2-Starhotels in Barcelona

I have to say it's the best Youth Hostel I have ever stayed in Barcelona. The location is near the guell park, compared to the other popular location, it's not noisy and really quiet at night. Everything is clean, you can a nice aroma everywhere once you enter into the hostel. They provided the locker and the key, so it's also safety. I would definitely choose it for the next time's travel in Barcelona.

Ik heb al meer dan 50 jaar niet meer in een jeugdherberg verbleven. Op de eerste dag ontmoette ik uitwisselingsjongens uit China en Frankrijk, die erg opgewekt en verstandig waren. Op de t****e dag ontmoette ik een klein meisje uit Shanghai dat aan de universiteit in Londen studeerde, en zij heeft me veel geholpen. Als je alleen reist en elke dag in een hotel verblijft, is het zeldzaam om het studentenleven van tientallen jaren geleden te ervaren. Het is niet slecht, om nog maar te zwijgen van het feit dat je de uitstraling van jonge mensen kunt absorberen en hun vitaliteit kunt voelen.

Het verblijf bij Soul Backpackers was erg aangenaam. De slaapzalen waren schoon en goed onderhouden. De gemeenschappelijke ruimtes waren kleurrijk, netjes, en het was er gemakkelijk om gezellig te doen en nieuwe mensen te ontmoeten. Het personeel is ook beleefd en vriendelijk. Ze zijn wel een beetje prijzig vanwege de nabijheid van de belangrijkste gebieden, maar over het algemeen een heerlijk verblijf voor een paar nachten!

1. Ik hoorde het geluid van water uit het riool boven in de kamer. 2. Ik hoorde duiven koeren rond 4:00 uur lokale tijd. 3. Er is geen tandenborstel, dus neem je eigen slippers en tandpasta mee. 4. De kamer was schoon en de gang was ook schoon. 5. Er zijn veel winkelstraten in de buurt en er is ook een vismarkt!

De kamers zijn kleiner dan in andere internationale hostels van dezelfde keten en kunnen krap zijn als u uw koffers op de grond wilt uitspreiden. Maar ik had alleen een rugzak bij me, dus dat was geen probleem. De kamer is voorzien van een toilet, douche en twee wastafels. Er was ook een gedeeld toilet en douche buiten de kamer. Ik vond het fijn dat ik niet hoefde te wachten als iemand in de kamer iets gebruikte. De douche had lekker warm water en de temperatuur was eenvoudig aan te passen. Het enige wat ik jammer vond, was dat er een groepje basisschoolkinderen op dezelfde verdieping verbleef en dat het erg rumoerig was. Ik ging ervan uit dat kinderen onder de 18 jaar niet in slaapzalen mochten verblijven. Ik was dan ook verrast dat er nogal wat lawaaiige kinderen verbleven.

The hotel location is kinda OK. You have many things that you need around you. Yet the area is not that fancy. The room was small and very basic but seems like that what you get for the price. I stayed in a private room

Locker is available for store luggages before check in time @ 2euro. Hotel is clean, staff is ok. Wall is thin like what other comments said but you can solve problem by your earphone. Bed is comfort, recommended. It is in walking distance to sagrada familla. About 30 mins far from airport, taxi cost will be around 50euro. Microwave is available at first floor and there is a coffee/bakery shop which open since 6.30am. Suitable for anyone who will leave hotel very early morning.

The late check-in fee must be paid in cash. Check-in after 3:00 AM is not possible because we do not have 24-hour service. If you arrive this late, we will be able to accommodate you the following morning from 10:00 AM. Late check-in must be notified in advance. If you do not notify us in advance, we will be entitled to accommodate you the following day. Guests, please respect each other and each other's time. 4) Smoking is prohibited inside the apartment. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a fine of 50 euros. 5) We take neighborly relations very seriously, so any noise that may disturb them is prohibited, especially after 10:00 p.m. 6) Parties (drinks) are strictly prohibited inside the apartment. 7) Guests who are not included in the reservation are not permitted to stay overnight. 8) A separate shelf in the refrigerator is designated for your room; in front of it, there is a number corresponding to your room number. 9) At the end of the stay, the tenant agrees to leave the kitchen utensils (plates, glasses, pans, cutlery) clean. 10) When leaving the apartment, always make sure the lights are off and the doors and windows are closed. Additional Services: - Cleaning during your stay: 10 euros per day (optional). - Laundry service: 15 euros per wash (includes washing and drying). - Luggage storage, only on the day of departure, for 10 euros before 6:00 pm, then 5 euros per hour, but no later than 8:00 pm, upon request. - Crib: 10 euros per day, subject to availability. - In air-conditioned rooms, use of the air conditioning is an additional service and costs 10 euros per day.

I spent 3 nights at the Safestay Passeig de Gracia and here is my honest review LOCATION ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hostel is basically located on the Ramblas so in a super central location. You can really reach the main attractions by walk from here. For example The ”Casa Batllo'” is literally next to the hostel CLEANLINESS ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rooms and toilets were pretty clean, nothing to complain about SERVICE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Also the service was great. We had a problem with the toilet door in our room and they immediately sent someone to fix it. ACTIVITIES ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is in my opinion the best part of this hostel. You can join their Whatsapp group and you have basically everyday some social activities to do. From bar hopping to Sagrada Familia tour. The way they organized these activities is very well structures and I've never seen something like this anywhere else. Once you're on the WhatsApp group, forget about being alone or wondering what to do QUALITY/PRICE RATIO ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Considering its location and the fact that it covers all the basic needs, the price is absolutely fair. In other places you would pay double the price In conclusion I definitely recommend this hostel if you want to meet other travelers, party with them and stay in the city center without breaking the bank! De minpunten: Er is geen geluidsisolatie; je kunt alles horen wat er in de andere kamers gebeurt. De prijs is hoog voor de kwaliteit van het hotel. Het is niet schoon, met beschadigde en afbrokkelende muren. De toiletten en badkamer laten veel te wensen over. De pluspunten zijn de locatie, de vriendelijkheid van het personeel, de 24-uursreceptie en het comfort van de bedden/matrassen.
