3-Starhotels in Ko Lipe

From the moment we arrived via boat to the most beautiful setting, we were breath taken! The private beach is great for snorkeling and safe for kids. Our room (no. 6) was a good size, nice balcony, some sea views and comfortable. Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful, especially the receptionist who was always smiling and super friendly. Of our 8-day stay in Koh Lipe, we spent 3 nights here. By comparison, the hotel we moved to next was marginally cheaper, also with a high (but not as high) rating. Ten Moons was the better deal!!! Pros: - Stunning location - Large glass water jug in the room (which was refilled daily using a 5 gallon water bottle rather than multiple small plastic bottles). Great to see the hotel reducing the use of plastic! - Great breakfast selection - Food available all day - Clean - Staff helpful and friendly - Life jackets, beach toys, snorkels, etc available for use for free - Quiet location/very peaceful and relaxing - Lovely sand (sand texture tends to vary in Koh Lipe however it was great here!) - Walking distance or ferry ride to walking street and more livelier areas Cons: - One of the few hotels not showing a sign or communicating/educating tourists NOT to step on coral. The by-product is that there isn’t a lot of live coral to see although there is still a lot of fish life. By comparison, we saw a hotel further down actively promoting not to stand on coral with staff educating tourists - No pool (although not needed as the sea area is more than ample to swim in) - No kayaks (available for hire at THB200 per hour nearby, less than a minute walk away) - Not for people who struggle with stairs (although there are a couple of villas on the beach without the use of stairs) We would most certainly stay here again!

We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad! Je krijgt je eigen bungalow met een enorm bed, een koelkast, airconditioning en drankjes + koffie gratis! Erg cool extraatje: er zijn veel usb-poorten om op te laden! Je zit precies in het midden van het strand van Pattaya en op een paar meter van de wandelstraat. De nachten zijn erg rustig voor een goede nachtrust en het personeel was meer dan vriendelijk. Je krijgt zelfs een gratis welkomstdrankje met een verfrissende handdoek, wat een groot pluspunt is nadat je per boot aankomt! We vonden ons verblijf van 4 dagen erg leuk en zouden het aanbevelen en opnieuw boeken. Meer dan tevreden :)

This is my third visit to Lipe Island, and it has been the most wonderful stay so far. The front desk staff were truly amazing—always friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with anything needed. The views from our accommodation were simply breathtaking, arguably the best on the island. What made the experience even more special were the warm and welcoming people here, along with the delicious breakfast served each morning. A perfect getaway in every way! 11/10

Hotel is located right on the main road, not too far from the walking street and sunrise beach. Interesting decor inside the room, but even more unique is the bathroom structure with the upper half having no walls and essentially being barricaded by bamboo. We only stayed 1 night with the room appropriate for the family, I think. In any case, depending on the season and the price, we might stay there again.

Dit is de t****e keer dat we in Bella Vista verblijven (opeenvolgend jaar). Voor ons is het het meest betaalbare strandresort langs Pattaya Beach (wat voor ons ook het beste strand van Koh Lipe is). Het beste is dat Bella Vista in een gebied ligt waar geen longtailboten zijn! Het is dus vrijwel gratis om te zwemmen en te snorkelen. De kamer is best knus (ik kan niet veel klagen), maar misschien moet het afvoersysteem in de douche (kamer 515) verbeterd worden. Het raakte vrij snel verstopt. Het ontbijt was redelijk goed en het personeel was ook behulpzaam. Al met al zijn we helemaal verliefd geworden op dit resort en Koh Lipe, dus Bella Vista, tot volgend jaar (als jullie de kamerprijs niet verhogen 😊).

Prachtig hostel! The Street Hostel ligt aan de belangrijkste wandelstraat, wat uitstekend was vanwege de gemakkelijke toegang tot het strand en talloze restaurants. Het hostel was erg schoon, de airconditioning was sterk en de bedden hadden gordijnen die privacy boden in onze gedeelde slaapzaal. Ik kijk ernaar uit om weer in Street te verblijven!

We verbleven vier nachten in het hotel. De locatie is uitstekend, alles is dichtbij, maar het is er toch rustig en huiselijk. Voor het hotel ligt een prachtige vijver met waterlelies, waar ooievaars kikkers komen vangen. 's Avonds kwaken de kikkers. De kamer was erg schoon; ze maakten hem elke dag schoon, vulden het water bij en zorgden voor voldoende shampoo en douchegel. Het ontbijt is standaard: toast met jam, groenten en roerei of een omelet. Er is thee, koffie en cacao. Het enige minpuntje is dat er 's avonds muggen kunnen zijn – je kunt niet lang buiten zitten, want ze steken je. We vonden het hotel erg fijn.

We have early check out and the day before asked them to get ready the breakfast at 7.30 ( as breakfast start usually at 7.30) as we need to go to boat at 8.15. But the stuff decide to come and start to work at 7.35. So our breakfast was dani at almost 8.00. But the most understandable for us was their attention only to Thai people, one day we saw they have breakfast at 7.00!!!!!

I have mixed feelings about my stay at this resort. The manager was a sweet old man, and the staff were always really nice to us. The location is perfect, and the resort has so much potential, but they are clearly not taking advantage of it. Cleanliness was a major issue. The water heater and the AC both broke during our stay, although they were immediately fixed. The room was spacious but a bit old, with fixtures like the water tap being really old and dirty. Given that it was high season, I understand the higher prices, but the cleanliness issues really detracted from the experience, making it feel overpriced for the quality provided.

De ligging van de bungalows is direct aan Sunrise Beach. Wij hadden bungalow nummer drie, die aan het strand ligt en elke ochtend perfect is. Ik denk niet dat ik in andere bungalows zou willen verblijven na de eerste twee rijen, ze zijn eenvoudig maar voldoende en we hebben hier een geweldig verblijf gehad. Er zijn veel boten, maar dat is echt geen probleem. Gemakkelijk te lopen om rechtdoor te lopen, waarschijnlijk 10 tot 15 minuten. Het ontbijt was eenvoudig maar voldoende, ik zou hier weer verblijven.
