"Nachtzwemmen, het geluid van insecten, sterrenkijken en melkthee drinken – al mijn wensen kwamen uit! Telkens weer kies ik er bewust voor om hier te verblijven – in waarschijnlijk een van de duurste hostels van Yangshuo (de goedkoopste 6-persoons gemengde slaapzaal kost 57 yuan) – puur en alleen voor dat unieke zwembadje naast het veld. Anders zou ik echt niet 2 kilometer van West Street hierheen lopen; waarvoor zou ik dat anders doen?! Het zwembad, aangelegd naast de velden in de openlucht achtertuin, biedt een weids uitzicht en frisse lucht. Na de recente renovatie met nieuwe tegels is het nog mooier geworden, en er zijn nu ook sfeervolle nachtlampjes. Omdat er ook vrouwenslaapzalen zijn, slapen er, tenzij het volledig volgeboekt is, zelden vrouwen in de gemengde slaapzalen (mij overkwam het slechts één keer in een Australisch hostel). De faciliteiten zijn eigenlijk wel wat verouderd, en de ligging op 2 kilometer van West Street is wat afgelegen. Maar de douches en toiletten zijn nu gerenoveerd en veel beter."

"De accommodatie was precies zoals afgebeeld op de foto's van de boeking, fantastisch. We verbleven in de 360-gradenkamer op de zesde verdieping en waren er enorm tevreden over.
De kamer was erg schoon, het uitzicht was prachtig en de locatie was uitstekend, op 5 minuten lopen van het stadscentrum, maar ver genoeg weg om geen last te hebben van het lawaai van de hoofdstraat.
De gastheer was ongelooflijk vriendelijk en gaf ons zeer nuttig advies over welke route we moesten nemen en welke uitkijkpunten we moesten bezoeken. Hij hielp ons zelfs bij het boeken van het bamboebos. Bovendien biedt het hotel motorverhuur aan tegen een zeer redelijke prijs. Ik kan het van harte aanbevelen."

"De locatie van het hotel is gemakkelijk te vinden. Het is een loft met drie verdiepingen. De eerste en t****e verdieping zijn voorzien van kingsize kamers, en de derde verdieping heeft een balkon. De verlichting is erg goed en het is omgeven door bergen. Vanaf het balkon heb je uitzicht op Yangshuo County. Het hotel kan ook elektrische auto's verhuren. De baas en de dame bij de receptie zijn erg aardig. Eigenlijk had ik vandaag van plan om op het balkon te genieten van de zon en de wind, maar het schema veranderde en ik had geen tijd om foto's te maken en in te checken. Ik kom de volgende keer zeker weer als ik de kans krijg."

"Everything was as agreed. The suite is comfortable, with clean bed linens and towels, a hairdryer, and water provided.
The only downside is that the room is humid due to the lack of a window, which made the bed linens slightly damp.
The highlight was the printed sheet with tips about Yangshuo, which was very helpful and thoughtful.
The price it's awesome and I would stay again."

"Vrienden, ik kan deze jeugdherberg van harte aanbevelen. Hij is gunstig gelegen vlakbij West Street en je kunt overal elektrische fietsen huren. Ze zijn erg comfortabel en nieuw. Je betaalt er 30 per dag voor, dus betaal niet te veel.
De herberg is ook erg schoon. De eigenaar maakt elke middag minutieus schoon en raadt ook graag heerlijk eten aan! Ik heb de afgelopen dagen enorm genoten van spelen en eten. Je kunt de was op het dak doen en het wasmiddel is niet goedkoop.
In juli begint de hitte al om 10.00 uur, dus ik raad aan om er 's ochtends vroeg of na 17.00 uur op uit te gaan om van de zonsondergang te genieten. 🌄
Tijdens mijn t****aagse verblijf ontmoette ik gelijkgestemde vrienden en de leuke en attente herbergier. Deze momenten van oprechte interactie waren echt waardevolle ervaringen van mijn reis.
Kortom, Chinezen bedriegen Chinezen niet! Kom op!"

"Een onvergetelijke reis naar Yangshuo, dankzij dit warme hotel! Mijn verblijf in dit hotel in Yangshuo zorgde ervoor dat ik me echt thuis voelde. De eigenaar was niet alleen hartelijk en gastvrij, maar hielp me ook met het plannen van mijn reisroute en raadde me de meest authentieke attracties en restaurants aan, waardoor ik de schoonheid van Yangshuo's landschappen en culturele charme ten volle kon waarderen in mijn beperkte tijd. Nog attenter was de eigenaar die een handige parkeerplaats voor me regelde, waardoor ik niet meer hoefde te rijden. Het was echt zorgeloos en geruststellend. De locatie van het hotel is ook fantastisch, op slechts een minuut lopen van de bruisende West Street, waardoor ik het nachtleven van Yangshuo kon ervaren en toch terug kon keren naar het hotel voor de rust en stilte. De kamer was onberispelijk schoon en comfortabel, met nauwgezette aandacht voor detail, wat mijn verblijf echt comfortabel maakte. Hier ervoer ik niet alleen de natuurlijke schoonheid van Yangshuo, maar voelde ik ook de warmte en oprechtheid van de mensen. Dit hotel is meer dan alleen een plek om te verblijven; het voelde als een thuis ver van huis, waardoor ik me ongelooflijk op mijn gemak voelde. "Couldn't give it a perfect score, but overall it was decent.
**Location:** It's on a back street, very close to the Guilin Yangshuo bus stop/gas station, about a 5-minute walk. It's really quiet during summer and winter breaks (kindergarten is off). Picture six shows the rooftop view – the terrace is huge and the view is pretty good.
**Facilities:** Although it's branded as a new hotel, it's actually a second-hand place that's been slightly renovated. The bedside tables clearly look used. The shower area has no door or curtain; you have to use the bathroom door to block it off. However, the glass has a frosted film, so privacy is good.😌
**Cleanliness:** Generally speaking, it was quite clean. The public areas were spotless with no overlooked spots.👌
**Service:** The day shift service was good.😌 The two young guys on the night shift seemed to be just messing around.😄😂 Important notice, I'll say it three times… ⚠️⚠️⚠️ If you're unsure about your plans, I recommend not booking this place. They explicitly state no cancellations, and while you can negotiate, it's more cumbersome than canceling within the allotted time. ✅ The shampoo and body wash were good, and the room even came with laundry detergent, which was a nice touch.😌"

"房間圖片和實物一模一樣，衞生很乾凈，隔音不錯聽不到什麼噪音，設施還不錯，就是智能馬桶腳感沖水有點不太好操控，落地窗很大但是靠近街邊的要拉上窗簾不然坐在窗邊樓下看的很明顯。地理位置很好，樓下很多吃的，離西街也不遠很方便。工作人員服務態度很好，特別熱情，體驗感超級好。酒店還有提供租電動車，包車這些，都體驗了一次。很適合我們外地過來旅遊的，包車去桂林市區也很便宜。服務態度真的很好很好，特地過來寫個好評。對面的五叔米粉特別的便宜好吃。過來旅遊非常推薦這個酒店，房間很乾凈也沒有異味，住了幾個小時果斷續住，非常有性價比。大家旅遊一定要看好天氣再出門，陽朔還是不錯的。

I had a wonderful stay here. Highly recommend this place. The owner is very helpful, friendly and happy to help! The staff are also great. I arrived In Yangshuo by boat and could not get a taxi for some strange reason, maybe due to roadworks and very busy time of day, as a result I quickly contacted them and asked if there was another way to get there as I could not get a taxi, and instantly got a response that the boss will come pick me up and in 5min the owner had come and picked me up from my location . The homestay is very close to Yulong river and bike rentals and electric scooter rentals are offered at affordable prices and it has a beautiful ride along the river , bamboo rafting is close-by too. The owner is very friendly and knowledgable and quickly gave me recommendations and suggestions of activities best to do nearby and how to get there. On my last day the owner also gave me a ride to the shuttle bus for Longji, refused to let me take a Didi! Very hospitable, Kind and good energy. The room was more spacious than expected. It was big, clean and great view! Definitely worth a visit and Ill be going back for sure. 😌

Relatively cheap accommodation with window/balcony facing karst mountain, and just 100m from the Li River. Some nice Thai themed embellishments decorate the rooms. Bed is only a small 'double' and has one useable powerpoint near bed right side + light controls. Aircon works well (only small room so to be expected). Overall, OK for 100 RMB per night, but does have a few issues.
Booked the 'special promotion' room. Trip.com indicates a room size of 12m square metres, which is incorrect. I measured it at 9.5 square, including the bathroom. If including the small balcony (2.5 sq m), the total room area is 12m best case. Only large enough for single occupancy, with small amount of luggage. Two people would need to climb over eachother to move around. No where near enough space for two - luggage would need to be kept outside on the balcony!
Hot water works but is not properly calibrated. Either boiling hot or freezing cold. Extremely difficult to find the right temperature to shower with any comfort. I put full hot, and waited. Water got super hot after 40 seconds. Adjusted to reduce by setting at middle between hot/cold, but water temperature remained super hot. Then pushed to full cold. Water temperature transitioned to cold 29 seconds later. Then put back to middle position but water remained dead cold. Tested this both ways for at least 4 minutes each and remained either scolding hot or freezing cold!!
Hotel provides signs to indicate desire to 'please clean room' and I hang this on outer door handle for two days, but to no avail So can only assume the owners don't provide this service. This establishment is only rated as a 2 star hotel, and given the low price point, you really can't complain - on the condition that the tariff is low. Acceptable for 100 -120 RMB per night. Unacceptable for much more than this though.

This is a wonderful family run guesthouse, where you can enjoy peace away from the hustle of Xingping Old Town. Differently from other types of accommodation we have seen in Dahe Bei village, this guesthouse is a hidden gem with charme and character. The food was excellent and abundant, freshly cooked by the owner herself. The owner picked us up from the Dahe Bei ferry dock, organised an electric moped rental in Dahe Bei (we didn't see many on that side of the river) and gave us plenty of tips and suggestions for where to go and what to do around there, including a sunrise hike to a nearby mountain that you can reach directly from the guesthouse - if you're into hiking (it's a 1h walk uphill through pomelo and orange orchards, followed by a series of staircases), it's a great spot, as we found only a few photographers when we got up there. The ginger cat and the house dog are cute and extremely friendly, adding to the overall wonderful atmosphere. Our room was spacious and clean, with plenty of hot water for showers after a day of hiking or driving around to see the surroundings. If we were to travel again in this area, we would definitely go back. Highly recommended!

Gewoonweg perfect. De eigenaresse is erg aardig en attent en doet er alles aan om je te helpen. We kwamen voor de inchecktijd aan en ze deed toch haar best om ons eerder onze kamer te geven. Sterker nog, omdat de kamer die we geboekt hadden naar tabak rook en we met een kind reisden, gaf ze ons een upgrade naar een andere kamer. We waardeerden haar aandacht en gebaar enorm. Bovendien is er een café boven, en een heerlijk kattencafé ❤️.
De locatie is perfect, hoewel je wel een paar minuten moet lopen naar het gebied waar je een Didi-taxi kunt nemen. Absoluut 100% aanbevolen.

THE BEST OF A HOTEL + THE BEST OF A HOMESTAY
Choosing LINJING HOMESTAY was a great decision! I recommend it 100%.
THE BEST OF A HOTEL: Spacious, beautiful, bright room with all the amenities and impeccable cleanliness. The views were fabulous, the bed was wonderful (large, with a comfortable, soft mattress and very soft sheets), it also had chairs and a table to work at, and the Wi-Fi worked very well. I liked that there were natural plants, too. The bathroom was fantastic. The bidet water gun was a pleasant surprise. You can shower with very hot water and good pressure. Don't worry if the floor gets wet: the water-repellent tiles dry very quickly. There are disposable towels if you want to bathe in the river, but there are also soft cotton towels and non-slip slippers to use in the hotel.
THE BEST OF A HOMESTAY: The hosts are a warm local family. I was touched by their kindness and hospitality. They helped me a lot and always gave me fruit and other nice things to eat. They were always willing to share a cup of tea. They also got me a motorbike at a very good price. And they let me use their washing machine for free. They even drove me to the station and dropped me directly on my bus.
THE SURROUNDINGS: The location is excellent. It is a quiet neighbourhood where local families live. You meet very friendly people all the time. You just have to cross the bridge in front of the hotel to get to the old quarter. Behind the hotel there is a path leading up to a viewpoint that few people know about. The path is very well signposted and is perfect for watching the sunset.

Het was mijn eerste keer dat ik naar Yangshuo ging en het hotel heeft goed werk geleverd op het gebied van milieuhygiëne? De receptie was erg geduldig en legde veel heerlijke en leuke dingen uit die er in Yangshuo te doen waren en plande ook een eendaags reisschema veel bespaard op kortingsbonnen voor attracties. Alles is erg handig op West Street. Een echte aanrader.

Voor westerse begrippen is dit niet meer dan een tweesterrenhotel. Kleine kamer en badkamer, slechts gedeeltelijk uitzicht op de rivier en de bergen, zowel vanuit de kamer als vanuit het dak, en geen lift met vier verdiepingen. We hebben in verschillende hotels in de omgeving van Guilin verbleven, waarbij we kozen voor hotels in de midden- tot hogere prijsklasse. Het hotel biedt een bescheiden kamer, maar voor een niet zo bescheiden prijs, naar mijn mening. Het internet werkte prima tot ongeveer 19.00 uur en viel daarna de rest van ons verblijf van één dag helemaal uit. De openbare ruimtes, de receptie en het dak zijn een beetje rommelig. Foto's en beschrijvingen lieten de accommodatie er veel beter uitzien dan ze in werkelijkheid is. De badkamer is zo klein dat je bijna moet douchen terwijl je op het toilet zit. De kamers zijn zo klein dat je een groothoek fisheye-lens nodig had om alles in beeld te krijgen, vooral de badkamer. Twee foto's zijn bijgevoegd: één toont de kamer en het uitzicht, de andere de grootte van de badkamer. Naar mijn ervaring is dit een kamer van $15 tot $20 (Amerikaanse dollar).

GREAT experience. Such a nice and helpful staff, we had a warm welcome and they were very keen on helping us during our journey in Yangshuo.
The location is right in West Street and close by the river, with amazing views. The room was very confortable and clean, had AC.
I definitely recommend!

It's definitely worth to stay there. The entrance through the dressing shop is nice and unique. Also the bar at the upper floor is nice, not busy and you can enjoy time there. I got a really nice room directly with view on the streets.
