An amazing place to stay before your flight from Lijiang! It’s spotless clean, no smoking is allowed so it’s odorless. The facilities in the room are new and modern. My room has a mountain view. They offer a free transfer to the airport, too. I highly recommend!

I was very satisfied with my stay here. The owner was extremely friendly and attentive; the service was excellent, the rooms were beautifully decorated, and the cleanliness was top-notch, making me feel like I was at home. The location is also perfect, right at the south gate of the ancient city. Upon arrival, the owner personally helped us with our luggage by riding a tricycle. The inn is very comfortable, and it’s very quiet at night. The owner is also a great talker; we enjoyed a cup of tea while he shared stories from all over the world with us. If only there wasn’t such a tight schedule, I would have loved to stay longer. Looking forward to our next meeting!

Ik verbleef in totaal 5 dagen in Huang Garden Inn en vond het absoluut geweldig. Jack en het andere personeel waren altijd zo behulpzaam, ze lieten me mijn tassen daar achterlaten tijdens mijn trektocht door TLG. De locatie is perfect! De voorzieningen en de netheid zijn onberispelijk. Jack spreekt Engels en, hoe druk hij het ook heeft, hielp hij me altijd met informatie over de bus en tours. Ik kon er ook mijn was doen. Er is ook een rustige buitenruimte om te ontspannen. Ik wilde echt niet meer weg. Ik kan iedereen een verblijf hier van harte aanbevelen.

We came because of the good reviews and we received even more than expected. I was very curious how every review was about the room, hospitality, breakfast and view, really enjoyed our stay here, we extended from three days to five days. We chose this location because it's nearer to the Yu Long Snow Mountain. We arrived early and immediately got upgraded to a much much bigger and spacious room with good view of the mountain and scenery. It was just bad luck that we came during bad weather but the room was really cozy, it made the stay very comfortable. It's very quiet and we had very full rest and sleep for all our nights here. There's also heater in the room that keeps us warm in the winter. The service and hospitality is unbeatable here. We felt like home living here where the amenities of room are well sufficient and provided, which soundproofing tapes at the sides of the door. The owner tested us like family and we felt very safe staying here. We borrowed umbrella, asked for directions, they offered to help us book tickets, made us breakfast on the spot and even provided us alternative options when we couldn't have breakfast and gave advice and support when we had altitude sickness. The homemade breakfast was really exactly what the reviews turn out to be. It turns out to be a blessings for us that we booked this place. Whatever request we kindly asked for was remembered and followed through, it really stands out among the places we booked so far. They were very easy to talk to and made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. The location was a little tricky to navigate because most taxi drivers didn't drop us infront of the property but it wasn't really an issue with local maps. There's water refill with warm and hot water. This is going to be our go to hotel in Lijiang from now onwards. Walking to Su He town was very easy too.

Vooral de baas is erg enthousiast en helpt je met het ophalen en wegbrengen van de herberg ingecheckte bagage. De kamer is ook erg schoon. Het sanitair wordt elke dag schoongemaakt (veel beter dan de B&B waar ik de vorige keer verbleef), en het zal veel goedkoper zijn als je naar Jade Dragon Snow Mountain gaat om een ​​tour te boeken bij de eigenaar. Bovendien is er een kleine Corgi in de herberg, die zo schattig en levendig is. Je kunt ermee gaan wandelen. Ruoshiguang Liuying Inn is a fantastic little place set in a perfect location in Lijiang old town. The location is close enough to everything you would need but tucked away to ensure a quiet and peaceful stay. The staff were amazing and helped us immensely. Everyone was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The rooms were spotless and had a nice charm to them. Heating worked perfectly and kept us warm during the cold nights. Highly recommend - we hope to return one day!

I've stayed at this hostel for 5 days, in a male dorm once you get that place, you might be noticed that this hostel is a bit far from Lijiang old town but trust me, you will not like Lijiang old town it is too commercialized to feel the Nasi culture, and literally you will be in the middle of human waves, especially at night(cuz night food market is just next to it) Whilst this hostel is located nearest Suhe old town around 2 min away by foot if gate keeper ask you to pay entrance fare ( I never been asked) just take a detour, you don't need to pay also, baisha old town is also close, 10 RMB by taxi hostel owner Willy ( not sure about spelling) he speaks very good English, if you have any questions, he's willing to help you also other staffs are very friendly and nice👍 even there's two cutest cats! ( just if you have cat allergy, be aware of them, they only stay inside of reception room ) the other things you should know is, if you want to visit Jade dragon snow mountain by public transportation such as bus 🚌, you need to take another bus( bus station is just in front of hostel ) to chongyi market ( better need to take the bus here rather than other stations ), and the first bus of the day departs around 8:50 from hostel side so if you want to see earliest Jade dragon mountain, you better need to book an tour program or take 7 persons mini van or Taxi second thing is, I was in the 10 person's dorm and the shower room is inside of dorm, room condition is not 100% perfect, apart from your bed, so if you are the one that cannot sleep easily, maybe not a good choice for you, plus around 8 am, the town has a bit loud sound of Nasi style Azan songs, I woke up by that Azan sound 1 ~ 2 times but all the same, if i have a nice chance, I would comeback to this hostel, probably for long term stay in the future with my partner if you come to this hotel I hope you are also able to enjoy your trip, good luck!🫡

Its location is a huge advantage: in a quiet alley, yet within short walking distance from all of the Old Town's gems, and near the Northeast Gate. This is a crucial detail you will truly appreciate when you need to park your car, call a cab, rent a motorbike or choose a pickup point for organized tours, since cars cannot enter the Old Town. The stay was an experience of warm, family-like hospitality. Fresh fruit, snacks and water bottles are always available for you in the central room. Mr. Li Tianfu, the heart of the place, takes care of your every need with a constant smile, and provides advice and help in any field. Very valuable especially to foreign tourists (wechat ***********). The inn is a traditional house built around a sunny, flower-filled courtyard and full of stunning carved wood. The rooms are clean and pleasant, equipped with A/C, electric blankets and great Wi-Fi. A laundry machine and detergents are also at your disposal. As is common in the dense layout of Lijiang, the second-floor rooms are brighter and sunnier. 10 steps from the Inn you will find everything you need: a convenience store, a traditional bakery, various tourist shops, and a special gem: Wei Wei’s Cafe-Bar, which is well worth a visit for excellent coffee, beer, great music and a unique atmosphere created by this special woman (wechat ***********).🌷

絕了絕了 看圖都知道這個客棧我真的愛了哈哈 連住了四個晚上 睡到自然醒 然後出去溜達溜達 晚上回到客棧裏往椅子上一躺 簡直不要太愜意 。老闆的審美和品味絕對一流 雖在古城裡 但屬實是鬧中取靜的一個好地方 喧鬧的古城進來的一瞬間就安靜了 離路口也是非常近。老闆人非常nice 基本是有求必應了 每天還有好喝還不要錢的咖啡哈哈哈 打掃衞生的阿姨人也很好 總之 我對這裡是非常滿意 如果以後再去 依舊選擇這裏

This was my first time in Yunnan, and my experience in Lijiang was made truly memorable thanks to this charming, family-run boutique hotel. I arrived very early in the morning after taking an overnight sleeper train from Kunming. Check-in was officially after 2 p.m., so I simply intended to leave my luggage and freshen up before exploring the area. To my pleasant surprise, I was warmly welcomed by Chun Kai, the owner’s son, who was managing the front desk that morning. Upon learning that I had an overnight journey, he kindly offered to let me check in early if a room became available. Within 15 minutes, a freshly cleaned room was ready for me, and I was like wowww and really appreciated it. Throughout my three-night stay, Chun Kai continued to be extremely helpful. Despite having to return to his hometown for his grandmother’s birthday, he was very responsive to all my inquiries about local food, attractions and tips through WeChat. The room was clean, well-maintained and comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom, a water heater and an air-conditioner that doubled as a heater. For the price I paid, the room offered excellent value. In terms of location, the hotel is not situated within Lijiang Ancient City, but that turned out to be an advantage. The surrounding neighborhood is quieter and more affordable, with a wide variety of local eateries and two major supermarkets nearby, i.e. Likelong Supermarket is less than a five-minute walk away, and Walmart is just a bit farther. Above all, it was the kindness and genuine hospitality that left a lasting impression. I found it difficult to leave, despite my short stay. If I return to Lijiang, this hotel will certainly be at the top of my list. P/S: The Google Maps address currently appears to be inaccurate. I recommend contacting the hotel directly for the correct location—entry is via the West Gate.
