2-Starhotels in Calgary

Farther from downtown than anticipated, but that was my fault for not checking that out beforehand. Still, I used the airport shuttle to get back to the airport and from there I could get a train to downtown.

All was fine except that on this visit there was no wifi that made it difficult to check in for our flight or receive updates about the status of our flight. As a British person we would have preferred milk to be available for out tea not cream

The location worked for me because of the functions I was attending in the neighbourhood. It may not for others as there no restaurants or shopping close by. A typical airport hotel. Room was clean. Good basic amenities, fridge, microwave, iron & board, work desk, tv etc. I really liked the shower stall instead of the typical bath tub. The 24 coffee service in the lobby was a plus. There is also available snacks available for purchase. The pool and hot tub were nice to relax at after a tiring day. One of the elevators shudders as it reaches the 4th floor. The breakfast area was little crowded in the mornings with people waiting for things to be replenished. I skipped breakfast on both days I was there. A good stay overall.

Things are just wore out. Hole in bathtub patched poorly with caulking, tub faucet dripped nonstop, shower curtain was stained, duvets on both beds were badly yellowed, no longer white, had stains & were torn in multiple places.

The room is clean and spacious, king bed and sofa bed is very comfy, kitchen is very nice and we are totally satisfied with the hotel service. Highly recommend booking this room for a family. (Picture of sofa bed)

Zeer mooi hotel. De kamer was zeer schoon. Wi-Fi is uitstekende!!! TV is meer op een kleine grootte, maar kabel omvat sportkansen! Bedden comfortabel genoeg. Veel koffiehouders. Kwalitatief goede koffiemaker is een explosie. Ontbijt uitstekende Alles wat u nodig hebt voor een comfortabel verblijf. Een beetje ver van de trein, maar u kunt een bus gebruiken. Als u met de auto reizen, is er helemaal geen probleem. Erg comfortabele locatie zeer dicht bij de winkelcentrum.

This motel is not Econo Lodge in & suites university. Which we stayed also, and was much better than this one (econo lodge motel village). The room was small and the bathroom smelled unpleasant. The smell came from the shower curtain, which touches the bath tub water. When taking a shower, the water doesn't drain as fast so your feet end up soaking in that water along with the smelly fabric shower curtain. Also, the bath was weirdly higher than the ground so be very careful when getting in. During our stay, there were several bugs that found their way into our room during the night (Mosquitos, flies). The buzzing sound prevented us to sleep so we had to kill the bugs and go back to sleep each time. We also had problems with our room key, we had them replaced several times and you have to slide the card quite a few times before it unlocks. I think it's loose and you need to get the exact right angle, which is annoying when you have your hands full. I recommend the other econolodge situated behind this one. The staffs here are very friendly. For breakfast, they offered coffee, tea but without lids. There's bread and juice served in a solocup (but u can just use the coffee cup). There were muffins. If you have allergies, I suggest you to bring your own food. The price for this motel vs the other econolodge were the same. We try to avoid staying at the same place for our whole trip in case we don't like our room but we ended regretting not booking the other econolodge for our entire trip.

Nice enough room for the price. I only stayed for a night but the guy on reception was welcoming on checking in and the room had all of the required amenities for a short stay. The location is just outside of town so will require transport of some kind to get to the centre. Chinook was the closest CTrain stop and around a 15 minute walk.

The room was decent, they should advertise as dorms and not hotel. Had no AC but staff were kind to give us fans. Other than that everything was okay

The room was clean, and I was not expecting to get such a nice and beautiful room to spend the night. It was beyond my expectation. Value for money. That's the main reason I trust Trip.com for all my bookings.
