It is DIRECT OCEANFRONT & BEACHFRONT with Amazing views!!! Private ocean view patio! This unit is immaculate and pride of ownership is evident throughout. Maalaea village is a gem with its central location and its fantastic trade winds. They provide a cooling breeze that keeps the temperatures just right. Beautifully landscaped grounds with a pool and BBQ. Any stress you have will melt away. Slip into the pool and enjoy the ocean view while you relax in the Maui sun.Perfect central location to go explore the island! Or take a day to just relax to catch a glimps of green sea turtles rolling in the surf or bobbing up for air, even sunning themselves on the beach. In the winter months (Nov-April) you will have a front row seat to breaching whales as they come back to the islands to give birth, nurse, and play with their young!At the end of our cul-de-sac is Sugar Beach, 2-3 minute walk from the unit. Sugar Beach has the longest stretch of sandy beach on Maui. 5 miles of secluded sand to walk, run and beachcomb. Sugar Beach is very secluded and hardly ever has crowds. Sugar beach is protected from the road by the bird-filled-ponds of Kealia Wildlife Refuge. It is so amazing to walk this beach and literally feel like you have it all to yourself! A 5 minute walk in the opposite direction takes you to Maalaea Harbor where you will find a small grocery store, gym, deli, restaurants, and the Maui Ocean Center (Maui’s #1 tourist attraction), the Pacific Whale Foundation, miniature golf, shopping and most of the ocean activities available on Maui (whale watching, sunset dinner cruises, deep sea fishing & snorkeling tours). You can watch whales during winter from the private balcony and enjoy the incredible view of the protected bay and neighboring islands all year round. People who have stayed here have come back over and over again. Maalaea is central to the island's many attractions. 20 minutes from the airport, 20 minutes to Lahaina, Kahului and the North Shore with it's many windsurfing locations. Shopping is about 20 minutes by car and restaurants are in 5 minutes walking distance. 5 minutes walk in one direction brings you to Maalea's yacht harbor with a small shopping mall and the well known Maui Ocean Center (Aquarium). 5 minutes walk the other direction will bring you to a 2 mile long sandy beach.Comments from previous guests:We have enjoyed our two week stay in your lovely suite immensely. The complex is outfitted with two elevators: one front and center to the complex, the other one at the west end of parking lot. Stairwells are located next to each elevator. Trash is located on the west end of the complex, with each floor having a trash shoot next to the westward elevator. A common seating area in the middle of the complex leads out to a sprawling green lawn that runs right up to the ocean where you can watch for feeding turtles, the occasional surfer, and whales depending on the season (the whales visit our island between the months of December- mid-April).
