3-Starhotels in Beppu

I found the public onsen small not enough facilities and amenities. Befire, all other onsen I stayed usually provide drinks juices and ice cream. but here, after the sauna I didn't see a bottle of water !. and the rubbish bin for so full and the water refill was empty. secondly, we booked dinner 2 x but the food is just average and the size portion is small. not as good as others I stayed before in Japan.

This hostel is in a building where beppu tower is located. It's clean and comfy 🙂 The female dorm room is big. Showers and toilets are clean, with free shampoo conditioner and shower gel provided for guests. There is paid washing machine and dryer to use. And on the 5 floor the guests can use sauna for free. Only negative point is there are cameras in the female dorm room.

It takes about ten minutes to walk to the bus terminal and the nearest convenience store. The hotel is very close to Baichi Hot Spring, about a three-minute walk, which is very convenient. The cleanliness of the hotel is very high, and the rooms are large. There is an indoor hot spring and an outdoor hot spring in the room. However, there should be some additives in the hot spring, and the family members have a little allergies after soaking. In addition, the hotel also has a family hot spring, the hot spring is very large, the environment is also good. The staff were enthusiastic and courteous. Because we lost a piece of hand luggage on the bus, the staff not only helped us call to find it, but also taught us how to claim it, which really helped us a lot. The meal is exquisite, but the taste is average, and everyone may have different tastes. Probably because I have stayed in a lot of hot spring hotels, in contrast I think the price of this one is relatively high.

De locatie ligt heel dichtbij JR Beppu, dus ik kan er zelfs met grote bagage snel komen. Het ontwerp van de kamer is goed, met een kleine bank en een lange werkbank. Je kunt het bekijken op youtube. Het bed is hard en het dekbed heeft maar één laken als onderkant. Er zit geen dekbedzak bij en het voelt erg vies aan. Als u zich tijdens de slaap vaak omdraait, is het heel gemakkelijk om te bewegen. Ik weet niet zeker of ze de quilt elke keer veranderen. Omdat ik gele vlekken op het dekbed vond, kon ik het echt niet accepteren. Ik heb de receptie gebeld om het te vervangen en het werd snel vervangen. Er zaten echter nog steeds wat watervlekken, maar vergeet het maar, het is beter dan gele vlekken. De doucheruimte is erg ouderwets en de kranen en toiletten zijn allemaal meer dan tien jaar oud. Hoewel deze in 2021 gerenoveerd wordt, mag de doucheruimte niet vervangen worden door een nieuwe. Er is één deurniveau naar de doucheruimte (je moet uiteraard een trap af) om uit de doucheruimte te komen, wat een beetje gevaarlijk is voor ouderen. Het toilet spoelt zeer slecht en kan vaak niet volledig worden doorgespoeld. Het moet meerdere keren worden doorgespoeld. Ik weet niet waarom, maar het is bijzonder koud bij het raam (waar een vensterbank is).

good value for money! would definitely stay again location: it's relatively further from the station , around a 8-10min walk. there is a 7-11 just around the corner room: my room came without a bathroom but for the ladies are 3 cubicles shared among the 7 mix gendered guests on the floor. i did not have to wait in line at all. there was more than enough space in the room to open my suitcase wide and still feel comfortable. bed and pillow was a bit hard though, and you can hear anyone talking loudly downstairs outside the building as the room is on 2nd floor, tho that doesnt happen very often. food: amazing balanced breakfast that changes everyday - really delicious! onsen: the one on 2F was smaller than 1F, but very good and comfortable. clean too. you can book a private onsen room for 500yen (50mins) staff: all of them were super friendly, helpful and made me feel welcome. there are english-proficient staff available 24H as well :)

Het hotel ligt op een goede locatie, met uitzicht op de zee. Handige plek. De bushalte en het station liggen zeer dichtbij, op 10 minuten afstand, en er zijn veel restaurants, buurtwinkels en andere winkels in de buurt. De warmwaterbron op de 6e verdieping kijkt uit over de zee en het bronwater is warm en comfortabel. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet met veel keuze aan gerechten en zeer vriendelijk en attent personeel.

When I arrived the hotel, the two parking lots on the right side of the entrance were occupied but the one on the left side was still vacant. So I temporarily parked there to unload my luggage and then drove away to a nearby public paid carpark. However when I came back, I found the parking space was occupied by a rental car with a Fukuoka license plate and it parked there for the whole night. The instruction sent to us clear said the customer can only use the two parking lots on the right side with “first come first serve” principle. I am wondering what is the left parking space used for? If it is only used for unloading and pickup, then the instruction should clearly mention it. Otherwise it is not fair for the customers that followed the rules and parked their cars to somewhere else.

Pros: Stayed at Room 203 meant for 5 person… Spacious and comfortable room! Had a window too! Good soundproofing between rooms. Only could hear passing by of trains while awake, so wasn’t a big an issue to us. TV has YouTube and Netflix to watch! Cons: No lift!!! We had to carry our heavy & big luggages to the 2nd floor! *Should indicate shortage of this important facility in the booking system! Only 2 parking spaces for 7 units. *Should also indicate in the booking system that parking spaces are first come first served and have to park at nearby paying car parks if both were being taken up. Will be nice to provide some garbage bags in the room as clearing of food waste from the room was definitely necessary during the many days of our stay! Dining table (super wobbly and one side of the table legs seemed like giving away very soon) needs to changed/repaired instantly!

Location is near supermarket and family mart. A few Coin parking locations near the house. First floor has 2 rooms ＜1 double bed and 1 with twin beds＞ but no space for luggages, a small washing basin at the corner of the staircase. 1 wc and 2 showers at first floor. Washing machine ＜no dryer＞ on the first floor. 1 wc on 2nd floor. Living room on 3 floor. 2nd floor has 2 rooms ＜1 with 2 double beds and 1 single bed, another with a single bed＞. 2 washing basin on 2nd floor inside the rooms. It's not possible to bring big luggage up to narrow and steep staircase.no mirror on 1st floor so nid to climb up to wash and brush teeth. We wish the living room was the 1st floor. The music from nearby is bearable. Only know how to manage the water heater on 2nd day. Suggestion to include rubbish bins on the first and 2nd floor. Add a mirror on first floor.

今回利用させていただき　ありがとうございました。 マンションに泊まらせていただき、リッチな気分になりました。 ただ、残念な事が、バスマットがありませんでした。 タオルも、フェイスタオルが欲しかったです。 バスは　水捌けが悪くて、困りました。 ブラインドが　スムーズに閉じれませんでした。 いじょうです。 合掌
