"Dit was mijn eerste reis naar Japan in zes jaar. In plaats van de bruisende steden van Honshu koos ik voor Kitakyushu voor een t****aags verblijf in Beppu en boekte een verblijf in deze relatief onbekende herberg met warmwaterbronnen. Het was een onverwacht aangenaam verblijf. De receptionist sprak Engels en hielp me bij het inchecken met het reserveren van een privébadtijd. Wat een geweldige ervaring! De faciliteiten van de herberg waren ongelooflijk schoon en hygiënisch, waardoor het zelfs voor individuele reizigers erg prettig was. De eenpersoonskamer was ruim en had zelfs een massagestoel. Na een privébad was een massage echt heerlijk! Bij het boeken van een herberg met warmwaterbronnen is het essentieel om hun arrangement van één overnachting en twee maaltijden te boeken. Het ontbijt- en dinermenu is behoorlijk goed. Hoewel het diner niet rijkelijk vis, vlees of zeevruchten bevatte, waren er wel volop kaiseki-gerechten en was het ongelooflijk lekker. Geen enkel gerecht viel tegen. Het ontbijt was ook een vast menu. Hoewel rijst eten zo vroeg in de ochtend niet erg populair is in China, was de rijst zo lekker dat zelfs ik, die nooit ontbijt, hem helemaal op at. Het was een hele prestatie! Onthoud: als je in de toekomst naar kleine Japanse oorden reist, hoef je je niet meer in die populaire hotels te wurmen die vol zitten met reisgroepen of worden aanbevolen door sociale software. Soms vind je kleine gelukjes en verrassingen in zulke onbekende kleine hotels!"

"Beppu Hostel U&T is outstanding in many areas of the hospitality industry. The premise is squeaky clean, the Japanese style beds were comfy & snug. The staff were helpful, courteous & we noted went about their chores unintrusively. The coin-operated washing machines & driers were easy to operate. We were pleasantly surprised by the peaceful atmosphere in the common area & astonishing array of beverages provided free for guests. We liked it's central location just across from Beppu Tower & short walking distance to stores & cafes. Highly recommended!"

"Отель старенький, но пребывание в нем на высшем уровне! При заселении выдают юкату и набор гигиенических принадлежностей. Их можно обновлять каждый день пребывания. Персонал вежливый, всегда готов прийти на помощь. Я случайно забыла ключ в номере, когда пошла налить кипяток, и мне без проблем помогли открыть дверь. Очень вкусный питательный завтрак, здорово, что можно выбрать себе компоненты. Онсен на крыше — крайне приятный бонус. После целого дня на ногах релакс в горячей воде — благость. А ещё, несмотря на то, что отель находится прямо напротив станции, что очень удобно для путешествий, окна выходят на другую сторону, поэтому не слышно поездов. И вообще в номере тихо, очень хорошо отдыхать. Из минусов: отсутствие в номере чайника и то, что при уборке забирают юкату. В остальном всё чудесно, рекомендую!"

"This is my first time staying in the Youth Hostel. The experience is very good. The front desk service is very enthusiastic. I am very patient to introduce the facilities. I will also greet you very warmly when I go. The girl bed in the room is very clean. The Youth Hostel has no smell. Everyone is of high quality and very quiet. I slept more than 10 o'clock and went out to play at 8 o'clock. I will stay here next time I come to Beppu! !"

"한국인 평이 없어서 걱정이 앞섰지만, 벳푸역 코앞에 있다는 위치적 장점과 그럼에도 불구하고 주변이 조용하다는 후기에 예약하게 되었어요. 결론적으로는 정말 만족했습니다. 공간도 생각했던 것보다 훨씬 넓었고, 객실 수가 많지 않아서 온천을 이용하는 데에도 웨이팅이 전혀 없었어요. 원할 때 바로 바로 이용할 수 있어서 참 좋았습니다. 주인 분들도 무척 친절하시고, 아침식사도 정갈하게 잘 나와 정말 만족했습니다. 벳푸는 워낙 한국 관광객들이 많이 찾는 곳이라 곳곳에서 어렵지 않게 자주 만나게 되는데, 정갈한 료칸에서 한적하고 일본 느낌을 가득 느끼고 싶으신 분들은 이 료칸 추천합니다. :)"

"Superb location opposite the station, and kind friendly staff. The bathroom was rather dirty, which was really discomforting but overall I am happy with the convenience of the hotel."

"The staff is friendly and speaks English well; the place is quiet and cozy, and the location is perfect. It’s almost a distance to Beppu tourist attractions, especially the Beppu tower and Beppu JR stations. The hostel is also located near the port area, where you can relax and take a break. The hostel also has a cafe, a spacious kitchen, and an artificial hot spring. Although some amenities are not included, you have to purchase them at the front desk, the accommodation cost is relatively cheap, so that’s okay. It's a good thing I have my own towels and other amenities. I will definitely be back here when I return."

"Super nice hotel with onsen! I have a short stay (unfortunately) at this hotel. It was a short walk from Beppu Station, and nearby attractions also restaurant! I am having so much fun strolling around the hotel! Beppu tower is located like 5 minutes walk, the Donki store and my favourite restaurant Gusto also SUPER NEAR from the hotel! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND AND WILL AGAIN STAY AT THIS HOTEL!"

"The hotel is very good, room is clean and tidy, individual onsen is excellent. The only point is the location will be a little bit far for travellers without cars, as hotel is on a hill slope, you will need to spend some efforts to go up, but the hotel quality worths this effort."
