We had booked this hotel through @agoda as they had a deal just a day before our planned visit. We were attracted by the hotel brand name as I have previously stayed in Clarks Inn in various cities, hosted company events. This time the hotel was a complete let down. The only positive that I can think off is the hotels location. The hotel check in experience: I would give 0 stars to this process. we had to wait for 50 minutes fo our check as the rooms were not ready. The check in tume was 2 pm and we had reached the hotel by 1: 45 pm. The best part is that there were only 2 families that had come before us. I fail to understand why rooms were not ready when had a pre booking. Secondly during the long wait they did not even offer us complimentary water or cold beverage. Water was offered when we had asked for it. The hotel room: Again 1 star . Inspite of waiting 1 hour for checknin, the room had a layer of dust on the tables, linen had stains, bathroom has the stink of disuse , their taps, faucets were rusted. , shower was not clogged. The room was of a descent size but again it was poorly lit. This was not the experience for which I paid 7K. Now since the hotel was full and we did not want to again look for an accomodation, justnfor 1 day, we played holi, slept for a while and left by mid night as staying there was beyond the limits of our patience. This decision was also good because even at 1 am, our bathrooms taps had run dry. This is not the experience that I had previously with Clarks inn.
