I was required to pay an $80 CASH deposit at check in or no room. I was told their ATM was available for cash if needed. They had an inexperienced young woman who needed assistance that was not given. The manager sat on her butt an yelled instructions instead of showing her how to do things. I was afraid to sit on the bathroom stool for fear of it breaking loose and being charged for damage. It also had mold around the base with an object of some kind lying nearby. There was sealant with mold around the water spout. The outside tub wall was so high it needs a warning marker. The heat/air unit had duct tape to hold its housing in place.

Clean and quiet. Was disappointed that the breakfast was not available. Also the pool was shut down

Very friendly the room a little small. The beds were a lil hard. It had friendly staff. It was clean

This property was the absolute opposite of what was advertised. The pool was closed & they were not seving breakfast. The floors were stained and dirty, the elevator smelled like smoke, in fact there was a nasty smell throughout the entire hotel. The previous occupant of the room had left articles of clothing in the room, the coffee maker still had grounds in it...I could go on and on. On top of all that, even though we had a reservation & had paid by credit card, they required an $80 cash deposit! I would NOT recommend this hotel!

We chose this hotel for the Pool it was shut down. For the breakfast it was shut down. Ice machine was not working. The only saving grace was the shower had excellent pressure and hot water. For some reason the tubs have a high side (higher the normal) and I fell getting out of shower. Would I recommend this hotel “NO”. They also require a 80 deposit at check in where it does not say anything about that at the time of making reservations

The Hotel does not serve breakfast as advertised… The Hotel rooms do not look like the rooms on *******… I couldn’t even buzz the front desk from my room cause the phone cord was missing to connect the handset… I tried calling with my cell phone to get WiFi code and no answer… I gave it a 3 overall cause I didn’t see any bugs and the room was clean just run down as hell… I gave a 4 cause there is a McDonald’s right next door…

The pool was closed and there was no breakfast as both were advertised when booking. There were also bedbugs in my hotel and I am still awaiting a refund after not even staying a full night to the the infestation. I have pictures with proof as well.

Baymont Inn, Springfield Illinois, room conditions are deteriorating, table lamp was broken and one towel bar fell apart, no breakfast available, and the TV was difficult to operate. Also the WiFi had a weak signal.

The lady checking me in told me we could not stay there because I disrespected her. If there was any disrespect it was her to me. I said maybe I should stay somewhere else where the check in person was nicer and she said you should. We don’t want you here so I left. Also no breakfast which was advertised and no pool and she wanted a cash deposit if $80 cash which I did not have. What a terrible way to run a hotel. I will never stay at a Baymont Hotel again.
