Het slechte - Bij binnenkomst in het hotel gaven ze me een kamer die niets te maken had met wat ik had geboekt (uitzicht op de oceaan), nadat ze probeerden te praten aan de telefoon, namen ze nooit op bij de receptie, dus toen ik de operator belde, vertelde ze me alleen fysiek naar de receptie gaan om te claimen. Ik bracht 1 uur door bij de receptie, dus ze gaven me een kamer met uitzicht op zee en dichter bij het strand en het zwembad. Bij het strandbuffet, toen ik frisdrank ging halen, weigerden ze me en zeiden ze dat de ober het naar de tafel zou brengen.

Fatal no hubo agua caliente en toda la estancia, no nos daban respuesta ni solución ni en el hotel ni trip, cucarachas por la habitación, humedad, buffet repetitivo y de mala calidad, imposible cenar en los restaurantes porque había que reservar con muchos días de antelación, antes de llegar no contestan a correos ni nada, la playa horrorosa llena de algas sucia y fea, para llegar desde playa del carmen imposible si no es un taxi qie te cobra 60€ por un trayecto de 15 min, de la puerta de entrada al lobi hay que andar dos km y de la habitación a la playa otros 2, no te acercan ni a la puerta.. NO RESERVAR NI AQUI NI ESTE HOTEL, MEJOR RIU SIN LUGAR A DUDAS

感覺總是訂不到高級晚餐…不過酒店夠大，離海，景色不錯。設備也還行，但這個價格是真的很不錯了！有機會，會再來。

We checked in on January 21, 2024. Upon arrival we were in the wrong room, which smelled musty and had mold on the roof. We had to walk with our luggage back across the property to the lobby to exchange rooms which the staff did find us a new room. When we got into our new room the Air Conditioner was broken and required maintenance. Overall that room appeared cleaner and did not have a horrible moldy smell to it. However the roof started leaking water for the entire stay. We required a bucket to be placed under an area of the room to gather all the water being dripped. The mirror in the room was hanging off the wall and by one drywall screw. The ceiling fan was ended up breaking and one panel flew off and nearly hit my husband. There were wood shards all over the room and it was the most unreal thing to experience.
The app they use to make reservations doesn’t accommodate if you’re in a large group. There were 10 of us all staying together (in different rooms) however the only way to eat together at the reservation required restaurants was to book with the concierge and most restaurants were fully booked. It made it very hard to book anything together for dinners.
The bars and restaurants use plastic cups for serving drinks which are not cleaned prior to being used again. Staff go around the hotel and gather all the plastic cups then rinse them under tap water and stack them back up to be used again. I would not recommend staying at this resort.

Couldn't go into the water on the beach at the resort. Had ro walk 10 minutes down the beach to go into the water. Concierge service was not the greatest at all. Would not recommend this properly. They advertise as a 5 star hotel and I would say, more like a 3 star hotel.

The worst vacation of my life! Make sure you read to the end;
1. The room we booked was not the room we received, as result ended up changing rooms 3 times in 3 days, the last 2 rooms where exactly the same and the last room did not have Wi-Fi, for someone that was supposed to work a few days it did not help.
2. No Hot Water, when contacting the desk, we were told that only warm water was available.
3. The food was sub-par, the buffet was the same rotated food every day and even in the restaurants the quality was not very good.
4. Wife got food poising, spent 2 days in bed.
5. Only one bar available for the pool and beach area, so if you wanted a drink you better have patience.
6. No snack bar on the pool or beach area.
7. Beach water was very murky and not what the promo pictures displayed.
8. On the my first day there I cracked my head open in 2 feet of water which required 10 stiches b/c the water was so murky and the hotel did not have any signs that stated it as a rocky beach even the lifeguards deem that part of beach unsafe but the hotel refuses to post a sign. After this incident I spent 2 days trying to get a hold of a manager but kept getting the runaround but after much push back I was able to see a manager who was polite but did nothing to improve our stay. There was never a follow up after the incident from any supervisor or manager, it seems that only the daily workers are supposed to care for their guests. Extremely poor Customer Service.
