HI Hotels Imperial Resort - Ultra All Inclusive

Overall a nice experience

un très bon endroit pour se détendre. proche de la rue et bien desservi. hôtel en bon état, même si la nourriture pourrait être meilleure. Je le recommande à tout le monde comme base. Beaucoup d'attractions, de bonnes piscines et surtout - très proche de la mer et de la plage !

This was my second trip to Bulgaria. Last time i stayed at a small family hotel. Hotel was very clean and the staff were constantly sweeping up, mopping and cleaning all parts if hotel. There was a language barrier but staff were very helpful. Rooms are spacious and lovely bathrooms with powerful showers. Shower gel and hand soap is provided. My towels were changed every day and sheets changed once in the week I was there. There is plenty of food to choose from, including fresh pizzas and donuts at the outside snack bar. With lunch and dinner there is all soft drinks, beer and wine on tap. There are two bars, one in the lobby and one at the snack bar. There are 3 pools including an indoor one in the spa. Plenty of play facilities for kids also kids club. The resort have their own taxis outside the hotel, but bus stops are just around the corner for Sunny Beach and Nessebar. 2 levs any distance. Definitely value for money at this hotel.

Very ignorant at the hotel the ladies who do the cleaning always complain in other languages we can’t understand and treat everyone very arrogant. at reception they are not a bit helpful. Also you nearly have to beg for extra towels or toilet rolls. Food was not nice .pizza had mold and chicken was raw do not recommend

We visited imperial hotel, as a family including kids aged from 17-4 years of age. This was our first ever time in Bulgaria, as we usually visit Turkey so we were very apprehensive as to what to expect. The hotel is lovely, rooms are perfect we had the deluxe rooms they were very spacious, bed comfortable, fridge and kettle in the rooms with a bottle of water provided on arrival and coffee making facilities too. Showers are nice and powerful. Towels were changed regularly all you have to do to get them changed is leave them on the floor in the bathroom and the maids will do this when cleaning your room. Only downfall we had was air conditioning is not very powerful, but that did not matter considering the time of year and the weather not being the hottest but I do feel this could be a problem in the summer heat. The food is vast and variable. We as a family never went hungry, breakfast consisted of bacon (not proper English but equally ok), Sausage, eggs (scrambled, fried, boiled), beans, French toast. pancakes, cereals, breads, chocolate spreads, jams, marmalade, honey, cheeses, ham, salads, croissants, pastries and cakes. Snacks - fresh made pizzas, sausages, hot dogs, burgers, chips, salads, pasta, doughnuts, pancakes, ice creams. Dinner- different dishes usually made from chicken, pork, lamb, fresh salads, potatoes, chips, fish, cakes and items previously mentioned. Lunch- similar to dinner with added extras on there, including pizzas and pastas outside stone baked infront of you. Late night snack- this wasn’t as good, usually only ham, cheese, bread, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, fruits, yoghurt biscuits. One night we attended and all the ham was gone and not replenished and they had no intention of this, but really this isn’t a great issue given it is only a snack. Coffee machines should have been on though, access to spoons for yoghurts too as we didn’t see any. We also felt if some hard boiled eggs were added this would give more choice. But really it’s minor given the choices at all other times. Drinks wise- cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks, juices, spirits including captain morgans rum, larger, wine (white/red) all included Staff wise they didn’t tend to go out of their way to speak with guests but were always very pleasant when approached and always tried to be helpful, the cleaning staff were lovely always cleaned ur tables with a smile. Indoor pool is a little cold but nothing compared to the ice bath that is the outdoor pool 😂. Even has a jacuzzi. They do have chargeable items, such as sauna, spa facilities. They also give you a list on arrival of times for meals etc, entertainment we didn’t attend much tbh so I cannot comment on this. They also have rules and chargeable items on things such as if you use a towel at the pool or beach and lost this, iron can be hired so can towels, this is explained in the paper given at check in. Beach is less than five mins walk from the back of hotel past pool bar and sports bar and is lovely

We came out of season (1st May) so it was nice and quiet so I can't say what the hotel would be like at full capacity. It got busier as the week went on and i can imagine at full capacity it would feel too busy. Over all it was good value for money but if I came again I wouldn't come at the beginning of May as there wasn't much open in town and no excursions etc were running yet. Bad points THE HOTEL IS A TRAGEDY WAITING TO HAPPEN. The doors to the fire exits are all locked. Locked as in you need a key to open them. If there was a fire, people wouldn't be able to get out. The guy on the lobby bar did an excellent job but he ran that bar on his own and he worked 12 hour shifts. Its a busy bar and needs at least 2 people working it. No bath just shower. They didn't replenish the water in the room just coffee. No milk/ coffee whitener in rooms. The hotels use of Single use plastics needs highlighting as all outside drinks are served in single use plastic cups. This is a massive stain on the environment. Not enough coffee machines in the dining room so there were always massive queues. If it rains there isn't much to do. The jacuzzi wasn't hot, same temperature as the pool. Good points The hotel staff were great Room was a good size, we got a sea view room which was well worth spending a little more for. Good shower. Cleaning staff were lovely. The guy on the lobby bar (with a flower tattoo on his hand) is a hero, he did an amazing job. Good choice of food and there was always something I could eat. If in doubt the fresh pizza was great.

Where to begin? Check in faultless arrived and checked in straight away as room was ready. The room itself was in the main building on 7th floor. The room was huge with large balcony and lucky to see beautiful sunsets every night. Room cleaned daily and spotless. Food was outstanding no 2 days were the same as they had themed nights Greek, Italian, Arabic etc. Breakfast was the same every day but lots to choose from full English, continental, toast, cereal fruit and yoghurt plenty for fussy eaters, although more toasters and coffee machine would be better. Fresh bread baked every day and the breadman (what we nicknamed him) was constantly working. The A La Cart meal is a defo, service was spot on. The outside snack area provides burgers, pizza, chips, salad, cakes and freshly cooked donuts and the violet icecream is to die for! something for everyone. Facilities on site are outstanding 2 outdoor pools, splash pool and park for kids, indoor pool and spar also a games room and the beach a 5 minute walk away. There was kids entertainment every night so if you have little ones they will love it. There are bars inside and outside, Jordan who ran the outside bar is amazing how he remembers everyone's drink is mind boggling! you order once and he remembers for the rest of the week. Jordan you do and absolute fantastic job. Alexander the hotel manager is a top bloke! nothing is too much trouble he really cares about his customers be it advice on where to go for days out to general advice on the area. I like the fact that the hotel employs people that have disabilities (see the ability not the disability). I would recommend using the local bus service to get to Nessebar and Sunny Beach as it only cost 2 lev (about £1) as the land train vmcost 6 Lev on way, also if using taxis agree on price before you get in the taxi! Would I recommend this hotel? Most definitely! Would I return to this hotel? Most definitely! Overall I would like to thank the staff at HI Hotels Imperial Resort for making my first visit to Bulgaria unforgettable

Lovely hotel with excellent manager, very welcoming. Most of the staff excellent and although a language barrier with limited English still had a smile. Excellent housekeeping room very clean and serviced every day Food selection very good albeit some of it cold - nobody likes cold chips or cold fried eggs! Variety and displays were excellent Lovely clean well maintained pool - didn’t venture in as it was too cold for me Loved the A La Carte Restaurants - service was excellent Visited Nessebar (unesco protected city) several times as we loved it Overall think this hotel offers excellent value for money and would recommend to others especially families. Only down side for me - some guests felt they needed to consume the cost of their holiday in alcohol and then spoil it for others

Have been twice to the Imperial Hotel. Absolutely brilliant. Most of the staff remember me and make you feel very welcome. Hotel clean, Food - so much to choose from (and I am fussy) but ate plenty. Bar staff are brilliant and work so hard. Definitely going again, my third visit.
