1786 the Limestone Inn

This is the most impressive B & B set in the quiet town of Strasburg. The historic charming home which was beautifully decorated and even has a library! Also, has multiple sitting rooms, the nicest hosts Denise and Rick. Plus, a beautiful outdoor garden to enjoy too. I've stayed in many B & B's including in England and the Limestone's breakfast were gourmet!! And different everyday from mini peach pancakes to spinach quiche and the cherry pudding warm cake, fresh fruits ......!!! It was so wonderful I stayed 3 more nights!! Also, Denise told me about the Herr Chip Factory and what a fun tour that was!!!!

Our first time at a B&B. We cannot say enough about our stay at 1786 The Limestone Inn. Denise and Rick were the most gracious hosts. The Inn is just what you would expect in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. So inviting with a fireplace in almost every room. We stayed in The Doc Tinney’s Room. Large room with a fireplace and very comfortable bed! To stroll down the street is definitely like going back in time. We loved viewing all of the old homes. They have antique shops an ice cream shop and a great pub. Rick is a great tour guide and some very interesting stories about the area, Which helped us plan our days. The breakfast was absolutely unbelievable each day! How about a two course meal for your breakfast? Denise and Rick are very aware of their guest and ask everyone if there is any food allergies or problems. I do not see how any B&B can ever top our experience of staying at the 1786 The limestone Inn. Very happy guests, Tina and Robert Morin. May 13-15, 2024

Very comfortable beds and the breakfasts were excellent. Rick and Denise were super hosts and provided for every need. The outside gardens are beautiful and the shady table and chairs were a welcome reprieve from a very hot day. Guests have a common refrigerator (stocked) and tea service.

We've been to Lancaster several times, but this was our first time staying at the 1786 Limestone Inn. Can't wait to go back! Innkeepers Denise and Rick welcomed us and immediately made us feel at home. We love historic places and homes and the Inn was perfect. Great location, cozy and lovingly maintained.

My husband and mother had never been to a B&B before so they were a bit skeptical when I suggested one. After this visit they are no longer skeptical .The owners were gracious and accommodating. They gave us wonderful suggestions on where to visit and things to do. The inn was beautiful and comfortable. The fireplaces were warm and inviting and so were the deep clawfoot tubs! Beautiful quilts adorned the beds and the breakfast was AMAZING! I throughly enjoyed our time there and can’t wait to return.

My daughter and I stayed at the Limestone Inn during a getaway in Lancaster Co. Not just a place to stay, the Inn could be a destination all on its own. Every room was furnished comfortably and in period. The beds were particularly comfortable. Fireplace in every room. Lovely gathering rooms. The hosts were warm and could provide a good bit of history of not only the house, but of Strasburg as well. The breakfast was Outstanding! I would go back just for the breakfast! I will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Limestone Inn. The owners are wonderful people and made us feel welcome. Highly recommend this place! The rooms were comfortable and inviting and you won't find a better breakfast anywhere!

This was by far the best B&B that my wife and I have ever stayed! Rick and Denise went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The breakfasts were something like out of a culinary show (both good looking and tasted wonderful), the house was cozy and inviting, the bedrooms were comfortable, etc. I could go on and on! We will definitely be going there again and will also recommend it to our friends.
