Fantastisch rustig gelegen verblijf in de omgeving van Sorrento. Prachtige tuin, zalig zwembad met zicht op de Vesuvius, ongedwongen sfeer. De Italiaanse eigenaars zijn heerlijk vriendelijk, behulpzaam en aangenaam. Heel verzorgde, nette en ruime kamer, perfect ontbijt en diner op reservatie was subliem. Dank je Barbara!

Samen met mijn man hebben wij 8 dagen genoten van ons verblijf in Palazzo del Baronne. Wil je echt even weg van de dagelijkse beslommeringen, dan raden wij het je echt aan. Achter de poort van Palazzo del Barone ontdek je eenwaar paradijs. Het volledig mooie en luxe gerestaureerde paleis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en de schitterende aangelegde tuin met zwembad en uitzicht op de zee maken het plaatje compleet. Het ontbijt ligt ver boven de begrippen van een normaal italiaans ontbijt en ook de lunch en het diner zijn zeer goed.Je wordt echt in de watten gelegd. Barbara en haar personeel doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken, ze brengen en halen je zelfs op van en naar Sorrento.

Het is de t****e keer dat we hier verblijven. Na het fantastisch verblijf van vorig jaar wou ik hier direct terug komen! Klein, gezellig familiehotel met prachtig uitzicht op de baai van napels en de Vesuvius. Heerlijk ontbijt, lunch en diner, je komt hier niets te kort. Barbara en personeel zijn super behulpzaam, makkelijk bereikbaar via whatsapp, komen je ophalen of brengen je indien nodig na at Sorrento. Veel wandel mogelijkheden. Indien je opzoek bent naar een ontspannende vakantie waar je je geen zorgen moet maken is dit een aanrader!

We spent four night during our honeymoon at the Palazzo and loved it. They serve great food and drinks and one of our favorite days was relaxing by the pool with great service. We also did the cooking class which was incredibly fun and tasty. We loved our room and balcony. It’s a fairly long walk to town but very doable going down hill. They do have a shuttle to pick you up and bring you back at night which is helpful. Overall, we loved the stay. Sorrento is very busy and it’s nice to have a tranquil place to relax and recharge.

When the taxi has to drop you and your luggage off at the end of a narrow road beause he says his fleet refuses to drive down it, a red flag should have gone up. Perhaps if this property was closer to town and not on a scary road we would have enjoyed our stay more. Compared to the other 7 hotels we stayed at during our trip to southern Italy, this was the least welcoming. When we asked for water upon arrival we were told we could pay for it from our mini bar in the room. Every other hotel ofers you a 'Welcome" beverage. Lucy and Barbara were very kind and helpful. The views are lovely but the shuttle bus does not continually go back and forth to Sorrento, it's some specific times and the walk is not easy and not doable at night. The property is not right outside of town, it is wayyyyyy outside of town. I see others raving about the breakfast, it was good but certainly not worthy of raves like all the other hotels we stayed at this trip in the same price range. So come for the view which is lovely but don't exoect other elements to equal the view!

Possibly the best view we’ve ever had from a hotel anywhere. A beautiful serene location, very comfortable with lovely food offerings and extremely convenient shuttle. Barbara was always on hand for our requests and arranged a tour of the Amalfi coast for us. Having to order breakfast content in advance was a little quirky but quality and service were excellent. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and our stay was extremely pleasurable.

We absolutely loved our stay here on our honeymoon!! The property is stunning and the staff is so nice. Great location outside of Sorrento— the walk into Sorrento from the hotel is lovely. And the food at this B&b is INCREDIBLE!!! The breakfast has so many options and is delicious (currently craving the pancakes!) We also had dinner one night at the B&b and it was one of our best meals of the trip!!! They change the menu daily and use the freshest ingredients. Their cooking school looked amazing but we did not have a chance to try it— next time!! Highly highly recommend staying at this beautiful and charming b&b.
