Estamos aún alojados en el hotel mi pareja y yo hasta mañana, hemos pasado 5 días en este hotel. Destacar el excelente trato del personal tanto de recepción como camareros. La habitación es elegante y de espacio está bien. El balneario tiene piscina grande y la única pega que he visto que cubre bastante para poder darte bien los chorros y poder sujetarte bien de pie si eres bajita como es mi caso es imposible yo iba de puntillas andando por lo que no podía darme bien los chorros. Está hecha para personas altas. Por lo demás bien buena temperatura del agua y si quieres saunas y piscinas de contrastes hay que pagar aparte para entrar eso es otra cosa que no entiendo puesto que el hotel ya cobra bien la estancia y podía entrar igual que el circuito. La comida del restaurante deliciosa y bien cocinada y presentada. En mi opinión es un buen hotel. Tiene piscina se verano.

What a treat, my husband booked 2 nights here to spoil me after an 8 hour drive across Spain from Alicante province to the ferry from Santander. The hotel is only 15-20 minutes from the ferry so a great stop over for travellers. Receptionists were friendly and helpful, we checked in and then parked underground. The buildings are quite spectacular and everything inside was extremely clean and well maintained. The room was good, bath and shower in the en-suite. Small fridge but no tea/coffee making facilities sadly. The thermal spa pool was wonderful, we booked access along with the accommodation, definitely worth it. There were also many trea**ents and extras available- we were happy with the pool. 2 nights was perfect, we got to explore Solares, and eat out in a local restaurant. Breakfast at the hotel was perfect - plenty of choice from the buffet and also options to order ‘cooked’ breakfast and omelettes - the coffee machine was the only negative - a pain to use and took a while to work it out, by second day we had it sussed.

We arrived at the Hotel and after we received our room we noticed the AC was not cooling I called the front desk to asked them to fix it and the manager said let me call maintenance and see what they say.. ok I waited 1 hr no change and I called again .. this time she tells me ok I’ll call maintenance again and see what they say mean while we are hot as hell and no call from the front desk. Next day I spoke to other guests and they expressed the same concern about the AC at this moment my wife and I are leaving… we had reservations form 6/23 to 6/27 but had plans to stay till 6/30 at that point we packed our bags bought a plane ticket to Portugal and we are leaving and not coming back ever to this place we are planing to go to another hotel called Gran Hotel Balneario de Puente Viesgo I hear it’s much better hotel. So if you like AC in your room I subject to look to stay in another hotel. Hope this helps you.

Well located for access to Santander sea port.
Beautiful building and quiet location that welcomed our dog for €19 (€150 deposit refunded on check out)
Pros:
. Secure underground parking free of charge
. Quality and quantity of breakfast included in the rate
. Room size
. Bathroom size and complimentary spa quality shower gel, shampoo, conditioner etc.
. Quiet
. Pet friendly
. Local restaurants and supermarket within walking distance
. Pleasant bar area … able to sit on the terrace with our dog
Cons :
. Room service has limited menu and is not served until 2030 hours
Biggest Con:
. Air conditioning is switched off centrally between the hours of 0100 and 0700
The biggest con spoiled our stay as the room was over hot and we were unable to sleep.

Overall this is a nice hotel. The thermal pool is excellent! The 40 euro spa is nice, but not worth 40 euros. Our air conditioning wasn’t working when we arrived and they came within the hour to fix it. Fun fact: the hotel turns off the air conditioning from 0200 to 0600 ish, so if you wake up warm, that’s why.

The castle is beautiful, however the front desk check in lady was rude, so that was my initial impression.
The rooms were a bit outdated, no tea kettles in room, termal pool was not termal or hot.. it was slightly warm, just overall not impressed. It was not worth the price paid per night. Parking in garage was 6.50 euros per night which was fair and nice because lift goes up to room from garage. The breakfast buffet was nice with many options. This was also an extra charge.

As a business traveller I wouldn't recommend this hotel .. there was no iron/board in room but also not available in hotel .Also no kettle in room or again even available .. for these reasons wouldn't stay again
