2-Starhotels in Ko Lanta District

De baas is erg aardig en bereid om huurders te helpen bij het oplossen van hun problemen. Het duurt drie tot vijf minuten om naar de kust te lopen, en het ligt zeer dicht bij restaurants en winkels aan de hoofdweg. Het eten dat in het restaurant wordt bereid, is ook heerlijk. Probeer naar de winkel aan de overkant van de weg te gaan, waar het eten goedkoper is dan aan deze kant van de weg.

Geweldige plek. Schone en recent gebouwde bungalows. Warme douche. De airco werkt goed en is niet luidruchtig. Prachtige, goed onderhouden tuin met een klein riviertje dat erdoorheen stroomt. Vriendelijk, behulpzaam en vrolijk personeel en eigenaar. Je bent omringd door bos en kunt de vogels horen en zien. Vijf minuten met de scooter naar Klong Nin Beach, waar je alles vindt wat je nodig hebt, winkels, cafés, restaurants... En dat alles voor een zeer goede prijs. We zouden er zeker teruggaan en we raden het iedereen aan. Bedankt 🙏

Good little road-side hotel with a short walk to the beach.  Great service.  Friendly & helpful staff.  Very clean room.  Great service.  Stayed for only 1 night.  Hotel is located approximately in the middle of the island (north to south); rent a motorbike from the hotel and go explore Koh Lanta.

There are many good things about this hotel: - located close to the Saladan Pier where the boats dock, and just next door to the night market that offers food and shopping - welcoming and helpful staff (the hotel has no elevator, but the receptionist offered himself to carry my bag to the second floor - free use of washing machine on the rooftop, all you need is buy a detergent in the supermarket nearby (5 baht) - small kitchen if you would wish to prepare some food of your own - vivid lobby brightened up by graffiti, with free water and a small library - rooftop terrace with a hammock, with sadly not spectacular view (the roof of the market is quite unappealing - some graffiti artist should cover that too ;)) What could be improved? - big bed is actually two twin beds connected together. Also, they are wrapped in that plastic which you can feel under the sheets :( - I felt the cleanliness of the room could be on a higher level, especially floors and bathroom - no handsoap in the bathroom (I used the shower gel, but even that one was fixed for the wall, so it doesnt get stolen, I guess?) - just two big towels per room (no small towels, or a floor towel) - even when at maximum, water temperature never gets hot or truly warm - the hotel looks a bit run down, and could use some facelifting. There are holes in the floor of the common area, the bathroom seems unfinished, with exposed walls and some ventilation openings plugged with - plastic bags? - i think key deposit of 500 baht is such an unneeded nuisance in these modern times - cant they just charge you if you lose it?

Een vriendelijke plek, gerund door de zeer behulpzame Marcos uit Portugal. Comfortabele bungalows met veranda's. Goede locatie midden op het eiland, dus ideaal als je eigen vervoer hebt en graag toegang hebt tot beide kanten van Ko Lanta en de groene omgeving. Marcos kan je helpen met het huren van een scooter. Eenvoudige Thaise restaurants op loopafstand. Winkels op 5 minuten met de motor de heuvel af. Grote gedeelde keuken beschikbaar als je wilt koken.

Our stay at Lom La Lanta was absolutely delightful! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. While the street noise could be a little noticeable in the late morning, using earplugs ensured we slept very well. The location is very good, with a 7-Eleven just a 5-minute walk away and the beach close by. For exploring the best beaches and attractions in Koh Lanta, we highly recommend renting a motorbike. We rented ours directly from Sada, and her service was outstanding! She offered the best prices and was incredibly friendly and helpful. If you need anything during your stay, just ask Sada. Another highlight of our stay was the super-fast internet. We had 300 Mbps in the reception area and 50 Mbps in our room, which was perfect for workation. Plus, the adorable cats around the hotel made our experience even more enjoyable! We sincerely hope to visit again soon. Thank you, Sada, for your exceptional hospitality!

Un charmant hotel tenu par une patronne très disponible et agréable. Malheureusement, je regrette d'avoir réservé 8 nuits. C'est un peu comme passer ses vanaces sur une aire d'autoroute. Situé directement au bord d'une route à 4 voies sur laquelle les jeunes locaux accélèrent avec leurs scooter en échappement libre. Du coup, le chant de coqs voisins en devient tres sympathique. Bungalows avec belle piscine et un cadre sympathique, ménage quotidien (il vaut mieux pour chasser les fourmis), réparations rapides (lavabo bouché et eau coupée), et un bon lit. Si c'est juste pour dormir et bouger, c'est envisageable- scooter (loué sur place a un bon prix) indipensable- n'espérez pas rejoindre la plage ou les restaurants à pieds. Conclusion: en dépannage pour un ou deux jours et beaucoup trop cher pour la prestation comparée à d'autres lieux. PS: anglais peu parlé donc communication limitée et petit déjeuner très moyen.

Excellent resort situated 5 min walk from long beach and next door to KoHub coworking. The location is however a bit quieter than other areas. 7-11 is a bit of a walk, but there are a couple of mini marts and restaurants around. Not an issue if you have a scooter but by foot it was a bit limited. The bed was probably the most comfortable I've slept on in Thailand (not rock hard like many others). Staff are very kind and helpful. Would stay again.

Great if you live having your peace and quiet and healing thru staying in nature. 💚PROS: + very kind and helpful staff, absolutely lovely + beautiful private bungalow, thoughtfully decorated and with basic needs met + there's a restaurant that is part of the bungalow complex. You can get amazing pancakes for a banging buck and great fried rice. Opening hours are from 7 a.m to 9 p.m. ! + It's in the country side, so you can really relax and enjoy the sounds of nature + the staff helps you with calling a taxi or renting a scooter 💔CONS - it takes around 30min on foot to get to the next 7/11 and or pharmacy, but only 9mins by motorbike !do yourself a favor and rent a scooter/motorbike in general. It's around 250THB for 24h + sometimes a little extra for gasoline. Taxis are around the same price for just ONE trip! 💖 We would definitely stay at this Bungalow again, since we really enjoyed our time there

Location was ok. To get to most restaurants a tuk tuk was needed. The hotel is split into 3 parts which was not too clear when we booked. The room we booked was nearer the road and was more of a self service room. There are rooms in between the beach and the lobby but they looked largely out of use. Finally the beach bungalows looked very nice and well maintained. The apartel rooms were a 10 minute walk to the beach. Not a problem but something to be aware of before booking. The room itself was clean and pretty standard. The hotel staff at reception were super friendly and helped us book transfers, laundry etc all in one place too.
