Preah Vihear Boutique Hotel

This hotel was probably very good 20years ago. Maintenance is neglible: pool water green Bathroom door doesn’t catch Rain shower head sprays horizontally Broken fittings etc etc Staff friendly but not over efficient Food basic Not much else in Preah Vihear unfortunately.

Reviews from 2020 describe the need for some major refurbishment for this hotel. Nothing has changed. TV and fridge in the room didn't work, it was hard to close the bathroom door, soap scum in the shower had not been cleaned for some time and the rest of the room wasn't particularly clean either. Breakfast was poor. I guess there is little or no competition so they don't see the need to improve.

Our booking was long standing, but it was only on our arrival that we were told that the entire hotel had been thrown over to a large party and that they would not be able to cater for us! Further, we would not be allowed to use the hotel facilities after 4pm! Had it not been for our guide and driver taking us out to eat, I'm uncertain how we would have coped? We were put in a room far enough away from the party so as to be quiet, but the room was barely adequate! We did get breakfast in the morning, which did little to redeem the awful service provided.

pessimo direi. Camera sporca, bagno pessimo e sporco, dico slo che un'amica si è trovata una rana nel bagno, io invece solo 3 grossi ragni! Colazione pessima, alla reception alle 10 di sera spariti tutti. Unico lato positivo la vicinanza al magnifico tempio.

Ehemals schön angelegtes Boutique Hotel-leider völlig heruntergekommen und schmutzig mit nahezu keinem und komplett ungeschultem Personal. Wir sind die einzigen Gäste gewesen. Der Besitzer lebt angeblich in Phnom Penh. So wird das Hotel nicht mehr lange bestehen können….

Nous avons eu le malheur de passe une nuit dans cet hôtel. Au premier abord sympa, c'est en fait une catastrophe... Globalement c'est sale, la piscine est verte et sale, les transats n'ont pas vu u´ nettoyage depuis longtemps, le dîner était mauvais et froid.... Je pense avoir tout dit....

Sale, mal équipé, digne d’un low cost, à éviter si vous cherchez une étape de qualité mais possible si vous êtes à court d’idées et que vous ne savez pas où dormir! L’endroit peut faire illusion: il y a une piscine mais on pas vraiment envie de s’y baigner.

Le cadre est beau quand on arrive: bâtiments répartis autour de la piscine...qui est verte donc on ne peut pas s'y baigner. Grande chambre avec terrasse avec une porte qui se ferme difficilement, lit en 140, sdb qui n'a pas vu l'anticalcaire et la javel depuis bien longtemps. La paroi de douche est blanche de calcaire, joints noirs, eau chaude difficile à régler, pas de tapis de douche, un shampoing mais pas de gel douche. Diner au restau dans une belle salle à l'étage mais il manque pleins de plats à la carte, pas de vin. Petit déjeuner minimaliste: café pas bon, que des pastèques en fruit et c'est le plus hotel du secteur. En exprimant notre mécontentement lors du check out, on nous a dit que c'était la reprise après le COVID qui était difficile. Mais cela fait un an qu'ils sont rouverts et ils sont les seuls aux alentours!
