2-Starhotels in Kunshan

Amazing stay with an incredible lake view. Waking up to that view alone already puts you in a good mood. The owner was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. Super friendly, warm, and genuinely helpful. He personally helped us move our luggage from the entrance, showed us around the place, and shared stories and tips along the way. It felt less like a formal check in and more like a friend welcoming you into his home. When it was time to leave for the airport, he even helped us compare transport options. He checked our DiDi quotes against a 7 seater driver he recommended, and his referral turned out to be about $200 cheaper, plus the car was really new and comfortable. That alone saved us a lot of hassle and money. We felt taken care of from start to end, like VIPs without the awkward luxury hotel attitude. Just sincere hospitality done right. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

This place was absolutely amazing, the host was the best we’ve come across, from meeting us and carrying all our bags, to finding us in the rain whilst we were shopping to offer umbrellas due to the downpour . The room was immaculate, we were able to store our drinks etc in the large commercial fridge, and yes it was cold!! Bottled water was free anytime. The location is brilliant , you can walk around the town and drop back and use the home stay facilities anytime, this was so nice as the facilities were so clean. Our room was spacious overlooking the canals, so even if you felt like a break, a drink and nibbles in your room whilst watching the events below was relaxing. The restaurant next door was the nicest we’d come across. I would recommend 2 nights stay, and definitely don’t look any further trying to find a better spot , book here. The Host spoke English and was easy to contact by email or mobile and WeChat. This is a family home stay business and it was evident during our stay. I’d give this place 10 stars

Vergeet niet om de B&B-eigenaar toe te voegen aan WeChat voordat u vertrekt! De baas stuurt u de locatie van de parkeerplaats. Het is slechts ongeveer 5 minuten lopen van de westelijke parkeerplaats naar de B&B. Maar we kwamen hier 's avonds rechtstreeks van het werk. Het was een beetje laat en we moesten door een onverlichte landweg lopen, wat nog steeds een beetje eng was. Je zou de hoofdweg moeten kunnen nemen, dat is handig, en echt handig. We kwamen snel op de schilderachtige plek. Na 21.00 uur en vóór 07.00 uur zijn er geen kaartjes nodig. Faciliteiten: Hard bed, ik ben er niet aan gewend, maar mijn man vindt het erg leuk. Hygiëne: Zeer schoon. De familiekamer waarin we verbleven had geen uitlaatgassen in de badkamer en de geur was een beetje sterk. Omgeving: Het ligt heel dicht bij de schilderachtige plek. 's Avonds zijn er lichtshows in de bloemensteegjes en in de regensteegjes in de buurt van de B&B. Service: De winkel was erg beleefd en de communicatie verliep soepel voordat we gingen. We informeerden de winkel toen we aankwamen en ze zetten onmiddellijk de airconditioner voor ons aan, wat zeer attent was.

Ga naar de oude stad Zhou Xiang, zie deze gymnasium op Trip.com, de tuin is prachtig, was oorspronkelijk aangetrokken door haar naam, ik voel me echt tevreden met de naam van de tuin, ik hou van de naam van de tuin, ik heb een gevoel van familie, deze mensen voldoen echt aan mijn eisen, de winkel is in de oude stad, Het is ook handig om te gaan naar de winkel. De eigenaar van de winkel is mooi en enthousiast. De eigenaar komt naar de parkeerplaats. Hij vraagt altijd wat we nodig hebben. Er is hier een mooie hond. Zijn huis is ook vriendelijk met dieren. Het is ook handig om dieren hier te brengen. De kamer is niet groot, maar is echt schoon. Zijn huis kan ook eten, de prijs is ook praktisch, dingen zijn goed lekker en de hoeveelheid is ook groot, ik moet zo veel plekken doorlopen, dit is mijn meest tevredene keer, ik zal deze naam nog steeds neerzetten 😊

The host is very nice and helpful. Strong suggestion for couples to go there enjoying there staycation. The location is in center of the ancient city, you need to pay ticket fee to get into the hotel location

Ik heb een zeer positieve ervaring gehad met het hotel. In detail: 1- De locatie is perfect. Het ligt in de stad Zhouzhuang zelf, niet ver van de ingang, maar niet aan de drukste straat. Om het dorp te bezoeken, moet je 50 yuan per persoon entree betalen. Maar bel eerst het hotel. Ze komen je ophalen en geven je een ticket waarmee je drie dagen lang onbeperkt toegang hebt tot het dorp. 2- Het personeel is erg vriendelijk. Ze vertelden ons waar we thee konden kopen en reageerden ook snel op onze andere verzoeken. 3- Het interieur is authentiek. We verbleven in een kamer in Chinese stijl. Precies wat een buitenlandse toerist nodig heeft. Ik raad deze plek ten zeerste aan.

Exactly like the picture the hotel provides, all facilities are set in the room. However, if you are a foreigner and consider arriving late at night after 9 PM, you may need to contact them in advance. When I arrived there, they are no staff and I did not have a local sim card to contact them even though they had the phone number on the desk. So make sure you prepare everything in advance. I stayed on the first floor, so they have some mosquitoes but every other thing is really good. even in the rainy season but the place was so peaceful at nighttime.

I arrived in pouring rain. I thought I could walk to my hotel but it was impossible in the downpour. I didn’t want to bother any hotel owner.   I didn’t and still don’t  have an eSIM that can make local  call but thanks to Trip.com, there is a link that I could call the owner for free.  I didn’t advise the owners my arrival time so they were off running errands.  I called the owner to pick me up and thankfully he answered. He was busy but gracious enough to turn around and picked me up. It knew Zhouhuang requires a ticket but I didn’t know that no cars, nor motorcycles, nor bicycles are allowed. Without him I would have arrived the hotel easily.  I always like to meet the owners instead of employees . They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They are honest people who dedicate their  blood and sweat to their business. The owner even offered to walk me to the bus stop  to Suzhou which was my next destination.  This  operates two hotels with 9 in one and 6 in the other. The one that I stayed in with 9 rooms is in a  lively and busy area . Just outside the hotel is a restaurant and there are plenty of places to eat. Inside the hotel is a peaceful oasis where you won’t hear any noise. The location is the best. The other hotel is in a quieter neighborhood a few minutes away. Each of the 15 rooms has it’s own personality, is different and has its distinctive decoration. The owners said they decorated them themselves. I love the decoration and especially the lighting.  After you reserve a room, be sure to contact the owner for the exact address in case you want to arrive on your own. I think it is best to request the owner to take you there because he/she will lead you to the ticket booth to buy tickets. There are a number of bridges so heavy big luggages can be a bit of a challenge .  If you arrive after 5 pm, you can enter free of charge as no one is there to check your ticket. . But once you are inside, and if you choose to leave the area after 8 or 9 am until 5 pm, you have to pay to come back in. You can buy a one day or in my case 3 days pass.  Do check with the owner for up to date information.  The room was quite clean. There were hot water all the time. There were other guests during my stay but they were not noisy at all. I barely heard them. I slept very well during my 3 nights there.  Zhouhuang is really beautiful. There are many canals, bridges, boat rides, good food of all kinds. I had some of the best meals there. In fact , I ate in the same restaurant that serves dumpling twice. One night I had grill (BBQ) meat just outside the entrance for 4 yuans. .  There is decent size supermarket just outside the turnstile and not too far away is a much bigger supermarket. It was there where I bought half a Peking duck for only 32 yuans . The seller sliced the meat and separated the meat from  the bones. The bones he fried so it was crunchy.  It was delicious. There is a theater that offers performances. The night view is great. If you step out your room, you will be overwhelmed in a good sense by the exciting surroundings.  This hotel definitely is one of the best that I have ever stayed in. Look at the beautiful pictures and find one that you like.  I stayed only 3 nights and one of those days I went to Tongli. In my opinion, one should spend at least 2 to 3 full days in  Zhouhuang (and especially this hotel ) savor the ambience. I don’t think Tongli is worth the time because it was twice as expensive and there are not that many canals and boat rides. It is much quieter and has fewer things to see. . The worst is that the sightseeing places require you to show your ticket. After 2 places, I lost mine ticket and I  couldn’t get in the rest of the places. It is unnecessary to require proof of entrance because you can’t enter the area without a ticket. 

首先表揚服務。早餐好吃比較用心，其次會有伴手禮，店家會給你發重要景點的定位，很方便。吐槽的是店家推薦地餐廳，真的很一言難盡，兩個人193塊錢，還沒有吃飽，分量少也就不提了。關鍵是味道真的是不提也罷，魚蒸的沒有放蒸魚的醬油直接是鹽撒在魚皮上，導致魚皮特別鹹，河蚌燒豆腐，估計是燒好了來人就盛的那種，有些腥味，醬鴨28一份，用的是那種袋裝的鴨子，其中的四分之一。真的話無語的很，萬三面真的是油膩的吃不了一點。

酒店離古鎮景區很近，走過去估計不到200米就是檢票口了，非常方便哦。老闆人很不錯，我們帶着孩子定的標間給升級到家庭房。在這個地段價格比較便宜性價比很高，對價格敏感的首選推薦。不足之處是裝修有些年頭了設施相對有點陳舊，不過價格在那了，和五星級酒店沒法比
