Mandy en Simon zijn heel lieve gastheer en gastvrouw die er echt alles aan doen om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Daar zijn ze zeer zeker in geslaagd. Het ontbijt is werkelijk waar fantastisch, met heerlijk vers fruit en zo ontzettend uitgebreid, het ontbreekt je aan niets. Ze hebben een heerlijke tropische binnentuin, sfeervol ingericht met een heerlijk zwembad om lekker af te koelen.

We hebben twee weken gereisd in Zuid-Afrika. Elke nacht (op twee locaties na) sliepen we ergens anders. Voor ons was het verblijf in Bhangazi Lodge de beste plaats. Prachtige kamer, super vriendelijke mensen en alles zeer proper. We gingen de dag na onze overnachting op safari. Ook daar hadden ze ons vanuit de locatie mee geholpen om dit te boeken. Aangezien we te vroeg vertrokken, konden we er niet ontbijten. Toch werd er een pakketje voor ons gemaakt die we 's middags konden meenemen. Super lief! Als we nog eens naar Zuid-Afrika gaan, boeken we zeker terug een nachtje daar!

Just had a 5star stay at Bhangazi, a really unique excellent experience with Simon and Mandy being the perfect hosts with a massive knowledge of St Lucia and surrounding area and places to go. If it’s a safari, the best restaurants or other activities the information was limitless! Start of the day breakfast is a treat with Simons internationally renowned omelettes a gourmet delight that fills you for the day. The solar panels keep things running if load sharing cuts in , the house is close to everything in St L . This is a definite when your on your travels experiencing the true South Africa,

Everything about our stay there was very enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious. Mandi was really helpful. The location was quiet. We enjoyed relaxing around the pool. I would definitely recommend Bhangazi Lodge and I would not mind coming again myself.

Super stay with Mandy and Simon. Lots of helpful information from them both. Rooms very comfortable with electricity for essentials provided during load shedding. Breakfasts delicious. Very helpful and flexible hosts. Extras (foods/drinks) available 24/7. Even snorkels and beach towels provided. Excellent position near town and beach/estuary. Highly recommend. And thank you, Mandy and Simon.

Our stay at Banghazi Lodge was super ! It was a welcome relaxing break from our overlanding camping trip from Capetown to Nairobi. We planned to stay 3 days, but finally enjoyed 5 days. The whole house is beautifully decorated and very stylish. Our room had airco, was light, clean and cosy with a perfect bed and shower. Our door opened next to the pool where we had a private place to sit outside. The pool is sparkling clean and very well maintained. The garden is very relax and inviting. Our car was parked safely. The breakfast is very delicious : Simon's omelettes are legendary and we already miss the fantastic fruitsalad. Simon and Mandy are supergood hosts : they have all possible information about St.Lucia : from best restaurants to trips in the beautiful parks and nature all around. Mandy arranged everything for us : all we had to do was relax. We definitally recommend Banghazi Lodge !!

Wonderfull Host, helped with everything, especially during an emergency. The rooms were very nice. A generator made loadshedding no problem. Special breakfast with many options was a wonderful start into the day. We felt very much welcomed.

Mandy and Simon are very attentive and kind hosts. They welcomed us like family members. Simon cooks a wonderful English Breakfast and Mandy serves a bowl of fresh fruit and yoghurt every morning. She gives many tips for things to do in the area and also books the excursions. The accommodation is furnished with a lot of love, each room has a small terrace facing the outdoor pool. We felt very comfortable in the Bhangazi Lodge and can absolutely recommend ist. The lodge is not far away from the city centre and also not far from the gate to Cape Vidal and to the boat dock for trips to the hippos.

Having spent eight days at Bhangazi Lodge we can only say what magnificent hosts Mandy and Simon are. Quite apart from the delicious breakfasts and our extremely comfortable room, their depth of knowledge on the local area and its wildlife were both informative and thoughtful.
