I requested an upper level room and the person at the front desk was able to accommodate me. It was quiet on the upper level, which I liked. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. The room was very clean. I ate at the Bistro/bar down by the lobby and enjoyed food and drinks. I liked this food/bar area and thought it was a good idea. Staff members at the hotel were pleasant. I enjoyed my stay and I would definitely return to the Courtyard Marriott Springfield again in the future.

Stayed 3 nights. Bring a white noise machine. This will drowned out the doors closing and people walking in room above your room. Beds were very comfortable. Room very clean. Great water pressure in the shower. Shampoo, conditioner and body gel supplied. Smells great. The food was very tasty. Kitchen/food staff excellent!! Only issue we really had was last night there dropping off our elderly relatives at front door. A car came up on us from behind and was revving its engine and coming closer as we dropped off our passengers. We couldn’t leave the circle as another vehicle was parked in front of us. The person in the car swore at us and that person ended up being a hotel employee!! We complained. Got no where with mgmt. So you may want to watch out for the employee that looks like Eminem and drives a silver VW in the drop off area if you go there. That incident put a wrench in the rest of the night.

We prefer the Courtyard Marriott to the other hotels in Springfield. We like the pool, gym, and cafe. This time, the room had some problems. Although we st the thermostat at 68, the room was too hot. The door to the balcony wouldn't open to let in cool air. The maid service never made up the room or gave us more coffee.

I’ve stayed at this hotel 2x - once in 2023 and once in 2024 - same time each year. We were in town for an event. The first time the hotel was good. Nothing spectacular, but clean and nice enough. This time, the service was terrible, it was NOT clean (especially the pool!) and our experience was 3 stars, at best.
To be fair, I did speak with the hotel manager following my stay about a few, not all, of the issues. They promised to credit me for charges we should not have incurred (never saw the refund) and credit me a “free” night via my Marriott account. I got the points, no credit for a free stay (I’m told it’s not enough). I don’t know.
Needless to say, I will not be back and don’t recommend this hotel. There are signs all over the hotel asking specifically for 5 star reviews. So I must not be the only one with a sub-par experience. And while I appreciate the Manager’s time to hear me out, it was too little, too late.

The room was clean and the pillows were wonderful. The heater was set to 68 but the room felt like 75 all night. There was no fan in the bathroom and the water didn’t drain well which left you standing in water. For the price it was ok but it was a noisy and unattractive location.

The hotel is Very outdated and Dingy. When we arrived we stood at the counter for about 15 minutes until the girl across the lobby said do you need help. Very loud and we had a few knocks on our door that weren't meant for us. I don't know what goes on in this hotel but if it wasn't so late and after a 5 hour drive we would have went elsewhere.

The hotel needs a makeover. The room smelled of smoke, the towel rail kept falling off the wall and the toilet tank was leaking. Room was ok, but the hotel is showing its age and is frayed at the edges

This place is aged and unkept. They do not clean well at all. There was someone’s hair all over our bathroom, mirrors were dirty. The front desk never answers the phone at any point.

This was an okay stay for us. The beds were very uncomfortable so none of my family got a good night of sleep. The menu at the bistro seemed limited so we didn’t visit it. No one was at the market to take our payment when we bought items there. We had to wait 10 minutes by the bar to be acknowledged. We won’t be visiting a Marriott anytime soon.
