Super stay at Osmine. Room & restaurant lovely. Food amazing & staff good. Only negatives were we felt the 'All Inclusive Booze' was bashed out by staff reluctantly ie) thrown together no care asthough they frowned on it but they might have experienced difficult customers so understable. Think Gin & TONIC was pretty much always Gin & LEMONADE!&in small glass sometimes no ice or lemon! Wines tasted ok but red being cold a bit bitter unless added orange juice to make a Sangria! These are silly small things Walked 30min around stunning water out of hotel & left to pick up no.12 bus to Dubrovnik at €3.70 each single & 30min ride. Downloaded LIBERTAS APP for times&location back. No 15 bus cancelled from Dubrovnik then it delayed so we waited 90min so 12 seems most reliable & cheaper than the €25 each in taxi from hotel & they need 6 passengers to able to go so you pop your name down & wait! Swimming pool very small but took sunbeds by sea&got a free parasol each from lovely guy in office by bar who hands them out aswell as bikes&kayaks ⛱️ Swam in the beautiful clear waters aswell as took free kayak out for free hour.‍♀️ Cycled for an hour free too out of hotel & left to find bus stop for next days trip! Again really fun & good bikes. Stunning views at Osmine & well worth a visit but its 30min walk as I say to a tiny town out the hotel&left. On day 1 asked for more pillows & a second duvet as found theres small & was delivered very quick so very comfy stay

Visited last week reading the reviews on this hotel here are ours 1. Great room spacious clean fab sea view but we paid for that. 2. Food is great lots of variety for all and hot. 3. Wine on tap white wine is good can't speak about red we don't drink it. 4. Rooms cleaned every day and fresh towels 5. Cleaners cleaning everything all day long. 6. Bikes,Pedalos, free plenty for all. 7. Slano 30 mins walk or 10 min bike ride. 8. Beautifull walk on the costal Road very few cars. 9. Hotel is big a bit of a strange layout but as shown in brochure its big. Only negative feedback is entertainment bit not so entertaining. Staff on reception not the most forthcoming bit miserable in all honesty but you don't really need reception only to book an excursion CASH ONLY........ excursions with JET2 you have to get to dubrovnik really its about 1.30 hrs away But this place is beautifull but I wouldn't really recommend it for kids there isn't much for them. We have just come back from a weeks stay at osmine, I have mixed reviews on this and wanted to add some tips as it’s things we wish we knew before going. Firstly the views are breathtaking and the water is crystal clear, the use of kayaks, bikes, pedalos and paddleboard is such a great addition. I really enjoyed the food full of taste and something for everyone couldn’t fault at all, meal times are quite short 2 hour intervals but once you’re in the rhythm it’s not too bad. Beware if you are finishing desert and it’s 9.05 (finishes at 9) we had a waiter come up to us a couple of times and just said FINISH. Suffice to say was a bit taken back by it considering we were finishing desert and wasn’t trying to get more food! We had a few issues with our room and our aircon wasn’t working our first night, we had to sleep with it being 27 degrees in the room! Guy didn’t come to fix until next day asked us for a time and never came when we spoke to reception all we got was he will come but can’t give you a time - would’ve been okay if they didn’t ask us for a time and made us wait! We also had haywire electrics that never got sorted. Other than that the rooms are quite pleasant but be prepared to walk ALOT. I read the reviews prior and didn’t understand until we got there! I wouldn’t recommend at all for any one who struggles with walking and uneven ground. We did not like the drinks at all, there is no gin and tonic but they give you Gin and soda water- trust me give it a miss! Beer was okay and personally wine wasn’t nice but this is down to personal taste. Entertainment does lack unfortunately especially in the daytime but seems like it was great for the kids. It’s true there is nothing around so if you like to explore and do things like we do it is not the place for it, we did a couple of excursions which pick you up at the hotel (Dubrovnik and islands) I would definitely recommend! Had such a good time and was nice to explore! All in all if you want PURE relaxation (providing your rooms okay) then this is the place if you like to switch it up in the evenings and go out then definitely avoid. This isn’t because of the hotel just due to the location, definitely would recommend renting the bikes but slano is tiny with only 2 restaurants and ice cream/desserts place and 2 little supermarkets. I do apologise for the looong post like I say down to what you want in a holiday and it is definitely worth visiting solely for the sea and the view! TIPS I WISH WE KNEW: take a tumbler or empty water bottles they do not give you one in the mini fridge (comes empty) and you have to get this filled at the bar in glasses, trust me trying to carry 6 glasses is not easy! There is no self serve water! Also bring a spare especially if you want to sit on the beach because the beer is half pints and it will save you a little rather than constantly walking to the bar. Bring water shoes or buy them at the hotel shop (10€) crocs do not meet the cut and a couple of people cut

My husband and I have just returned from an 8 night stay at Hotel Osmine and I honestly can say we had the best time. Both my husband and I found this hotel to be a real hidden gem! Whilst the location is in the middle of nowhere that’s exactly what we wanted for our trip away and the views from the hotel are breathtaking. The beds and pillows in the hotel were so comfy and the food was delicious, whilst there isn’t a huge selection of foods, they cater for everyone with fresh fish, meats, pasta dishes, vegetables and fruits.. We were rather anxious after reading the negative reviews but honestly can say that the negative reviews are slightly over the top! People were complaining about the drinks, but we found them to be fine. Infact they serve the most delicious pear, blueberry, cherry and honey liquor that I picked myself up a bottle of the pear one at the airport I loved it that much. My husband loved the beer they served on tap also. I’m not a beer drinker, but tried it as a shandy and it was lovely. The only advice I would give is if you wish to go in the sea on the private bay, make sure you take some wet shoes, or buy them from the hotel shop for 10€ the ground isn’t sand it’s more of stone and shingle and is very sharp to walk bare foot, (the waters are crystal clear) and we thoroughly enjoyed taking out the kayaks free of charge for one hour. The hotel also have their own selection of bikes you can use for one hour. If you follow the bay all the way around into Slano village there are a few local mini markets about a 10 minute bike ride away. We also stopped off at a little place called bite bay which sold the most delicious gelato. If you’re looking for a holiday where you have lots of plans this maybe isn’t for you as it is quite isolated and most of the excursions you can book often pick you up from Debrovnik. The hotel do have 3 seperate boat trips they put on, one for €40 each that takes you to Dubrovnik where you have 3 hours to explore, one sunset cruise in the evening and another where you can stop off at the various islands. We done the Dubrovnik boat tour, and whilst it took a long time on the boat to get there and back Dubrovnik itself was beautiful.. whilst you are there you can walk the walls for €35 each and take the cable cart up the top and enjoy the view for €27. All in all this was such a relaxing holiday. We would definitely come back here as it’s stunning!

we arrived in Croatia and transfers were about 40 mins to hotel very scenic drive, Hotel is clean big rooms and the bonus is the view stunning, so we relaxed the first 2 days as we knew the hotel was a little secluded but that's what we wanted to unwind, food was ok choice for all and the drinks were good wine was good, we then booked our trips and visited Dubrovnik City that was amazing and only 30 mins from Hotel, we also took a day trip to one of the islands that was again nice way to see Croatia and get a feel the sea was crystal clear everywhere and the people were nice we had 6 days in total on this trip and really enjoyed Croatia and the hotel location for us was perfect as the hotels in the city were not on the beach

We were quite anxious after booking this hotel with some of the negative comments which I think are over the top. The scenery is amazing. Plenty to do for a week with trips direct from the hotel and a lovely 30min walk into Slano with a few bars and restaurants. Food was lovely and fresh. Unless you enjoy pizza, fries and fish fingers you will be disappointed. Our six year old loved the sea really safe, Crystal clear and shallow. If there was one thing to improve is the drinks, beer and white wine ok But generally not very nice. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back

When we booked this hotel with an agent we were told it’s just outside Dubrovnik, it’s NOT! A good 30 minute walk to Slano wait for a bus that comes when it likes or take the hotel shuttle at a rip off price of €25pp. Whilst the hotel is situated in a pretty bay there is nothing there but the hotel. Rooms were comfortable & clean but the single beds were only 2’6” & 1 was next to a shelf! Hazardous steps in & out of room to balcony. Definitely not a place for children of any age as nothing for them to do but pool & beach. Not for teenagers & not for the elderly/disabled. Too many steps in & out of the hotel with no hand rails & slippery surfaces, door frame lips etc French mainly here who are loud at all times. The food was very poor & so were the drinks. Not much choice, lemonade when you ask for tonic, no cocktails & you had to pay for water! Hardly all inclusive!! We took a boat trip to Lopud from the hotel which was lovely & whilst in Dubrovnik we booked a day trip to Mostar in Bosnia & the waterfalls-beautiful & about 1/3 of the prices in Croatia! Reception staff apart from Manual were rude & had no customer service skills. Tried overcharging us when we asked if we could keep the room longer after check out time as our pick up time wasn’t until the evening. Prices in Croatia are high since going to the euro last year but ripping tourists off is not the way to make a living! Found a lot of the people miserable & unhelpful! Staff in the restaurant need to smile & look like they want to be there! We found a lovely taverna on the coastal path to Slano where we had a delicious meal & wine was only €1.50 a glass, much tastier than at the hotel! The pool is not heated & was dirty, mould all along the bottom & even tissues floating in it. They decided to clean it after we had been there a week by completely draining it & making it inaccessible for the day.Not popular with guests! It Should be cleaned daily!! Unfortunately for us the weather wasn’t great we had 2 good days the rest were so windy or rain. Would i return to Croatia probably not, been to better for the money we paid.

Lovely hotel and location, clean and well maintained! A bit out in the sticks and poor excursion experience, an hour away to Dubrovnik old town and a half hour walk to Slano to catch a bus which is way cheaper than the hotel provision! Food choices for vegetarian meals were very poor and the staff at reception were often rude and unhelpful. Whilst the location was good for some R&R it isn’t something I’d recommend for those seeking a little change to just lounging around by the sea. Entertainment was poor throughout the evening and the drink choices diabolical. Overall a pretty basic experience

The best holiday we've been on. Staff aways polite and friendly. All inclusive meals always had a good choice even with one Gluten free. Only negative was getting beer in a very small glass ( used to a pint). Entertainment was OK. Lovely room and balcony. Made use daily of kayaks, pedalos and free bike hire. Stunning location. Will definitely return.
