An amazing stay! The staff were incredible - consistently polite, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and really well-designed. The hotel itself is gorgeous and unlike anything I've stayed in before. It's like a small village, full of interesting buildings. Very peaceful. The breakfast was really good and took place in an unusual and impressive dining room. Afternoon tea was lovely, too. The gym was a little basic, but we were still able to get a good workout in every day. It has several cardio machines as well. I don't write reviews very often, but I had such a lovely time that I felt this review was well-deserved!

杭州灣御海君瀾我和家人已經是常客了，真的是愛了，這次過節我是網上訂得房間和家人過去玩的，這酒店很多細節令我難忘，比如服務人員的熱情，過節高峯還能做到周全照顧，我要了一個加被都是提前給我放進去的，我的雙床還幫我換成大床等等細節都做得無可挑剔，所以我又續住了一晚，總之一個字：好！下次我和家人還會再來的

I couldn’t leave! The views ,the beautiful spacious rooms! A 10/10 from me. It is absolutely perfect for a photoshoot, I took so many nice photos. I had such a great experience, the staff is really friendly. When I ordered food they sent it to my room immediately after delivery. Communication with the staff was flawless , they used a translator, others can speak English.Fast and quick check in process . Xinyi was so nice, very helpful. Breakfast was good, but hopefully there can be more western food in the restaurant. There’s a big shopping mall next to the hotel, walkable distance which makes the location even more convenient. I highly recommend this hotel.

Dus in eerste instantie wilde ik voor drie dagen boeken voordat ik naar een nieuw hotel zou verhuizen, maar uiteindelijk verlengde ik en bleef ik in totaal zes dagen. Het andere is de service. Ik vind dat ze heel aangenaam zijn, waardoor we elke dag een goede sfeer voelen als we binnenkomen en vertrekken. De receptie hielp met bagage, regelde de formaliteiten bij de receptie en zorgde voor warme handdoeken en thee. Toen hielp een man ons onze bagage naar de lift te dragen. Toen ik uit de lift stapte, werd ik begroet door een huishoudster, die me naar mijn kamer bracht en vroeg of ik melk of pap wilde voor snacks 's avonds laat, de bezorgtijd van de maaltijd en het soort aromatherapie in de badkamer. We drinken veel water. Nadat we de receptie twee keer hebben gevraagd om het water bij te vullen, zetten ze er elke dag nog twee flessen water in. Generally a very impressive, grand, beautiful and majestic hotel smack in the middle of Yinxian District. Some parts of the hotel design was strange though: the location of light switches was not intuitive (I spent a good few minutes trying to find the light switches for living area), they don’t provide hair conditioner for bathroom. And bathtub does not have a shower option (and quite a walk away from shower area). Otherwise it would have been a perfect hotel. I enjoyed my stay very much and this hotel made me love Ningbo City a lot.

We had a great time at this hotel. They upgraded our rooms to lake view and provided us an exclusive butler whose name is MaoJiaXin. She is very helpful and attentive to our needs. She makes it easier for us to enjoy our stay at the hotel. In addition, they have a lot of amenities the children can enjoy. We wished we could have stayed longer. Will definitely come back again.

Face-to-face staff are excellent with English speaking guests. Over the phone speaking English at night it’s impossible to order in-room dining or even communicate to have dishes collected. Food takes up to 45 minutes to arrive and is cold and in poor condition. Ordered an Angus burger - cold wedges and the bun was hard and cracked (perhaps left under heat lamp for too long); very poor value for money. Even buffet breakfasts are a little rough around the edges. On day 1 there was honey. On day 2 there was no will in the restaurant to supply honey or even check with the kitchen. Again, all staff (including janitors and handymen) are usually amazing and helpful. The team went out of their way to make my child feel welcome with free toys and activity packs.

The hotel is close to the beach, beautiful sea view, the sunrise is breathtaking and the sea breeze is a cherry on top. The staff is very welcoming, sweet, patient and very helpful. Vic Guo was always available and hands on whenever we needed help, he speaks English which made everything easier. The rooms are beautiful and spacious 😍 and truly have the best views that will make you find it very hard to take your eyes off. I felt very comfortable in the room, the couch and bed are soft and comfortable, I must also mention the spacious walk in closet, if you are an over packer like me, you are definitely covered 😂. I felt home away from home, and that’s the kind of comfortability I needed and got 😉. Breakfast was delicious, there are so many options to choose from in the western restaurant. We also had lunch and dinner, which was as delicious. I absolutely recommend this hotel, my experience with Crowne Plaza is always top tier in every city 👌🥂

With professionalism and attention to detail, she introduced the hotel’s amenities and kindly recommended an upgrade to the Lakeside Suite—a decision that immersed us in a dreamlike Jiangnan experience far beyond our expectations. The Lakeside Suite framed Dongqian Lake like a living ink-wash painting. Each morning, we opened the floor-to-ceiling windows to mist-kissed waters resembling a classical scroll; by dusk, the lake shimmered in amber hues under the setting sun, dotted with distant sailboats. Inside, the suite masterfully balanced traditional Chinese aesthetics with contemporary comfort—exquisitely carved screens divided the tranquil living space, embroidered cushions complemented modern art pieces, and the freestanding bathtub by the window created the illusion of floating above the lake. The smart bedside control system, allowing us to adjust lighting and curtains with a touch, harmonized technology with timeless elegance. May’s service was nothing short of impeccable. Noticing our preference for quiet mornings, she proactively adjusted housekeeping schedules. When we expressed interest in local flavors, she not only recommended authentic Ningbo restaurants but also hand-drew a map of nearby attractions. These thoughtful, personalized touches transformed a routine stay into a heartfelt experience. At checkout, a carefully prepared gift and a handwritten note from May added the perfect sentimental farewell. From my room, I had a delightful view of the surroundings, which added to the overall experience. Breakfast Variety: The breakfast spread was impressive, with an array of options to suit different tastes. Whether you prefer a hearty meal or something light, the hotel caters to all preferences. Fully Stocked Mini Bar: The mini bar was a pleasant surprise. It was well-stocked, allowing guests to indulge in their favorite beverages and snacks. However, there were a couple of areas where the hotel fell short: Toiletry Oversight: Unfortunately, the housekeeping team overlooked the essential toiletries. I missed having a dental kit, comb, body cream, and shower gel. Even the shampoo was absent from the toiletries collection. Tiny Bottles: In the cabinet, I found only tiny bottles of body wash and shampoo. While they were functional, I expected more comprehensive amenities. In summary, CITIC Ningbo International Hotel offers a nostalgic charm, excellent location, and stylish ambiance. With a little attention to detail, it could regain its former glory.
