2-Starhotels in Rome

Fantastic stay at Villa Aurora rooms whilst I was in Rome. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-furnished. Fully functional air conditioning (rather than those temperamental units in other places) really was a joy to come back to during the heat of a Rome summer. But so far, I've just commented on some features of the room, rather than my experience here. What will endure in my memory as I look back was the warm, classically no-nonsense Italian hospitality I had from Donatella. Throughout my time here, she made sure I was well looked after with room cleaning, bottled water, towels etc. But I most appreciate her assistance in terms of local knowledge. Local knowledge such as a good seafood restaurant , ”Trattoria del pesce” just down the road (which happens to also be in the Michelin guide); such as to not miss out on the Baths of Caracalla; and perhaps more trivially, but arguably also essential, where to do my laundry! Thank you so much for making my stay here such a pleasure Donatella, and for adding both a new Italian word and outlook to my vocabulary - ”tranquilo”.

非常nice的居住地段，出行方便；雖為單人間，衞生間足夠大，房間層高足夠（看空調安裝位置預估至少🉐3.2m+），兩層窗和窗簾很喜歡，更喜歡窗外的風景；唯一不足的是電梯，check in時能到4F；次日check out變成4F 不能用，衹能自提行李到3F再進電梯

Clean. There’s kitchen you can cook there. Modern facilities and with live band which I like 😆 Walking distance to Termini station. I walked with my luggage from hotel to Termini on my last day in Rome. I also walked to Vatican, Vatican museum, Piazza Navona and many Piazzas, near to Trevi fountain too. Best way to explore Rome is by foot unless you want to get caught in the traffic go take bus or taxi 😆 Food is ok lah it’s on the pic and I like the hot chocolate drink they serve during breakfast. Only that you are not allowed to bring alcohol it’s in the policy. I bought red wine to bring back to Singapore but they asked me to leave it in the counter but I forgot to claim during my check out haysssst.

It's a great place for solo traveller to meet others especially young people. The owner is very friendly and accomodating. They even provided free couscous for dinner. It's actually near Manzoni metro dtation, bit far from Termini. But for 1 night stay, it's okay and adequate.

The location is good. It’s closed to metro and bus stations. But the room requires a renovation. Also we didn’t like smell in the bathroom.

We hadden niet verwacht dat het zo goed zou zijn! De plek is geweldig met alle faciliteiten die je nodig hebt. Het personeel is behulpzaam en het in- en uitchecken was supergemakkelijk. De kamer was goed en schoon. Het enige minpunt is dat de bus van het centrum van Rome terug naar Hu vaak vol zit en te laat is, en dat je bij de halte even moet wachten tot de volgende arriveert.

We verbleven 3 nachten en het is goed verbonden met bezienswaardigheden, zowel met de metro als te voet. We kozen voor de optie om te wandelen en zo de straten van Rome te zien. Als u met koffers reist, moet u weten dat er geen lift is. De behandeling is normaal, formeel, het is een rustige, mooie plek. De kamers zijn ruim, de kamers worden elke dag schoongemaakt, er zijn handdoeken en een flesje gel aanwezig. De eerste nacht ging het algemene licht uit en 2 minuten later kwam het terug. Op de 2e dag in de ochtend rond 9.00 uur was er lawaai vanwege de bouwwerkzaamheden in de buurt. De TV is klein en alleen Italiaanse zenders. Het is zonder twijfel een plek voor 3 nachten en dat is alles. Als je airconditioning wilt, moet je 5 euro betalen, maar als je met koud weer gaat, heb je het niet nodig.

Een enorm park om in te verblijven. De hut waarin we verbleven was netjes en had voldoende ruimte, mede dankzij het extra eenpersoonsbed, wat de extra kosten zeker waard was. Er was een fijne ruime douche en wastafel. Het aparte toilet was erg handig. Er was een kleine koelkast, maar ik was verbaasd dat er geen kan/waterkoker was om koffie te zetten. Ik denk dat ze wilden dat je naar hun café ging. Ze hebben een enorm zwembad, maar helaas was dat gesloten omdat het voor hen winter was. Ik zou aanraden om hier te verblijven als je het niet erg vindt om wat buiten de stad te verblijven, maar het is slechts een busrit vanaf bijna de deur en een half dozijn metrohaltes verderop.

My stay at Villa Luzzatti was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to get around. The staff provided excellent service and were always welcoming. Amenities were good overall, though there’s still some room for improvement. A great choice for solo travelers looking for a pleasant and convenient stay.

De locatie is ideaal, of je nu dicht bij het treinstation wilt zitten of niet. Het is een levendige en bruisende buurt met veel prachtige historische plekken en een ruime keuze aan goede restaurants, allemaal op loopafstand. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en de kamer was comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien, inclusief een ventilator, airconditioning en een prima kleine koelkast. Het bed was zeer comfortabel en de douche had voldoende warm water.
