Log Cabin Lodge & Suites

The place has its fair share of quirks described below. But the pros outweighed the cons for my wife and me as we enjoyed a nice place to stay near Seven Springs. My wife and I loved the look of the room. The wood theme is cute, and the hot tube is enormous. We were sad to learn that you can't use soaps or oils in the tub, but it did heat up so lovely for us, and it was amazing after a day of skiing. The ceiling above us is a bit thin, and our neighbors above move around a bit. Also, the wall to the outside is thin. We can hear pretty clearly conversations happening outside. The TV worked after we connected it to the internet, though it loaded videos very slowly. The fireplace was fancy and did work well. The thermostat worked well, too. The option to view the rainforest animals and the 10% discount at the gift shop is excellent. It's only about 15 minutes from the slopes, which was terrific.

Lingering smoking-room smell was unpleasant. No breakfast was a surprise (listing said it included breakfast). Interesting wildlife.

The room was very nice and clean! Very friendly workers! The price for a deluxe room with a jacuzzi was very reasonable! I would definitely come and stay again!

Some noises like creaking late night. Went away. Some faint motor noise. Maybe heater fan. Great store and animal viewing area. Even winter has some wildlife to view indoors. The log cabin architecture is amazing. Parking lot dim.

The rooms were very nice. The only thing is, it’s not very soundproof. You can hear the people in the next room talking.

Rooms were clean, well stocked, and in good condition. Rate was affordable. Only issue was the hot water ran out rather quickly.

We booked this room with high hopes after looking at photos on the website and the close proximity to the ski resorts. After checking into the room, it looked mostly nicely kept inside but there was an awful loud tapping, creaking sound that was occurring pretty regularly throughout the evening hours. Unfortunately, it continued throughout the very early morning hours becoming obnoxiously louder and more frequent to the point that it was impossible to fall asleep.. even turning the TV on did not drown out the loud, excruciating noises. We tried to contact the front office but no one was answering the phone. When we brought it up at the front desk at check out, they seemed very aware that it was an issue and were very nonchalant about the situation as they didn’t care at all. Very disappointed and we will obviously never stay here again nor would he ever recommend that anyone stay here that would like to sleep.

stayed in one of the cabins this time, have stayed in the main lodge before too. nicely supplied kitchen. very comfortable beds. good climate control, room stayed warm despite 10* F outside! staff very friendly and responsive. I think would be a good place to be for skiing, many slopes nearby

My wife and I have stayed here a few times now, and we've yet to be disappointed. The beds are actually comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the staff is super nice. Super close to 7 Springs as well
