"This is a lovely hotel with a lot to offer. The location is truly excellent—close to public transport and within walking distance of the main station. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was spacious and very clean.  The only area that didn't meet our expectations was the breakfast. The selection was quite limited, and the quality didn't seem to match the rest of the hotel experience. It was the one thing we were disappointed with. Despite the breakfast, we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel for its fantastic location and comfortable rooms."

"Om de kleine stadjes rond Interlaken te verkennen, koos ik deze keer voor Mürren, de stad aan de voet van de Schilthorn. Na lange tijd te hebben gekozen voor Ctrip, koos ik toch voor het onlangs geopende Palace Hotel met relatief complete faciliteiten. Faciliteiten: Het is gelijkwaardig aan de vijfsterrenstandaard op de top van de berg. Er zijn een aantal ondersteunende faciliteiten zoals het stadszwembad, het fitnesscentrum, de feestzaal, enz. Het duurde lang om het zwembad te vinden en ik belandde per ongeluk bij de ingang van de sportclub. Het hotel heeft namelijk een speciale doorgang en kleedruimte, evenals douches. De ruimte is relatief groot voor Zwitserland, maar er is een diagonale balk in het midden die de beleving en de loopruimte beïnvloedt. De droge en natte ruimtes liggen te ver uit elkaar, wat eigenlijk niet erg handig is in gebruik. In de natte ruimtes ontbreken ook prullenbakken en andere items die het gebruik beïnvloeden. Hygiëne: De openbare ruimtes en kamers zijn erg schoon, vooral omdat het hotel nog niet zo lang geleden is geopend. De geur van nieuwe decoratie in de gang is nog steeds vrij sterk. Er zijn nog tekenen van onafgemaakte renovatie aan de buitenkant, vooral omdat er afval op de grond ligt en het op regenachtige dagen modderig kan zijn. Omgeving: Het spreekt voor zich dat het weer, met uitzicht op de besneeuwde bergen en kliffen, op de dag dat we incheckten gemiddeld was, wat de hele ervaring beïnvloedde. Service: De centrale verwarming was in mei uitgezet, maar het was maar vijf of zes graden op de berg, erg koud, bibberend in de kamer. Er was geen afscheiding in de douche, dus douchen was koud. Er was geen waterkoker, dus we waren afhankelijk van het Delonghi-koffiezetapparaat om water te koken, maar die in onze kamer was ook kapot. Over het algemeen is de kamerprijs van ongeveer 3000 euro begrijpelijk voor een klein stadje op de top van de berg, maar de faciliteiten zouden beter kunnen."

"Het interieur van de kamer is grotendeels gemaakt van hout en steen, en 's nachts hangt er een lichte houtgeur in de lucht terwijl je slaapt. Het bed is comfortabel, het uitzicht vanuit het raam is prachtig en de service van het personeel is ook uitstekend."

"The hotel is very beautiful and also the room with balcony that I could enjoy the magnificent view of the mountain. The breakfast was nice with different choices of food served in a traditional restaurant at ground floor. The garden in front of the hotel was planted with flowers. Will definitely stay again when I come to Grindelwald."

"Love the stay at Eiger! Hotel was opposite the train station and butler was at the train station to help us with the luggage without even us asking for help. Got a room with the mountain view and it’s so beautiful! Definitely recommended and would love to come back to this hotel if we were to be back at Mürren. Thanks Adrian for helping us w the luggages to the train station when we are going back as well!"

"The people working in the hotel are great, they are very friendly and helpful! The room in general is very clean, but the hotel has many flies flying around, especially during breakfast, there are many flies just lying on the bread and also flying around our food. Location from the hotel to city center is around 20~30 minutes walk, and there is a bus passing by the hotel every 20~30 minutes as well, for us it is alright, but we need to check the schedule to make sure we don't miss the bus, otherwise we will need to wait another 30 minutes for next bus or just walk to the city center."

"Old fashioned room has no air con, needs to use the table fan provided. In addition, the window almost dropped off. Room is dark as not enough lights. Not enough electricity plugs available for charging 4 devices (phones and tablets). Beautiful river facing from the window. Conveniently located near the train station and shopping."
