Very charming, elegant, old-world style that did not feel dusty and ancient. Loved that the hotel was directly off the strandvagen & walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, kungstragaden, & musees. The staff was lovely! We would return.

This hotel is a bit of a legend with Stockholmers. Art nouveu and twentieth century modern collide. I wouldnt want this changed. However, when I arrived I found there was no lift to my level. If i had known this, i would have booked next door. I think it only fair to alert prospective guests that could be a considerable inconvenience to some. However staff were quick to take up /down luggage. If you can manage atairs - then enjoy the old fasioned luxury of thexEsplanade

Beautiful antique style boutique hotel. Really good breakfast with the normal bacon, eggs, bread but also chia puddings, pastries, cheese and fruit salad. We loved it! There is also coffee and tea available 24/7 and a really nice living room where you can sit down. The staff is super friendly and made our stay amazing. Location is excellent.
The only issue was that the air in our room was quite moist, but that was probably just because it is autumn and it rained a lot, plus the building is old. Nevertheless I'm definitely coming here again!

Excellent location. A little worn, but very charming hotel. No air condition, so the room gets a little hot.

The hotel is older which I love and the staff are all wonderful - especially Carina (very helpful and a wonderful host for the hotel). Only issues is the hotel does not have parking and I unfortunately got three tickets on the side street so learn the parking rules. Otherwise love the hotel, tea/latte machine, and living area where you can watch the boats go by.

Our room was on the ground floor and next to it was kitchen. In the morning we woke up to loud clashing of dishes which continued from 6.30 to 10. How could anyone even think of placing guests next to such a loud operation? Obviously we couldn’t sleep.
