Shaba Boutique Hotel

Staff was nice and the breakfast buffet had the largest variety of delicious foods (incl. some local stuff). Rooms where clean and neat. All in the center. The price was excellent as well, we enjoyed our stay. As we flew back home in the evening we could use a shower and get ready for the flight.

Delicious breakfast, fresh and clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff The location is excellent, 7 minutes walk to the pier. Surrounding the hotel are full of souvenir shops, markets (Spicy, vegetables and fish) and restaurants. Safe, can walk at night For women, do not walk alone.

Amazing amazing amazing! They assisted us with a very late check in which we’re grateful for. Great value for money with clean & comfortable amenities. Friendliest staff ever! Felt right at home and so welcomed. Would stay again when in stone town.

The hotel is an oasis of tranquility in the bustling heart of Stone Town. It’s the perfect place to stay to give you easy access to everything the area has to offer. It’s small, but very well presented, with traditional decor, heavy wooden furniture and doors, but with air-con and ceiling fans in all the right places. Breakfast is excellent with a wide range of local and traditional fare, fruits, juices, teas and coffee. Bianca and her team will do anything to make your stay more enjoyable. I cannot rate Shaba Boutique Hotel highly enough and would recommend anyone planning to visit Zanzibar to stay there.

Lovely clean authentic small hotel in the centre, great brekkie, cases can be left if you want to go for a wander and a complimentary shower room to use which was so handy as I felt hot and grubby before setting off to the airport, lovely Swahili rooftop restaurant round the corner.

Earlier this week we stayed one night in Shaba Boutique Hotel and we absolutely loved it! The place is beautifully decorated, our room was spacious and well-equipped, and the breakfast was abundant and tasty. Moreover, the location is nicely central to the various sites and restaurants we wanted to visit, which allowed us to make occasional resting stops to freshen up amid the Zanzibar heat. Finally, the staff was helpful in many ways which made our visit to Stone Town as good as could be :)

Beautiful little hotel in a great location. Only a few minutes walk to the beach area and many attractions. The AC was very effective although very hot outside. The staff was super helpful and the breakfasts were delicious! Will definitely recommend this to any visitor in Stone Town.
