"I stayed here with my girlfriend during the Chinese new year, and we loved it. The staff are super friendly and helpful, especially the boy who helped with our luggage and the restaurant staff, such as Wang Xiaomei who welcomed us each morning. The hotel is very close to the beach and lots of restaurants. The only problem I had, as with all HI hotels I’ve stayed in recently, is that the pillows are uncomfortable and need replacing, and the duvet is far too thick for the warm weather in Beihai. Also, they advertised on Ctrip that they have air conditioning, but it doesn’t work. Overall, a good stay though thanks to the staff."

"We had a great stay. The location was ideal for walks along the lovely beach. It was easy to find cheap and wholesome food. The breakfast was excellent with really friendly workers and excellent choice. The gate workers were friendly. The room had all the facilities necessary to stay for a week, I liked the nearby guest laundry. The view was fantastic. Most of all Xiao Luo was brilliant, helping us at every occasion. Would recommend. Shame the pool was closed as it was advertised to stay open until the end of November."

"New hotel and the facilities is excellent. The toilet and shower is high tech. Auto flashing and shower come with music. The morning breakfast is generally good. H otel location is a 3 km away from Silver beach and 4m from Qiaogang Fengqing Night market."
