really enjoyed our stay, we only wish we stayed longer. Oh, and complimentary car wash was so needed! Coming back from game reserve our car was very dirty and it was spotless by the time we got up. Thank you all!

We stayed one night to break a journey and wish we could have stayed longer. The family room was amazing. The kids were so excited by bunk beds and also by the little kids robes and sink in the bathroom! It was an amazing house, with beautiful space, and lovely guys working there. We were devastated the restaurant was shut the night we stayed and, once we had breakfast, were even more sad to have missed dinner. Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had, 3 courses and each one just incredible. Even the “full English” was something we’d never tried before, just amazing, and the chef was absolutely lovely. Couldn’t recommend highly enough

One of the best places we have stayed at in Africa, food was simply sensational, great room, wonderful staff. Lovely host (Alison). Altogether splendid. The gardens are well maintained and we even got a complimentary car wash prior to leaving. Highly recommended.
