You must have a vehicle as we are 3 miles from downtown Cooperstown. There is a taxi service and also Uber just started in the area. Activities nearby: Dreams Park Baseball, Susquehanna River activities, Goodyear Lake, Otsego Lake, golf, hiking, Cooperstown shopping. Also, Ommegang Brewery, Red Shed Brewery is 2 miles south of the house. It has a large fireplace, french doors leading out to the terrace and a decor that includes vintage furnishings as well as comfortable seating to enjoy the large screen T.V. The kitchen and baths have been updated with modern amenities. This center hall, colonial home has wood and tile floors throughout. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor and 4 bedrooms on the second floor. This is the only property walking distance to two fantastic breweries! The Northway Brewery is steps across the road and the famous Ommegang Brewery is just a few minute stroll away. Just a short drive to all other Cooperstown attractions.Comfortable, stylish and impeccably clean 1850's renovated farmhouse with generously appointed kitchen, living and dining rooms, six bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. There is cable TV in every bedroom, as well as a large screen in the living room, wifi throughout the house, a gas fireplace in the living room and wood burning fireplace in the backyard. This house has all the comforts of modern living with the details and charm of a vintage home. There is one bedroom on the first floor, off the kitchen, that sleeps four in a queen bed and two twin beds. This bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower. Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms, of which three accommodate two people in queen beds, and all three have ensuite bathrooms. The other two upstairs bedrooms adjoin and share an ensuite bathroom. One has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds. There are a total of five bedrooms and four bathrooms upstairs, and one bedroom with a full bathroom, and an additional half bathroom downstairs.There is a lovely, generous front porch with ample seating and views of Northway Brewery, the valley and gorgeous sunsets. The half bathroom and laundry room are conveniently located on the first floor, off the sitting room. The backyard, with built in fireplace, stone patio, tables and chairs and bbq grill is perfect for relaxing or dining. With no neighbors to the sides, the backyard space is very private.Parking is never an issue, with a circular driveway and ample parking for several vehicles. Take a 5 minute stroll down the road to Ommegang Brewery for great beer, food, brewery tours, live music, Bingo Brunch and Frisbee Golf. (Please check the brewery website for hours, schedules and events)If you are coming in the summer for Dreams Park Baseball, you will only be a 7 minute drive away!
