Hotel Eminent

Terrible hotel, even worse service. Chaos, arrogant staff and bad food. We cannot recommend any service of this hotel. At first everything was fine but then everything started to go wrong. The worst was the attitude of all the staff, they have no detail for crisis thinking.

Stayed here for the 4th time from Aug 8-28, 2022 while visiting family living 10 mins. away. As expected, the room was clean, airy, good air conditioning, spacious well-lit bathroom, with a bathtub, and clean towels. I asked for a pillow top mattress and a second pillow and got it. No worries. If you needed anything, you just asked. The staff was the best! Eera, Katka, Susan, Lucy, and especially Janka Martinkovičová, who literally runs the place. Gracious, super efficient, caring with good customer interaction skills. She cannot do enough to make the guests happy and if she is not the Manager, she sure should be. Breakfast was good. Just what I liked. Scrambled eggs, sausage, and bacon with all kinds of yummy bread and rolls, and cheesecake. Great location. Close to the church and the park where I would frequently walk, close to the bus stop if you wanted to go to Bratislava, on a small street with a walk-in clinic, pharmacy, grocery stores, nail and hair salons, etc. A 20-minute bus ride takes you to two large shopping malls. Although tipping is not the norm as it is in North America, 1 or 2 Euros to the room maid and restaurant staff was much appreciated. This is a small hotel with about 48 rooms and is always busy so booking ahead is recommended. There is a restaurant in the hotel which sadly was only open 1 or 2 days a week, but open for coffee/tea/alcohol during the day, and a bowling alley. Love this little hotel and recommend it highly for its good service, location, and cleanliness. Already planning my next stay in the spring of 2023. Als großer Fan vom Krautfest in Stupava habe ich mich heuer dazu entschlossen ein Zimmer in der Stadt zu buche. So bin ich am 15.August dieses Jahres persönlich angereist um dieses von 07.-08.10.23 zu buchen. Leider habe ich nicht vorher angerufen, ich dachte mir, was kann schon schief gehen, ich habe ja der Dame an der Reseption meine Karte übergeben und sie hat mir versichert das alles in Ordnung geht. Bei meiner Ankunft gestern den 07.10.23 Musste ich zunächst einmal feststellen das kein Parkplatz für mich mehr frei war. Bei der Parkplatz suche, wurde ich klarer weise erst viele Gassen weiter erfolgreich. Nachdem ich das Fahrzeug abgestellt hatte , machte ich mich gleich auf dem Weg zum Hotel um nichts zu versäumen.. Leider hat man mir an der Reseption mitgeteilt das für mich keine Buchung vorliegt und für eine Nacht ohnehin keine Möglichkeit besteht. Ich habe daraufhin umgehend das Fest und die Stadt Richtung Heimat verlassen.
