Ik was sceptisch toen ik eerdere beoordelingen las, maar besloot het eens te proberen voor één nacht tijdens mijn zakenreis, aangezien ik IHG-lid ben. Na in 5 verschillende hotels in deze stad te hebben verbleven — de meeste op loopafstand aan de Corso Porta Nuova (de hoofdstraat die van het treinstation naar veel belangrijke bezienswaardigheden leidt) — kan ik zeggen dat Indigo tot mijn top 2 keuzes behoorde. De kamer waarin ik verbleef was smaakvol ingericht — het hoofdeinde van het bed trok meteen de aandacht, opvallend maar elegant, met schilderijen die romantische verhalen over de geschiedenis van de stad leken te vertellen; de open kledingkast was slim omdat het de kamer ruim liet lijken en tegelijkertijd genoeg ruimte overliet om kleding en jassen op te hangen, vooral op een regenachtige dag. Het balkon was een superleuke touch en was mijn favoriet om 's avonds naar terug te keren met uitzicht op het charmante Verona 's nachts en mensen en auto's voorbij te zien rijden. Twee stoelen, een salontafel met dekens en een beetje bloemendecoratie. Ik heb ondanks de kou en regen behoorlijk wat tijd doorgebracht met het genieten van de prachtige beelden die tot de meest bijzondere herinneringen behoorden die ik van deze reis mee zou nemen. Ze is super aardig, attent en professioneel in het helpen met het opbergen van mijn koffer, omdat ik haast had om mijn trein naar een nabijgelegen stad te halen op een regenachtige dag; ze gaf duidelijke, nauwkeurige informatie om me te helpen binnen 10 minuten naar het treinstation te gaan; en de volgende dag deed ze vriendelijk aanbevelingen voor cafés. Haar passie, enthousiasme en vriendelijkheid overtreffen die van veel van haar collega's. Haar oprechte glimlach valt op tussen anderen die misschien gewoon hun werk proberen te doen. Je kunt zien dat Anna echt uitzonderlijk is en een geweldige ambassadeur voor Hotel Indigo. Ga zo door! Ontbijtservice was super efficiënt, vriendelijk, attent. De professionele en attente heer bood meerdere keren koffie, thee, sinaasappelsap, enz. aan, zorgde ervoor dat elke gast alles had wat hij nodig had voor een goede start van de dag, ruimde snel de vaat op terwijl de gasten wegliepen - perfect naadloos. Werkelijk uitstekende aandacht voor details. Het restaurant bood een goede variëteit aan eten: rauwe groenten zijn zeldzaam in het ontbijtbuffet van het hotel, maar hier deden ze dat wel, dus dat was een pluspunt in mijn boek. Vers fruit, muesli, (zonder toegevoegde suiker) yoghurt en roerei waren mijn go-to. Hoewel ik geen gebak of brood at of prosecco dronk bij het ontbijt, als dat iets is wat je lekker vindt, dan zul je blij zijn om te horen dat ze genoeg aanboden om verschillende smaken te bevredigen. Het enige dat Indigo ervan weerhield om mijn eerste keuze in Verona te worden, was de douche. Ik had specifiek om een ​​douche gevraagd omdat op basis van de foto's die andere reizigers deelden en beoordelingen, velen opmerkten dat het bad er gedateerd uitzag en een update nodig had. Ik neem persoonlijk geen bad in hotels, dus een nieuwe, goede waterdrukdouche met snelle, efficiënte afvoer zou veel belangrijker zijn. Ze hebben mijn verzoek wel ingewilligd met een staande douchehoek. Het vierkante douchegedeelte was echter zo klein dat mijn ellebogen (ik ben een klein meisje) steeds tegen de glazen deuren stootten. Ik geloof dat er een grote renovatie gepland staat voor januari-februari 2024, dus het zou interessant zijn om te zien of ze de badkamers en douches ook renoveren.

Tolles Unterkunft im Herzen von Verona. Sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Check-In war super unkompliziert und wir können das Apartment auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed at! The weather wasn’t ideal but the views were still stunning and the decor was lovely. I also really appreciated the restaurant and the breakfast. All of the staff were also very kind. I definitely want to come back during the summertime.

No words to say really and the fact that the guy who was resptionist told me this is not my responsibility and I am not a waiter to bring blankets for you was anoteher level. I really like to discuss this with their manager because I've been to that hotel before and I aimed to go again but I don't think so anymore. Not me and my family! The receptionist was not professional and they expected me to go to their other building to collect the blankets that they did not provide! They were rude that they wanted to get to my room with out prior permission from me to check if the room actually has blankets or not!!!! They did not trust my words as a guest!!! this was so not respectful and of course I did not let them in to the room at 11 pm while my parents are sleeping and told them to check the room while I am checking out in the morning!! OMG I was waiting for blanket since 12 pm!!!! And they said you should come and collect it because we don't have staff!!!! a 4 star hotel! And once I went there they actually had 2 staff!

Everything is great! Location is good for those who drives, convenient parking, but far from city center (not walking distance). Large room, clean, good amenities, good reception staff, good breakfast. I love most about the bed and pillows. I read some bad reviews but I think the bed and pillows are not too soft which is good for back and neck. I had best sleep here during all my stay in Italy.

We recently stayed here for 5 nights to take in the sights of Verona and surrounding cities. While I can't complain about the price, and for that, it was a bargain, there were a number of issues that resulted in a less than perfect rating. The location: While it looks close to the main train station, it is about a 25 minute walk. However the 23/24/73 buses run regularly and pick-up / drop-off very close to the hotel Lidl: next door to the hotel is a Lidl - it was a godsend and well worth visiting (if only for the fresh cheese focaccia). The hotel itself was very clean but: - The rooms have wooden floors and the walls aren't super-thick. So, when someone checks in to their room nearby, you can hear everything. At midnight, it isn't great when they're walking in heels across the floor. - Lack of plug sockets - there was one usable plug in the room that is shared with the kettle, and one in the bathroom! - Air conditioning (or severe lack of) - the rooms have air con, however, it wasn't switched on and I was told by reception that at this time of year (October) they don't have it switched on. The room temp was in the high 20s which led to us not actually sleeping under the covers - we spend 5 night sleeping on top of the bed as the room was just too hot. We couldn't sleep with the window open as their was too much noise from outside. - The toilet flush was leaking 'hot water' - but this was repaired / replaced with a different toilet flush - Staff: They were helpful when housekeeping has vacuumed up one of my wife's earrings, but didn't offer any assistance with regards to the heating in the room

Location is good, 10mins walk from Piazza Bra and shopping street. Host provided very little hand soap and shampoos. Floor is not very clean. Won't change towels for you. Host will contact you via trip.com or WhatsApp and ask you to provide your estimated arrival time, so this is good. Breakfast is at a cafe opposite, the croissant is good.

Het ligt wat ver van het centrum van de oude stad Verona. De taxi kost 10 tot 20 euro. Het is niet rendabel om de reistijd en 💰 te berekenen. Als je geen haast hebt, kun je de bus nemen. Deze kost 2 euro per persoon en duurt 20 minuten naar het centrale plein. Het is niet handig om de bus te nemen met bagage. Het hotel ligt op 8 of 9 minuten van het busstation. De faciliteiten, service, omgeving en het ontbijt van Crowne Plaza Hotel zijn allemaal aanwezig. Geen probleem. Het is ook een betaalbare optie in het hoogseizoen.
