2-Starhotels in Athene

Truly 5/5. This place is everything. A perfect compliment that will made our Athens stay! Lovely staff could not do enough for us and the location of 4m walk to the Acropolis metro and 15m to the Acropolis hill was unbeatable for us. The area was safe albeit touristy but we found locals spots with good prices an easy stroll away. Especiallly as the hotel was easy to find. We took a triple room and our friend said the sofa bed was very comfy. The room was spacious and quiet. The shower was exceptional and the bathroom modern and clean. Every day the staff refreshed our room and washed the dishes. The kitchenette included a microwave, industrial strength sandwich press and table and chairs in the bay window which allowed us to relax in the morning and evenings with our own snacks and beverages. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Very big thanks to the staff and owners.

Het appartement is prachtig ingericht, zeer schoon en gelegen in een uitstekende, wandelbare wijk van Koukaki. Over het algemeen was de kwaliteit van het appartement zelf zeer hoog, en we genoten onze verblijf. Wij waren ook zeer verheugd dat we twee uur eerder dan de officiële tijd konden controleren, wat zeer nuttig was na een vroege vlucht. Een aantal aspecten van communicatie en praktische regelingen kunnen worden verbeterd om de ervaringen minder te laten zien. Na de boeking werd een extra online-check gevraagd door een beheersorgaan, maar de website werkte niet goed en veroorzaakte onnodige stress, omdat het niet duidelijk was of dit de toegang tot het onroerend goed zou kunnen beïnvloeden. Een duidelijke herverzekering zou in dergelijke gevallen zeer nuttig zijn. Het zou ook goed zijn om in de lijst te verduidelijken dat de slaapkamer en de woonkamer in wezen open-vlak zijn, zonder een scheidingsdeur, aangezien dit privacy en geluidsoverlast beïnvloedt, vooral voor gezinnen. Bovendien leverde het warmwatersysteem niet altijd genoeg warm water voor meer dan één douche in een rij. Ten slotte zouden duidelijkere instructies en een meer consistente communicatie over het veilige en sleutelherstelproces de angst voor gasten verminderen. Ondanks deze punten is het appartement zelf van uitstekende kwaliteit en met een betere communicatie kan de algemene ervaring uitstekend zijn.

- Geweldige locatie, zeer dichtbij (minder dan 5 minuten lopen) de veerbootterminal naar Naxos en Paros (tegenover een voordelige bakkerij). Perfecte plek om te verblijven voor een vroege veerboot. - Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame receptionist die er alles aan deed om ons te verwelkomen, ondanks dat we rond middernacht aankwamen. Hij gaf ons zelfs tips voor ons volgende bezoek aan Athene. - Schone, ruime kamer met goede waterdruk en krachtige airconditioning. - De wifi werkte ook goed. - We hebben geen last gehad van het lawaai van een nabijgelegen club waar andere gasten in recensies over schrijven, maar het was dan ook een doordeweekse avond. - Het enige verbeterpunt zou zijn om gordijnen te plaatsen die het hele raam bedekken en om geen plastic bekertjes voor water bij de receptie te gebruiken, maar herbruikbare toiletartikelen in de badkamer, zodat het hotel milieuvriendelijker kan zijn. - We hebben hier niet ontbeten, dus we kunnen niets zeggen over het eten.

Location!! 400+ mtr from airport bus stop . Bus nombor X95 stops at Syntagma Square(the last stn). 300+- to Monastiraki Square. Monastiraki metro abt 400* mtr to the hotel. Loads of restaurants & cafes around the hotel. Many shops nearby for shopping. The best Bakery 72H sells sourdough breads are also foot steps away. Basically its located is at the centre of everywhere. 20 min walk thru Plaka if you wanna go to Acropolis. Theres a church nearby which ring bells many times a day, it doesnt border us. Service! Super friendly staffs. All the reception guys ad the housekeeping nice persons. We arrived early(ard 11.30am) and the hotel allow us to check in immediately. We had our room cleaned & towel changed! There is a lift to take your luggages to the room. There are soaps ready for you. Cleanlines! Spotless! Love the balcony facing the street. Theres no coffee tea in the room. Room size are adequate for a family of 4 adult. If we were to go to Athens again, will definitely stay here. Highly recommended

Be prepared for the hostel's complete lack of a guest kitchen or even a refrigerator for storing food. There's only an electric kettle on the ground floor. Towels are available for a fee and are not included in the booking. The room did have a balcony, but it was located at one end of the room, and the windows at the other end didn't even open, making it stuffy and uncomfortable.

I stayed in a single room on floor 4. The room was clean and had a window. The windows opened. There was a new fridge in the room that was fantastic and I was able to have ice cold drinks. The bathroom was small but had everything I needed. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels and linens provided. The cleaner was very nice. There was enough room for all my bags, it was snug but very good for the price. I ate breakfast every morning. It was a really nice breakfast room. The breakfast is basic but everything is very fresh and nicely presented. Floor 1 had a strong scent of tobacco and I assumed it was the smoking floor. Floor 4 where I stayed was very quiet and I didn’t smell smoke at all. As a non smoking so traveller I have to have theses needs met! The reception staff were very friendly and polite. The hotel is central it’s only a 20 min walk to all the Athens highlights. It’s a great walk too! Lots of interesting shops! The Archeological museum is only a short walk from the hotel so well placed. The train station main line is only 15 min walk too. There’s a great place to have a full dinner just round the corner for around 12 euros which is great value. I loved the shopping in the area. A very comfy stay I would definitely come back. As a solo female traveller I felt quite safe at the hotel. It is a basic clean hotel and at a budget price. The images attached are of the things mentioned including pictures of the room.

This hotel represents good value for money in Athens. I selected a room with a delightful balcony and interesting street views - there is also tiny park opposite. The desk was fine to complete several hours of work. The air-conditioned worked extremely well. I also appreciated the mini fridge in the room, which many hotels with Athens don't have. However, the bathroom was little tiny. Its about 10 min walk to Omonia Metro station, which offers a direct line to the port area. There is an excellent supermarket about 10 min walk from the hotel. This area feels more like the real Athens, rather than hotels in tourist zones. This zone has wonderful multicultural feel. In the same street of this hotel, there are excellent hairdressers for $5 Euro a cut and fantastic stores to buy discount clothes and bags. I would certainly recommended this hotel for travellers that appreciate value for money and with great amenities like balcony and fridge.

The room is quite small for 3 adults but the amenities are complete. Our room has a balcony, a mini fridge, air conditioner, towels & mini shower gels. It is okay for staying a night, however the area is not very safe for female solo travellers. It’s fine for me because I am traveling with friends. It’s near to the bus stop, metro station, market & restaurants.

Ik kwam rond 1 uur 's nachts aan en was bang dat het hotel misschien al gesloten was. Ze hebben echter een 24-uursreceptie, dus je kunt op elk moment inchecken. De vrouw die 's nachts werkte was erg behulpzaam en zei dat ik haar gerust kon vragen als ik iets nodig had, dan zou ze me de weg wijzen. De kamer zelf was schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien voor de prijs die ik betaalde. De locatie is fantastisch, midden in het centrum en op loopafstand van de meeste bezienswaardigheden.

Хороший отель недалеко от центра. Номера ветхие, но для одной ночи вполне подойдёт. Жили на 7 этаже, вид на Акрополь
