The accommodation at Lovane wine estate was nothing short of perfection! From the room itself to the service was excellent, the wine itself was fantastic and we will definitely be coming back to stay here for our next visit to Stellenbosch!

Fijn verblijf op een wijn estate op zo'n 4km van Stellenbosch. Gastvrij personeel. In de ochtend wordt een goed en vers ontbijt geserveerd. De kamers zijn ruim, de badkamer prima. Om de 4 dagen worden handdoeken en beddengoed verschoont. Het zwembad is groot genoeg en er zijn fijne ligbedden. Lovane ligt 4km van Stellenbosch centrum.

The place is very cosy, interior is atmospheric, we were surprised by a welcoming bottle of wine in our room. The breakfast was really nice and tasty. Sunset view was astonishing. Unfortunately the service is disappointing. We asked for additional blanket as there was only one on our room - it was not brought. When leaving the hotel our friends found that they were robbed. Somebody opened the window and stole near $600 and some personal belongings. The owner was behaving awfully, he blamed us and did nothing to help us. He shouted at our guide at the end just kicked us out of the hotel. Now he continues to insist that we have robbed ourselves 😀 I do not advise to visit this place.

Where the perfect location and all round high standards come together. Add to that the experience of spending time in and around Stellenbosch and you have a magical start to your holiday. There are so many vineyards to visit, and the town is wonderful to explore

It was a nice accommodation, the room and bathroom were good. Cleaning and changing towels and sheets worked perfectly. The breakfast suited us perfectly and the staff were pleasant and helpful. And that the farm's wine tasted good.

We were on a wine tour just after Christmas and decided on the spot just to hop in there. It was close to closing time but the wine steward, Janine, still did a thorough tasting with us downstairs in the cellar. I have been at numerous wine tastings but Janine's approach and knowledge was excellent. We had a wonderful time and not once did she rush. The wine is excellent and deserves every star it achieved. We left there with 2 of your MCC bottles and several other wines. I am so impressed and Lovane gets a special place on my list. Well done!

We choose Lovane because it is close to the airport and a nice place to acclimatise after arriving late at night from our flight from Amsterdam. We loved the room, the big bathroom, the view, the presents on the bed. After a nice breakfast we were invited for a wine tasting. An hour later we moved on to our family in Franschhoek with 3 boxes of the lovely Lovane wine in the boot.

Beautiful view, spacious rooms, beautiful linen, very clean room, staff are very friendly and helpful. Very tranquil setting. We had a room at the back, which had such a beautiful view of the hills, vineyards and not forgetting the awesome sheep!
